The property description is spot on. The apartment is well appointed and extremely comfortable. Gary is a great host - open communication and great suggestions for neighborhood entertainment. It is a 5 minute walk to the subway, and from there less than 10 minutes to the Boston Common stop. The subway system is easy to navigate. I parked the car in our reserved space when we arrived and didn’t have to move it until we left 4 days later. I couldn’t be more pleased and would definitely stay there again. Thanks, Gary!

Condo was clean and we loved the rooftop deck. Close to downtown and had a cute mainstreet with grocery, coffee shop, and liquor store.

Highly recommend this spot. Gary was great and very accommodating. Will definitely stay here next time we visit again.

Location is so close to Broadway T, and that makes it so accessible to Boston. We were minutes from everything, and S Boston has much to offer on its own.
Place was clean. Communication was deeply appreciated. It’s a climb to the third floor with heavy luggage, but that’s a small sacrifice.
We would stay here again for sure.

The VBRO was clean, easy to access and roomy. The only issue was that the sleeper sofa in the living was VERY uncomfortable! We ended up just sleeping on the sectional instead of opening the bed. The second sofa bed in the office/bedroom was much better. But we had 6 adults and needed comfortable sleeping spaces for all of us.
Everything else was great, nice kitchen, plenty of cooking utensils, etc. The designated parking space was a great amenity.

The condo was exactly as described, clean, comfortable beds, within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. We stayed 2 nights while touring Boston with our kids. Gary was responsive and had clear directions on use of the home and how to check out. We had a great time! Definitely would stay here again!

Great location as described- roof top deck offers great views and picture opportunities! Easily accessible, & a safe area where we felt comfortable letting the kids explore independently. Owner was attentive, and house had plenty of towels, sheets, soaps etc that made our family comfortable. Most important - it was very clean!

Stayed a few days around July 4th and explored Boston and the fireworks with family. Location was ok but all the restaurants were closed in the local area so had to Uber a lot. Just before we checked in the owner said the only working TV was broke. He purchased a new tv and installed the next day which was nice. We were only there a few days and our travel day was long so we were planning on going to dinner and watching a movie. Couldn’t do that… then he also didn’t understand why we wanted or needed a tv vacation. So we had no TV for 1/3 of our stay. He was there installing the new tv the next day for hours. Felt like we couldn’t go back until he was done and that was not good. He knew it was broke I. The afternoon the day we we arrived. He should have replaced it before we checked in, not during our short stay. It was me, my wife, my 15 yr old son and my in-laws so the nude paintings all over were a bit much. It also feels like the owner lives there and moved out when we arrived. This is due to lots of personal belongings around and in the bathroom. Overall we didn’t really enjoy our stay and would not stay there again.

Vrbo host is very nice and effective communicator. Property is very clean, nice neighborhood.

Our car was towed!! The parking spot was not listed in the blue VRBO binder upon arrival, nor anywhere within the rental!! Needless to say we parked in spot 3, for the 3rd floor rental, and our car was towed! This cost $170!! Parking in spot 6 was only mentioned in the directions sent via email MONTHS ago!! Should have been reiterated on the blue binder AND on the refrigerator upon entrance!! Owner reports that this never happened before- tow company said they have a contract with this address and it happens all the time!!
Also, it felt like we were in someone’s home with So many pictures, mementos, knickknacks, and tubs of belongings all over! Hard to relax in this atmosphere full of personal items.

Close to everything and great price. Rooftop is a cool feature. Very well stocked. The decor was eclectic and entertaining.

The condo is exactly as pictured. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. It requires walking up three flights of stairs, but my wife and I had no problem even though we are in our late 60s. There was a grocery store and liquor store a few blocks away, and the subway is just a 10 minute walk. I do recommend using Uber, which I found quite affordable. Our host Gary was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a great visit! The neighborhood was very nice.

This is a very well-kept property in a three story-walk up. My four friends and I (adult males) really appreciated all of the amenities and cleanliness of the home (and two showers!).
I do want to call out that the owner is extremely particular about ensuring that guests are mindful of noise while in the apartment. I was reminded multiple times leading up to the stay that I needed to be quiet and that “the neighbors complain when [the host] has adult males over because they are so loud and rowdy.” If you are looking for a place to hang out and socialize in the apartment, I’d recommend you look elsewhere. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower before you go out and explore, you couldn’t ask for a better spot.

I selected Gary’s property primarily because of the proximity of the Boston Convention center (We were able to walk there in about 15 minutes!), but the access to everything in downtown Boston was also fantastic. We were able to catch an Uber to anywhere we wanted to go in no more than 30 minutes.
One small side note, there are 5 wall hanging artworks within the home that feature nude women; those with children or otherwise sensitive may wish to know.

I had a conference just up the road, approx 3/4 a mile to the Westin which is right next to the conference center. Place was clean and roomy, you can go to the grocery store or other jobs just down the road.

At about the same cost as local hotels we really enjoyed this unit. Close enough to walk to BCEC. Owner was easy to reach. I enjoy cooking so my compnay saved $$ and if felt a little like home and not living out of a suitcase/Hotel. We did had difficulty with the TV. The roof top deck was a nice place to relax.

This location was perfect for visiting the Kennedy Library, the Freedom Trail, and the airport. It does require climbing three flights of stairs, so that might be an issue for some.

House was in a great neighborhood, comfortable and safe. It was a quick Uber ride to the city. The stairs up were a workout but doable. Cozy place and comfortable beds.

This property was perfect for our group of four adults. The space is ample with two bathrooms! Decor is unique and modern with almost everything you can think of that you would need. The small porch deck and the roof deck are great for the sunny opportunities. We walked everywhere except to Cambridge where we walked to the T station, very convenient. The neighborhood - all the way into City Center was clean and we felt very comfortable walking, sidewalks and parks along the way. We had a great visit.

It looked just like it’s pictures. I was a bit surprised he would leave so many personal items around. But other than that, it was a good experience. Thanks, Gary

Gary was very responsive to questions we had. The owner has more personal items throughout the condo then I’ve seen in other VRBO places but it wasn’t an issue for us. The neighborhood is nice and convenient to food market, restaurants and shops. A short Uber ride to downtown. Best for adults.

We had a great stay in Boston! The condo had everything we needed and there rooftop was our favorite place to start the day and end the night.
