About this house rental

A combination of a recent refurbishment and an ideal configuration for families or large groups, makes this cottage a highly desirable property for holiday goers wanting a stress free getaway!

The property boasts four bedrooms, three with queen beds and a fourth that comfortably fits three bunk beds. One of the queen bedrooms has a modernised ensuite off it and there is another family bathroom, easily accessible by all. (which also conveniently houses a washing machine and dryer).

All rooms have reverse cycle air conditioning and there's also a wood fire to cozy up to.

The new, modern kitchen is equipped with all amenities including a coffee machine.

Soak in the beautiful mountain views on the huge covered back deck with BBQ facilities.

Property Includes Free Wi-Fi .

The property is situated in a prime location, with great views of the mountains, and just a stroll to all of Talbingo's amenities including the Country Club, Talbingo Lodge Restaurant, supermarket, service station, golf course, tennis courts, sporting oval, park and children's playground.

You are a short drive for skiing at Mount Selwyn Snowfields, water skiiing on Talbingo Dam and Blowering Dam and fishing at Journama Creek.

What sets us apart is our unique configuration. While most holiday rentals will put a single bed in with a double, we have three dedicated queen rooms with the bunks (6 singles) in a separate room. This gives parents some privacy and space to relax and enjoy their holiday, secure in the comfort that the kids are still in the next room!

With the recent refurbishment, your mind will be at ease knowing that the property is clean, comfortable and secure. There is also the added benefit of being able to park the boat off street.

Would definitely stay here again. Great place to stay if you are heading to Selwyn snow resort. It has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Margie was a dream to communicate with. Totally responsive and check in was a breeze.

very poor service. No proper internet comnection. we were out of internet services for more than 36 hours in that house. Not enough basic utilites like toilet papers. Had a terrible experience. Dont wanna suggest it to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in talbingo Property was quite spacious and comfortably fit our family and friend group of 9. Was equiped with everything that we required for our 3 night stay. Local shops was a close walk as was the local country club.

Such a lively property. Nice and clean, well appointed and plenty of seating. The kitchen was brand new and accommodated us well. Really enjoyed the beautiful deck out back for evening meals and happy hour. Within close distance to the lodge and shops which was great for us. Would highly recommend to friends and family visiting this gorgeous area.

Great accommodation for what we needed for us and our adult children and 2 grandchildren so that we could all be together and close access to Talbingo Dam for our boating activities. Facilities were really good with heaps of refrigerator space . Only problem was having to take sheets and bath towels. We may stay there again in the future if available when needed.

We picked a spot halfway between Melbourne and Sydney for our two families to come together for a break. Talbingo is a quiet, sleepy town and we made the most of the amazing walks around us in Mt Kosziousko National Park and enjoying the loveliness and space in Talbingo Treasure - thanks for having us Margie.

The house was a perfect base to explore the Showy Mountains for day trips. The kitchen had every convenience or appliance one would need, although much of the cutlery and crockery required to be washed prior to use from baked on food. The location was also quaint and a peaceful deck on the backyard. We were not supplied with the external sliding door key until it was noted the night before we left that we hadn’t been supplied with the key and the cleaner had locked it from the outside. It made a hassle everyone having to walk through the kitchen to access the deck. The deck was a lovely place to connect. The communication was good and the code for the lock box was offered by the host on our last night, which we declined as we were heading home in the morning. The female neighbour across the road abused us for moving the garbage bin to access the driveway, upon our arrival. The fireplace was lovely and the access to a laundry was great to keep on top of washing. Overall, a nice budget friendly place and we enjoyed our stay.
