About this house rental

*30 day rental. Please inquire. 888-799-6920

Come, Escape to Paradise! This beautiful secluded home is in the perfect spot along the Windward shore of Oahu. This 2500 sqft Ka'a'awa, air-conditioned home can sleep 8-10 people in 3 bedrooms and an open den. Planning on working from home? Why not do so in this Hawaiian paradise! We've increased our WIFI internet speed (200 mbps contracted), added smart TVs, charging stations and improved telecommunications. Beautiful, lush, and tropical foliage adorn the grounds. One lot from the water's edge and just a two-minute walk to the local beach park, it is Hawaii as you imagined it.

You'll have kayaks, boogie boards, 2 bikes and snorkel gear at your disposal. Go kayaking or snorkeling right in front of the house.

When it comes to relaxing and unwinding, you will have plenty of room inside and out with the beautiful, professionally landscaped yard. Stunning vistas and tropical plants surround you from every angle and window. Unlike many other local ocean front properties, the double pane windows and the foliage surrounding the home ensure that no road noise bothers you. Open the upstairs windows and listen to surf break on the reef. Stretch out on the 400 sq ft. covered lanai and let the ocean sounds lull you to sleep.

Located in the quiet and quaint village of Kaaawa on the Windward Coast, midway between Kaneohe and Laie (the start of the North Shore). You will be just 2 minutes from Kaaawa Beach Park or Kahana Bay State Park, 5 minutes from Kualoa Ranch and Chinaman's Hat Island and 15 minutes from the world famous Polynesian Cultural Center. You can also go hiking in the mountains behind Kaaawa, Crouching Lion and in Kahana Bay State Park. Experience Hawaiian living and customs at Kahana. See their Cultural Gardens and learn how Hawaiians survived and thrived from the Mountains to the Ocean Reef. Easy calm kayaking in Kahana Stream, one mile away, or in shallow ocean just across the street. No traffic...seriously...this can be a big issue along the North Shore.

If you are looking to have an authentic Hawaiian experience surrounded by ocean, mountains, jungle and beaches, Escape to Paradise is the place for you!

The Hawaiian Islands have some of the most remote tropical rainforests in the world. Nevertheless, like any moist and fertile environment, you may find some ants, mosquitoes, roaches and critters like little geckos that share this beautiful world with humans. To keep out bugs, remember to close the doors right after entering. Don't leave food or crumbs on counters or tables and avoid eating at the bed because ants are really smart and fast.

This home is so reflective of its name! The house is beautiful and we were greeted with island treats! We spent lots of time on the comfortable lanai, surrounded by plants and flowers. The backyard was filled with trees and tropical plants. The beach is a short walk across the street with a beach park in walkable distance. We liked being away from the busy city, but we could easily go anywhere from our location. The home owners and home managers checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. The owners generously let us use their numerous beach gear including kayaks which made it so convenient for us. If our travels take us back to Oahu, we will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in Kaaawa. If you are looking for an un-touristy, slower paced, family friendly way to enjoy Ohau, this is the way to go. The house had everything we could possibly need and was comfortable and clean.

Both the property manager and property owner were in constant communication with us. The property owner provided videos on the house, it’s amenities, and great attractions near by. The property sits across the street from a great snorkeling spot with tons of turtles, just a short walk from a great beach, and around the corner from an amazing cove that was great for swimming! The house had everything! Snorkeling gear, beach toys, paddle boards, kayaks, beach tents, life vest. We had everything to entertain ourselves for over 2 weeks. I hope to make it back to the island and will check this house out first if I do!

I loved this house. This side of the island is very mellow, I loved it. Hanging out on the porch is wonderful, the bed in the primary bedroom was just right. Lots of room, our family has a great time and the owner was very attentive. Thank you again!

Warm and welcoming property - we arrived late and the local host had put on the lights for us. Beautiful setting - watching the ocean from the dining table on the lanai. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Very helpful and friendly owner. Easy to get to the North Shore beaches and attractions and to get to Honolulu.

We loved our stay at Escape to Paradise in Kaaawa. Our daughter got married at Kualoa Ranch. The home was so convenient to the venue. We loved the open air kitchen and we were welcomed with water and chocolate and freshly cut pineapple. The location was perfect. Close to the North Shore and close enough to the freeways. Our granddaughters had fun looking for geckos and lizards and chasing the chickens. We appreciated access to their kayaks and goggles. The ocean is across the highway. The host and the managers kept in contact and were very friendly and accommodating. We to hope to visit again! Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family.
