Love the location, hot tub, and the fact it fit the whole family. It could use some updates but was a fair price for our week vacation. Being able to walk to everything was a major plus!

This is our 2nd stay at this house. We love the location and ease of walking to the main attractions. Unfortunately we didn’t have any luck with crabbing this trip but we still enjoyed our stay.

House was perfect for what we needed. It is close to everything you could need!

Sheets were old and stained. Smoke detectors were beeping so we replaced batteries to quiet them. Bed upstairs was broke so we fixed so we could sleep on it. No detail to cleaning, upstairs had scrabble pieces on the headboard spelling various uncalled for words and dice with words rolled to hate etc. weird sounds in house and garage next door is vacant and run down so kids are in and out of it all hours. Tried to have a movie night and 2 of us were on couches and 2 were going to lay on the floor and carpet smelled like pet urine to the point we couldn’t lay there. House just needs a complete DEEP CLEAN and new sheets etc.

Location was great. But the place needs a good clean. Our bedsheets had blood stains on them that were super obvious—first thing you saw when you turned down the blanket to jump in. Old diaper was found behind out dresser, carpets smelled like dog urine, and the hot tub was freezing cold when we arrived so we couldn’t use it the first night. Kitchen was super dark and hard to see. We moved bedroom lamps into it. One bedroom had not power in the outlets, which was a challenge for parents who needed to use a baby monitor. Enjoyed the crab traps and clam guns available.

The house is the perfect size :) the neutral interiors and decor are pleasing, the hot tub is great, and the deck is the perfect place for early morning birdwatching. The beach and arcade are short walks away. Perfection

This house was great for 3 families with teenagers in town for a soccer tournament. It was spacious enough and the outdoor seating was great. The house is a little creaky because of its age and the carpet is dingy but the beds are super comfortable. It was nice to be able to walk to town and the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

Confused about double charges, to both vacasa and vrbo, very misleading concerning fees
Concerns about missing window screen, terribly stained carpets and sofas, and need for fans were put off and not resolved

Great older, pet friendly house for a large group! The location was perfect. Walking distance to main strip. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. The house has plenty of parking, large kitchen, nice river view and a hot tub. It was also well stocked - a kitchen full of dishes, pots/pans, beach towels, chairs and even crab pots.

The property is nice, location good. Needs some thorough cleaning and updated mattress and outdoor chairs were broken

We loved the spaciousness of this quaint house and the fact that it was close to everything.
We had a security issue with the locked hot tub being accessed by someone else while we were there.
It was never resolved and resulted in family not feeling safe.
There was only 1 television in the house. Something to consider if you have a large family, especially with teens and children.
The property manager was quick to respond but the owner never responded to any of our messages.
It was a great space but we would probably not stay there again due to security and communication.

Very old property, house in rough shape, bedding and linens, towels aged didn’t smell fresh.
We noticed water damage in kitchen and bathrooms, flooring , carpets stained/dirty in upstairs bedrooms and couches.
We wiped the bathrooms down when we found hair in both showers and kitchen wiped walls where things had been spilled prior to our arrival. Neighbors noisy after 10pm.

Nice Place - poor communication
Nice place - old home without many amenities but close to town. Hot Tub was Dirty but had been raining so understandable. Booking was through Sunday but we had to leave early because of a mistake on the reservation

Phenomenal stay!
After staying all along the Oregon Coast we have always found Seaside to be a bit hectic but our stay at this house removed any hesitation to stay in Seaside again. The house is very big, clean, quiet and relaxing. We were impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked and the washer and dryer worked great. It was so nice to be able to walk downtown, even with a toddler with us and not have to worry about parking on the busy downtown streets. The private hot tub, shuffleboard and deck overlooking the river offered us a quiet place to relax after a long day site seeing. The EV charging station was a big plus. We would definitely recommend this house and will be staying again.

A Nutty Crazy Fun Family Time
Comfortable from the time we walked in.
Plenty of room for three grandkids, and four grownups. Loved our stay here.
It was an easy walk to town and of course the Seaside Coffee shop.
Been struggling with Multiple Myeloma, this was a well deserved break in a sweet older home, ready to make memories and fill us all with joy . Great choice of stay , would do it again.

Perfect for a large group
We really enjoyed staying here, lots of room and extra bedding. There was plenty of dishes and cookware. The two nights we were there was raining but will be back to enjoy the back yard BBQ and shuffle board. It will take some research on what would need to do for the crabbing off the back deck, but would definitely be trying it out on a longer stay. Perfect location to downtown shopping and eating.

Cozy and centrally located
We had a really nice stay here on a fall weekend, with some rain and wind! The house was inviting and very close to the shops in Seaside. There was plenty of space and the beds were cozy. There were plenty of towels and condiments in the kitchen (I would have loved to have seen a coffee grinder though)! The house is older and could use a few updates: the steps leading up to the back door are slanted and uneven at the top, The bathroom on the main floor doesn't have a fan, so you need to open the window, but the window doesn't stay open, so we had to find ways to prop it open. The toilet paper also didn't stay on the wall because the piece that was holding it in place was broken. The house is also along a somewhat busier street and being dog-friendly, it isn't fenced and some fencing would add a lot of value. the river in the back was lovely, we saw ducks, loons and herons! We also heard frogs at night. The beach wasn't too far of a walk and overall I would definitely recommend this spot to a friend.

