De locatie was TOP!

Locatie en netjes.
De sleutel lag ver weg. Maar als het niet geregend had was het minder erg geweest denk ik.

Location and cost
The stairs to the apartment were quite steep with limited handrails. One of our party slipped down them one morning and badly grazed his arm. The ladders to the mezzanines were also quite dangerous. We are all mobile and relatively fit, but had to be very careful.

The location could not have been better, we were so impressed. Its quite a stylish apartment and it had everything we needed. It was good value.
The only real issue we had was with the smell of the bathroom drains. They were really quite bad- and the drain was visibly blocked and dirty so the shower tray flooded quickly if you used the shower. Just to note- accessibility may be an issue if you arent fully able as the stairs are very narrow and steep- and 2 bedrooms are sort of mezzanines with slim ladders to get to them which I didnt realise when booking- wasnt an issue though

It’s very cozy and surrounded by bars and restaurants. (Also a bit noisy, but it’s fine for us, not very disturbing) It takes only 5 mins walk to the seaside. The staff who help us to check in is really nice and helpful. The checkin process is fast and smooth, with clear instructions. You feel like home when you stay there. There is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms with a total of 4 beds, a dining room and a toilet and shower. The facilities are quite comprehensive.
However, it is quite far away from the Antwerp central station. As we are budget traveller, we didn’t buy the travel pass in Antwerp, it’s not really convenient for us to carry the luggage to the checkin point and also the accommodation. It takes around 35mins walk from the accommodation to the train station.

Location. You're right in town. The location is absolutely perfect. Friendly and helpful staff.
The pictures and the reality are vastly different. If you're used to a bit more luxury then this place isn't for you. The towels looked like it should've been thrown out years ago. Basin in the bathroom has a massive crack in it. Lamp upstairs is broken. Stairs you take to the room are filthy, not to mention the entrance at the bottom.
This will work for a group of young travelers who aren't too bothered by hygiene or luxury.
In the end, it served its purpose of a one night sleepover.

Location and friendly agents
A lot ! The bathroom is full of dirt and black mould. Terrace although closed off ( even though mentioned on booking.com as available) is also dirty and eye sore. No curtains in the front windows, so walking around at anytime of day and night you are exposed to all the buildings across the road. Apartment is NOT clean. Catering facilities are non existent, only 2 coffee mugs when this should sleep 8. Not enough drinking glasses and I honestly do not think sleeping 8 in this apartment is even legal. There is no fire exit, unless you consider jumping from the 2nd floor window an appropriate fire exit. Door does not lock properly. Toilet seat is broken and the smell from the bathroom is shocking. What annoys me more is that going back 2 years through other comments on booking.com these were also complaints so why has this not been dealt with.

Central location with view of cathedral's exterior wall. Can control the heating in the room. Flat and kitchen was large but dishwasher was broken.
Host was late to meet me and the young man never offered to help a single woman with her heavy suitcase up several flights of stairs. No elevator. The beds were very uncomfortable with wrinkled, mismatched sheets that made me feel like I was visiting an elderly family member. The ladders necessary to access the other beds are uncomfortable and genuine hassle to use. Dishwasher was broken. The stench from the shower was unbearable - so pungent that it infected the rest of the flat which meant keeping the bathroom door shut was an absolute must! At check in, I was told rigid rules about noise levels, yet the noise from the street below - including crowds, buskers and late night music - meant a quiet night's sleep was impossible.

Awesome location. Spacious. Absolutely comfortable beds! Great welcome from the owner.
Low water pressure in the shower. The wooden stairs are sharp, so it’s a little painful to climb it with bare foot.

Location is perfect! Our host was very welcoming and explained everything to us. The house is cozy and has enough space.
The facilities (for example the broken freezer and bathroom sink) definitely need a little work. Also, the loose wooden stairs to the two open bedrooms in the living room are very scary. I would recommend a more solid stairs.

Location is great and the apartment spacious (depending on the number of people ofc).
Not very clean, spots on the chairs, tables and the bathroom floor. Thereby lot of chalk at the showerhead, burst in the sink. You see that many (student) groups had probably been there before. On top, bed is not very comfortable, cheap matrass. Lastly, the apartment is noisy, but that is something you can expect in the city center

The location is extremely perfect: just in the city center but not too busy. Check-in was smooth, all the facilities are in a good state; the kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, there're even some teas and coffee. The bed was comfortable. Hosts are so fast in answering and fixing any problems!
There's only one bathroom. It is not a problem for 2 people but might be a bit of a challenge if there're more people staying.

- Super-friendly host;
- Soft beds;
- Location;
- Free coffee and tea;
- Additional supplies are available: hairdryer, towels, shampoo and shower gel;
- Easy check-out process.
- All-hight noise on the street so for the sleep you can take just a couple of hours;
- Dusty floor and a bit "tired" condition of apartment.
