Come, Escape to Paradise! This beautiful secluded home is in the perfect spot along the Windward shore of Oahu. This 2500 sqft Ka'a'awa, air-conditioned home can sleep 8-10 people in 3 bedrooms and an open den. Planning on working from home? Why not do so in this Hawaiian paradise! We've increased our WIFI internet speed (200 mbps contracted), added smart TVs, charging stations and improved telecommunications. Beautiful, lush, and tropical foliage adorn the grounds. One lot from the water's edge and just a two-minute walk to the local beach park, it is Hawaii as you imagined it.
You'll have kayaks, boogie boards, 2 bikes and snorkel gear at your disposal. Go kayaking or snorkeling right in front of the house.
When it comes to relaxing and unwinding, you will have plenty of room inside and out with the beautiful, professionally landscaped yard. Stunning vistas and tropical plants surround you from every angle and window. Unlike many other local ocean front properties, the double pane windows and the foliage surrounding the home ensure that no road noise bothers you. Open the upstairs windows and listen to surf break on the reef. Stretch out on the 400 sq ft. covered lanai and let the ocean sounds lull you to sleep.
Located in the quiet and quaint village of Kaaawa on the Windward Coast, midway between Kaneohe and Laie (the start of the North Shore). You will be just 2 minutes from Kaaawa Beach Park or Kahana Bay State Park, 5 minutes from Kualoa Ranch and Chinaman's Hat Island and 15 minutes from the world famous Polynesian Cultural Center. You can also go hiking in the mountains behind Kaaawa, Crouching Lion and in Kahana Bay State Park. Experience Hawaiian living and customs at Kahana. See their Cultural Gardens and learn how Hawaiians survived and thrived from the Mountains to the Ocean Reef. Easy calm kayaking in Kahana Stream, one mile away, or in shallow ocean just across the street. No traffic...seriously...this can be a big issue along the North Shore.
If you are looking to have an authentic Hawaiian experience surrounded by ocean, mountains, jungle and beaches, Escape to Paradise is the place for you!
The Hawaiian Islands have some of the most remote tropical rainforests in the world. Nevertheless, like any moist and fertile environment, you may find some ants, mosquitoes, roaches and critters like little geckos that share this beautiful world with humans. To keep out bugs, remember to close the doors right after entering. Don't leave food or crumbs on counters or tables and avoid eating at the bed because ants are really smart and fast.

This home is so reflective of its name! The house is beautiful and we were greeted with island treats! We spent lots of time on the comfortable lanai, surrounded by plants and flowers. The backyard was filled with trees and tropical plants. The beach is a short walk across the street with a beach park in walkable distance. We liked being away from the busy city, but we could easily go anywhere from our location. The home owners and home managers checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything.
The owners generously let us use their numerous beach gear including kayaks which made it so convenient for us. If our travels take us back to Oahu, we will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in Kaaawa. If you are looking for an un-touristy, slower paced, family friendly way to enjoy Ohau, this is the way to go. The house had everything we could possibly need and was comfortable and clean.

Everything was perfect and our family had plenty of room. The lanai was the perfect place to hang out all the time.

Both the property manager and property owner were in constant communication with us. The property owner provided videos on the house, it’s amenities, and great attractions near by.
The property sits across the street from a great snorkeling spot with tons of turtles, just a short walk from a great beach, and around the corner from an amazing cove that was great for swimming!
The house had everything! Snorkeling gear, beach toys, paddle boards, kayaks, beach tents, life vest. We had everything to entertain ourselves for over 2 weeks.
I hope to make it back to the island and will check this house out first if I do!

I loved this house. This side of the island is very mellow, I loved it. Hanging out on the porch is wonderful, the bed in the primary bedroom was just right. Lots of room, our family has a great time and the owner was very attentive. Thank you again!

Complete with all that one could imagine and then some, this is a top grade home and is run by highly effective, organized, and caring folks. Immense detail and care is taken to every detail, and all inclusive doesn't really even begin to explain it.... you will love it here!!!!!

Warm and welcoming property - we arrived late and the local host had put on the lights for us. Beautiful setting - watching the ocean from the dining table on the lanai. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Very helpful and friendly owner. Easy to get to the North Shore beaches and attractions and to get to Honolulu.

We loved our stay at Escape to Paradise in Kaaawa. Our daughter got married at Kualoa Ranch. The home was so convenient to the venue. We loved the open air kitchen and we were welcomed with water and chocolate and freshly cut pineapple. The location was perfect. Close to the North Shore and close enough to the freeways. Our granddaughters had fun looking for geckos and lizards and chasing the chickens. We appreciated access to their kayaks and goggles. The ocean is across the highway. The host and the managers kept in contact and were very friendly and accommodating. We to hope to visit again! Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family.