Wonderful vacation spot for family gathering
We celebrated our 50th anniversary with family and this home was perfect. The four bedrooms are spacious, the downstairs was very comfortable for all of us to gather to play games and watch football games. The backyard is large and private with a deck overlooking the river and a shuffleboard court. We did not use the hot tub because we ran out of time with all of the other activities but it seemed nice. The kitchen had everything we desired. The smoke alarm was beeping when we arrived and the extra battery that we found seemed to be defunct so we bought a fresh battery to turn it off. There is no longer a spare at the home. The check out time is 10 am, which was difficult for us to manage with breakfast for everyone, packing up and then cleaning the place and starting the laundry. We did receive a call that we were tardy about leaving on time (about a half hour) which irritated some in our party even though we had known in advance the checkout time. Although I loved the home I don't think we will book again because of the rush in the morning to leave.

Birthday celebration
The location was convenient for walking to the beach. The deck by the river cute. The kitchen was well appointed. The bath towels were clean and plenty of them. The rest of the house needs a serious update! Dirty walls, old old old stained carpets. Beds with old matresses, one sinking on either side. Sticky railing to upstairs and cobwebs on the ceilings. Couches old and old swivel. So sad to see the disrepair as this old house has amazing potential. The owners have embellished the interior. I was so embarrassed to bring my siblings here and will not use again.

This house was built in the early 1900s, and has some historic charm to it. Those who appreciate the skill and craftsmanship of houses from this era will find lots to appreciate in this house.
We stayed here for a half a week with a five-year old. The bedrooms, especially those upstairs, are very spacious. The common area is also very large, with a separation from the kitchen. The bathrooms have been updated and have nice fixtures. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook or serve food, and there are lots of towels, beach equipment, and games.
The backyard is really the star of the show, with a small detached patio that faces the river. It's a very pleasant place to sit and watch the birds or people playing on the river.
Those with younger children will want to note several things: During warmer months, you need to open windows to keep the house cool, but all of the upstairs windows that can be opened are all very low to the ground, which means they are a falling hazard for youngsters. We found that we could open the windows on the ground floor (which are higher up and not as accessible to youngsters) and then run the whole house fan to move air around inside.
There's one set of stairs, and they are VERY creaky and noisy. If you put kids down for naps upstairs, you're not going to be able to sneak away without making noise. You may want to use one of the downstairs rooms for kids if this is an issue.
The two upstairs rooms have east facing windows with no coverings, which get very early morning light. They are half-round, so there's no good way to block the light from coming in and waking up those in these two rooms. (the downstairs rooms have dark window coverings.
The road is surprisingly busy, it's used as an alternative through fair to the highway for local traffic, so you will have cars going by very frequently even well into the night. The road noise isn't too much of an issue for the downstairs bedrooms.
It is a very easy walk (less than half a mile) to broadway and the associated shops.
The two couches in the front room were not very comfortable due to their age and use, they're hide-a-beds, and you can feel the bars from the bed through the bottom cushions. A couple of the mattresses are also very well used, and probably nearing the end of their lifespan.
The hot tub is in a small lean-to off the garage, which also has a covered eating area. The tub was great, and the enclosure makes it very private. The eating area has lights (inside the door to the tub), so it would be a useful area in the early evening as well.

Old, creaky, over priced
I waited too long to make our annual reservations to seaside. So while I'm grateful to have a place to stay, I paid way too much for too little.
The Cons: House is old, creaky and according to my kids ,"smells like a grandma house". The carpets were quite damp the entire first 24 hrs, but that was because it looks like they were shampooed prior to us coming, which I appreciated, but they were wet and smelled musty.
Some of the doors barely close or pop open, don't lock and are very loud when you open, walking the whole house if someone gets up to go to the bathroom at night. I didn't get much sleep.
The beds are very old and not very comfortable.
The neighbors were cussing so loudly, and so long the first night we had to close all our windows to try to protect our 7 year old's ears (it was bad!).
The Pros:
The hot tub was great. The outside is cute and we enjoyed sitting on the deck by the River. The house WAS clean, just old, which is easy to confuse. But it was clean, with the exception of some items in kitchen cupboards (the blender was nasty).
If I had paid half of what we did I probably would have been satisfied. But I've had much much nicer and larger places for less.
This house needs major updating.

Nice location
The location was central. Walkable to the beach and town for people those who are fit. Carpet was very dirty and house was old and quirky. Beds were not very comfortable. (Twin bed upstairs was nice). Linens and towels were clean and plenty were provided. Nice amount of spices. Not much was included for babies, only one baby gate that didn’t work correctly. But, lots of beach toys! There is no access to the river, just a view.

Great Location
This Airbnb was a great location, 10 minute walk to beach and 5 minute walk to town. The games and hot tub were definitely a great addition to the house and they have a ton of things to bring to the beach that were fun!! The patio out by the river was also nice to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and go relax in a very peaceful setting. The only downside was that the furniture was older and some of the beds were not in good condition, and the TV was definitely older. But with all the things to do outside and in town we didn’t spend much time in the house to let these things take away from the area.
