Ocean Park is an exclusive 96-unit residential development located on the peaceful north-end of Amelia Island, adjacent to Fort Clinch State Park. Historic downtown Fernandina Beach is a short two-mile drive away. There you will find many uniquely local restaurants and retailers. The Atlantic Ocean and Main Beach are across the street from Ocean Park. Main Beach Park is where you will find a putt-putt golf course, skateboard park, and basketball courts. Salt Life Food Shack has recently opened right across the street, also! There are only a limited number units available for vacation rentals. Most are occupied by permanent residents, or used as second homes. This is a quiet place where you can kick back and relax without worries.
Condo is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each rental so as to provide a safe, sanitized environment for guests. Housekeeping is taking extra measures since Covid-19 to make sure the unit is properly prepared and cleaned for each guest. Bedding, including top covers, such as quilts, are changed after each checkout to ensure each guest arriving has clean, sanitized bedding.
Our recently remodeled 1620 SF 3BR/2BA condo is located on the 4th (top) floor of Ocean Park. Over the past year, we have been continually updating the entire condo! The entire condo has recently been repainted, and the master bathroom has been remodeled in 2019 with a state-of-the-art walk-in shower and gorgeous new flooring, cabinets, quartz countertops, and mirrors! The guest bathroom was also remodeled in 2019, complete with a luxurious new Kohler deep-soaking tub, with large subway tiles and a decorative glass tile accent strip around the tub; porcelain tile floors; white wood cabinets, new quartz countertops, and new mirrors.
The unit comfortably sleeps 8. The large Master Bedroom features two queen beds. The Master Bath has a double vanity sink, large tiled shower, and walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has one queen bed, and Bedroom 3 has two twin beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware, bakeware, and kitchen utensils. The laundry room features an oversized Samsung washer and dryer; towels and bed linens are also provided. Another plus to this beautiful condo is access to an oversized (16x28) one-car parking garage. Guests have access to a beautifully renovated pool and hot tub. Lounge chairs and tables with chairs and umbrellas are also provided in the pool/spa area.
The condo balcony features a teak wood table and chairs and a spectacular ocean view--perfect for eating breakfast or dinner or just reading a book or watching the sunrise. The spacious living room features a 50' Plasma HDTV and DVD player. All bedrooms also have standard definition TVs. This unit is tastefully decorated with a soothing beachy theme and is the perfect destination for a beach getaway!
When you want to relax inside, we have super-fast high-speed WiFi internet (70-100Mbps down and 35-50 Mbps up). The condo association has two T1 connections: one for the North end of the complex and one for the South end. There's public WiFi throughout, but we have a router in our unit hardwired to the central switch that is on a private network. Netflix members can bring your Roku, Xbox, PS3, Wii, etc. and watch streaming movies and television shows. The plasma TV has is connected to Comcast 'On-Demand' which also has an extensive collection of movies and TV shows.
Be sure to bring your beach chairs and boogie boards for the beach, which is only a few hundred feet away. The island is full of activities, including kayaking, bicycle/scooter rentals, golf and miniature golf courses, parasailing, deep-sea and inshore fishing charters, hiking, jet skiing, snorkeling/diving, and so many more.
Note: Beach chairs are provided and stored in private, secure garage downstairs.

We really enjoyed our vacation and staying at this condo in Fernandina Beach. It was very nice! It was clean, comfortable and has great views of the ocean! The location is awesome too! The beach, putt putt, restaurants and a park are all within walking distance and the onsite pool is fantastic. Also loved being able to keep our car in the garage. I highly recommend staying here.

The unit was clean and well appointed. Communication with owners was timely and helpful. We were able to enjoy the pool when weather permitted. Nice to be near the beach and downtown. Our only disappointment was not being able to use the outdoor balcony during our three week stay due to repairs and construction.

Booked this condo for our extra family members over Thanksgiving week and so glad we did! Excellent communication from the host before our stay. The condo is well-furnished, in a great location on the island, and has the most amazing 4th floor views. Will definitely use again!

We had a wonderful week at Leah’s condo. The view was great, the furniture was comfy, and everything was absolutely spotless! The walk to the beach was easy, especially with the provided cart. It was so nice to have beach chairs, too. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks, Leah!

We have stayed in different condos at Ocean Park. Love this condo. The Master having 2 queen beds was helpful for the littles and the view. Absolutely wonderful. We could see the entire OP lake and the ocean. Leah was so easy to communicate with and she made our stay very comfortable We will be back!