Perfect Stay
Couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The abundant extras provided and the personal attention made for a most enjoyable stay. You might want to advise future guests to stock up on food and beverages at COSTCO to save a bundle over the local grocery stores.

"Paradise" is an Accurate Description
This house definitely became a home away from home in a paradise setting! The owners and property managers were all so helpful and very welcoming. My family and I arrived to the house after dark so the first morning at sunrise we were just in awe by the beauty of the area and the views surrounding the house. We loved hearing all the birds and seeing the many butterflies flying around the many plants and flowers in the yard. The house itself was VERY comfortable and had great space for everyone. The master suite was roomy and had a great seating area so everyone could have peace and quiet away from the kids and noise when needed. The lanai was setup so you could really enjoy being outside (the pictures are very accurate). My favorite place was sitting on the swing, listening to the birds while I read my book. There are beaches very close to the house that are perfect for kids and small children. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and really appreciated the details and thought of these hosts. The house was well stocked with paper goods and toys and many things that enhanced the experience. The location of the house is perfect for getting away from the touristy areas of HI while still being in a convenient location and an easy drive to anywhere you want to visit. Can't say thank you enough for this wonderful, relaxing and rejuvenating vacation!!!

Hawaii vacation and wedding
The property was perfect and met all our needs. The location was beautiful and ideal for us, both for exploring the north shore of the island, and for its proximity to a family wedding held nearby at Kualoa Ranch. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed accessories and we greatly appreciated the extra amenities - the snorkel equipment got used a couple times. We also appreciated the prompt attention Rob and Hilary provided whenever we had questions. All of this provided for a fantastic vacation and family time together. Mahalo!!

A perfect house
I've avoided Oahu because I thought it's all about resorts, Waikiki and Honolulu. Boy, was I wrong. If you want piece and island life, this house is perfect.
It was the cleanest and best-equipped house my family has ever stayed in, and we do travel quite a bit. Kayaks, bikes, snorkeling gear, water shoes, everything clean and organized. We did use the kayaks because the ocean is right there at the end of the driveway.
And the lanai, ah, the lanai, spacious and clean, perfect for chilling or eating the food you grab from nearby Uncle Bobo's (seared tuna to die for) or one of the shrimp shacks (we preferred Aloha shrimp which is open all days to the other yellow one which was featured on some cooking shows) or poke from the Tamura's Market.

Much needed Hawaii get away!
Great location, not far from many tourist sites. Fantastic hikes within walking distance. The house was very clean and organized. There were many games and puzzles for indoor fun while it poured outside and many outdoor gear for beach fun. We really enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning on the large porch, listening to the wild chickens. Awesome views from all of the windows, even from the stair well window. I really enjoyed the large tub and shower in the Master bedroom. Nice place to relax. Overall, will recommend and maybe come back!

Multi-generation trip
House was great for all three generations of our family to relax and enjoy the comforts of home in beautiful Hawaii. This made for an easy spot to see all the north shore/eastern sights. My kids loved the toys, water gear, etc that made each day an adventure. We loved celebrating my mom’s birthday in such a unique and special place. Mahalo!

Lovely lovely home. Just lovely!
Absolutely beautiful property! The home owners and Aloha ambassadors are just genuinely kind people. Communication with them was easy and their recommendations for food and activities were right on point. The home and grounds are just stunning, right out of a post card. All the water equipment readily available for use is unlimited. The kitchen is so cozy and we loved making breakfast in it every morning. Bedrooms are huge and spacious. We felt right at home that we were so sad to leave.

Hawaiian Paradise
The home was beautiful! Very clean. The use of the paddle boards and kayaks was a great addition. The bay was about a mile away and not busy during the week so we referred to it as "our beach". The owner and caretaker was very helpful and quick to respond.

Oahu Getaway
This place is amazing! We absolutely loved the huge porch. It was our gathering place every morning before starting our day and again in the evening before bed. The owners thought of everything and provided all the essentials to help make our stay as comfortable as possible - including a nice note and delicious treats to welcome us. We did not have any young children traveling with us, but it was a perfect setup for young families as well. Tons of toys, krafts, and games to keep them entertained. There is one bedroom and bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms with en-suites upstairs. My family is still talking about this house and fond memories were made here that we will cherish for a lifetime.

We would certainly recommend this lovely home to all our friends and family. We were delighted with our choice!

True escape to paradise
The house was very clean, the location was perfect and the house was fully equipped for a big family. The best part of our stay were the hosts, they helped us plan our activities and told us about the best local spots, we felt like family. The kids liked them so much they kept asking why they weren't with us during certain activities. I would highly recommend this place to any family looking to get away from the madness that is Waikiki.