We have stayed at the Ocean Park complex 5 times and this condo was our favorite. The condo was spotless! The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the cleanliness of all of the bedding & blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed. The communication with Leah was always quick and helpful. The view from the unit is outstanding. More comfortable deck furniture would be nice but everything else was perfect. Also, the brand new beach cart & new Tommy Bahama beach chairs were really enjoyed by our family. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Property was nice. Condo is comfy. Beach is very nice here. Lots of shells and shark teeth. Walk to the beach isn’t that bad at all. The town of Fernandina Beach is very nice as well. Lots of good restaurants. Tons of shops, etc.. Lots to do around the island. Beautiful state parks very close by. We had a blast!

Good location for a beach getaway and a visit to Fernandina Beach. Good view from the fourth floor of the ocean, and the pool area is nice and relaxing. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The owner is responsive to any requests.

It's a large, beautiful condo in a great location with a fourth floor view of the water. Sunrises from the balcony were breathtaking. The balcony had a table and four chairs for outdoor living. The condo was well equipped with comfy beds and furniture. The location is close to the beach and short drive to town. Master closet is huge; master bath and shower are large. Washer and dryer are new and huge. Sunsets from the back walkway were incredible. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the view of the north end of the island! Kitchen was well equipped, as we cooked several nights we were there. The plug in the Twin bedroom (closest to the door) worked intermittently. Also, someone kept removing the garage door key pad cover. It was on the ground 3 or 4 times when we drover up. (Weird) Everything else was great! Thanks for a great week!

Great place for our large group. Never felt cramped. The deck has a good view. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with anything you could need. There was a welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of wine....great touch.

Very clean condo with just a two block walk to beach. Not located near lifeguard stand but it was fine for our family with older kids. Centrally located to great restaurants and shopping. My daughter runs XC/TF and she felt safe to get in a 6 mile run every morning using sidewalks in the area. It was great having a pool to use too!

We loved our stay in Amelia Island! Leah is very helpful and responsive if you have any questions or concerns. The location of the property is wonderful as you can walk to the beach, restaurants, playgrounds, etc…. The condo itself is well equipped with everything you would need. We loved the pool and hot tub as well!

First time staying on Amelia Island. We loved the area. Very walkable to the beach and a few restaurants. The condo was very comfortable. Loved that there were two queen beds in the master. Very nicely updated. Four adults stayed and we had plenty of room.

We’ve stayed in this building twice before and this unit is my favorite! Great view, quiet, giant garage/storage - our SUV and six bikes fit with room to spare. Leah was very responsive from booking to our stay, though nothing was needed while we were there. Would rent again!

Nice and clean property but the owner failed to state that the unit has a Nest thermostat and we were not as comfortable during our stay. I reached out to the owner right away and she told us the unit was on a schedule and she could not change it. I understand not turning the thermostat down in the 60’s but no one should go to bed or wake up too warm which happened to us. We paid to be comfortable and we were not always comfortable. We have stayed at Ocean Park for many years and have never experienced a problem with controlling our own temperature in the unit we have stayed. Another issue that we have never had to consider was having ALL the towels washed and dried before check out at 9am, this seems a bit excessive. Other rentals required us to start the washer but not have all the towels washed and dried. This task should have been covered with our cleaning fee…instead we felt like we had to do the work of the cleaning crew. While we understand the needs for rules for a rental, this unit seemed excessive… it seems that past guests have ruined property and unfortunately new guests pay the price for that.
Nevertheless the unit was clean, and most of if not all appliances were new.

Condo was a large 3 bedroom with plenty of room to spread out. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen and very nice ocean view even a few blocks off the beach. The private garage was very convenient and had lots of beach accessories for us to use (chairs, beach toys, rolling cart, etc). The condo complex was well maintained and within walking distance to multiple restaurants, gas station, playground, skate park, boardwalk, public beach access, Fort Clinch and Eegans Creek (which is a good fishing spot). We only got in our cars to go to the grocery store and to the movies one afternoon when it was raining. It was perfect beach getaway for my teenage kids and I. Will stay again.

Very nice condo with a great view of the lagoon. Ocean is a quick walk. Told there was no wifi one day before check in, with no offer of compensation. Not a major issue, but an annoyance. Ice maker was broken. Again just an annoyance. Garage door opener didn’t work. Used keypad. Despite these annoyances, a very nice place-clean, nicely furnished, comfy beds, plenty of appliances, and kitchen essentials. Would definitely stay again and hope these issues get resolved.

Our family just recently enjoyed a week at Fernandina Beach and were very fortunate to stay in this condo. It is very comfortable and has an extremely well stocked kitchen. It had all the comforts of home. The complex itself is very nice and very quiet and relaxing. Just a short walk
to the beach and the pool area and grill area are very nice. We would definitely stay again.