Fantabulous place to stay-truly accommodating!
My family of six just had a fantastic experience at this Kaaawa home. Both the homeowner and the managers of the property were extremely gracious hosts making sure we had everything we needed so that our Hawaiian vacation would be a success. All the toys were available to experience the island anyway we saw fit. I didn’t recognize until later that they had a roof top carrier for the kayaks to be able to take them wherever we would have wanted to launch them. That would’ve been nice rather than trying to make it all the way over to Chinamans hat on our first day! Anyway. Good exercise. The house was spacious, clean, and again provided all the amenities (towels sunscreen bug spray, water shoes, and even snorkel equipment) for us to use. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were comfy. My family and I were very sad to leave!

Exactly what we were looking for and then some.
Everything was perfect, couldn’t have asked for more. Excellent communication right from the start and throughout our stay. We really appreciated the tour of the property (even though we arrived late in the evening.)
What a great location, close enough to Honolulu but feels a world away. Close to a lot of the places we wanted to visit. We enjoyed the snorkel gear, boogie boards and kayaks. The only regret is that we didn’t leave ourselves more time or stay long enough to try some of the other gear.
Loved cooking meals and spending time outside on the lanai. We played board games and hung out at night outside until we had to go to bed which was pretty early because of the daytime activities. Loved the master bedroom/bathroom and the views of the mountains and ocean.
Thanks to the caretakers and owners for sharing this beautiful home, we hope to make it back.

Beautiful property with everything we needed.
Excellent property, excellent communication and greeting for check in, things couldn't have gone smother. We loved the property, amenities and location. Everything we needed was available. The property was immaculate, clean, luxurious and well located. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and offered great tips and suggestions about our plans. We couldn't have had a better experience with our family and loved that resources for infants and young children were available. We plan to return and have already recommended the property to family and friends.

Everything we needed/wanted and more!
This is an amazing property with the finest attention to detail we have experienced. Generous amenities abound (including fresh cut pineapple and chocolates awaiting us and well stocked personal care items in each bathroom as well as a basket full of bottled water). Our young grandchildren especially appreciated the well stocked variety of toys and books available for their enjoyment. This home is spacious, immaculate and highly organized. It was a joy for the six of us to settle in for a week and the location was great. We did have to drive to a suitable beach but that was manageable. The comfortable and pleasing lanai was cozy and quickly became our gathering space. We highly recommend this property!

Perfect stay in Hawaii
This home was the perfect stay for our family trip. With four kids and four adults, we had more than ample space, beach gear, and creature comforts in this home. Great finishes without sacrificing any comfort. Our stay was a week in Hawaii, and I am so thankful we chose to stay in Kaaawa and especially at this property! You are halfway between our two favorite spots on the island (North Shore and Kailua), and the pace and people are so much friendlier than the Honolulu area.
Not only was the home perfect and fully stocked, our caretakers and property owners felt like family. Any questions and concerns we had were handled quickly and like you would for your own family. I will never forget the time we had here, and we feel so blessed to have had our stay in Hawaii in the Escape to Paradise property!
Things not to be missed: North Shore (Shark's Cove, Food Trucks, Waimea Valley Botanical Gardens and waterfall), Kailua (Kailua Beach Park, Kalapawai Cafe & Deli), Kahuku area with tons of food trucks near Fiji Market (Giovanni's and so many others), Kualoa (Regional Park, Chinaman's Hat, Tropical Farms Macademia Nuts), He'eia State Park (grab some breakfast at Times Coffee Shop), Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail

Amazing Hospitality
We came to Oahu for a wedding on the North Shore. This house was perfect in so many ways. Beautiful surroundings from the ocean to the mountains! The house is incredibly clean and well kept! Stocked with everything you could possibly need. They leave little toiletries in each bathroom, which was a really nice surprise. We have stayed in a ton of VRBO properties and this one exceeds any others. The owner even textd is to let us know that the outrigger club he belongs to does free lessons for newbies. Super sweet! Hillary was so nice and responsive. We did not have kids, but if you do, this house is perfect, tons of toys, utensils, everything you need for kids. Lots of beach stuff too! I really cannot say enough about our stay and the little details The Stansfields put into this house! We will definitely come back one day! Paradise!!

Heartwarming house by the sea and mountains
We were all very impressed by this house which sits right between the ocean and spectacular mountains. They prepared almost EVERYTHING we would need for this vacation. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and lanai gave us great family dining time. The entire house was tastefully furnished and was clearly more than just a rental property-- we felt like guests of the Owners. Perfect spot if you want to have a real taste of Hawaii and stay away from the crowded tourist area. Highly recommended.
