About this cabin rental
A 2 bedroom cabin situated in the quiet and scenic Chamberlands neighborhood. One mile from Homewood Ski Resort, and 20 minutes to Squaw and Alpine Meadows, this is a newly renovated cabin purchased in February 2013. Furnishings are all new, comfortable and clean. There are 17 windows in the cabin so lots of natural light and views of surrounding trees. The downstairs features include open concept living space, gas fireplace, spacious kitchen with new appliances, and plenty of space around the table for playing games or enjoying meals.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a twin over full bunk bed. The downstairs sofa is also a pull out sleeper.
The best thing about this place is the quiet, but if you need noise and entertainment there is a flat screen TV, home theater system, and WiFi. In the summer you can grab the shuttle or just walk 5 minutes to spend the day on the private beach, with restaurant and bar. We are also close to Sugar Pine State Park, which has great cross-country skiing or hiking. The West Shore has access for all of your winter and summer activities. Or avoid the crowds and come in spring or fall, a wonderful time to enjoy the quiet and scenic beauty of Tahoe. This is a perfect affordable rental for couples or a small family.

We happened to stay during a terrible heat wave and the bedroom situated upstairs never cooled down below 80 degrees at night. Nothing about the rental itself but because of the heat we left two days early. Also, as a suggestion, the sofa/sleeper downstairs was not comfortable for sitting. The kitchen was fully equipped Thank you

This was a great, clean West Shore place for our family of four for a summer stay. The location is about as convenient as it gets for Chambers--an easy walk. There are many great day activities within a very quick drive. I've already recommended this property to a friend and I would stay again. Thank you!

This was the perfect house for me to stay and relax before my Tahoe swim. The kitchen had everything, the house was fully stocked with linens and towels. The chairs and beach towels were so great at the beach that’s so close. Thank you very much!! I’d absolutely stay here again.

Great stay! Loved the cabin and the location was fantastic for Homewood ski resort. We had to extend our stay due to the winter storm and the host was extremely accommodating and considerate. We plan to come back here before the end of the snow season this year.

The cabin was updated and very close to Homewood Ski resort which was a plus for us. Only thing i would recommend is fixing the door handle its a little hard to turn at times maybe an electronic dead bolt with key pad.

The lake is within walking distance. The home was clean and fully stocked with home essentials (pots, pans, laundry detergent, cleaning products etc.) A bear paid us a visit while we were taking our dog out to use the restroom. He just gingerly walked by. Overall, great experience.

The location is perfect, easy walk to Chambers Landing, and they have membership to the Chambers beach which is awesome. In winter, it's a half hour to a bunch of great skiing. Loved our stay!
We loved our stay here. The home owners were easy to communicate with and were quick and responsive to any needs that arose. The cabin was fully stocked and the beds were comfy. Location wise, the cabin is within close proximity to the lake and many other Tahoe attractions.

Wonderful snow weekend!
We stayed here during our trip to the snow for the weekend and loved it. It had everything we needed to be comfortable (fresh towels, kitchen essentials, fireplace and heater, TV and plenty of storage/coat hangers for our snow gear) The neighborhood was quiet without feeling too far removed. The deck out back was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this property.

Sweet House / Super Clean / Quiet Location / Convenient & Close to Skiing!
Our family of 3 loved this home! Super clean and updated, as shown in pictures. Close to Homewood Ski Resort and plenty of space in entry to hang jackets, keep snow gear, etc. Not far off main road but super quiet. Would highly recommend.

Little Gem
We have stayed at this property multiple times and it never disappoints. Little gem of a house in a great location for exploring the area. Blissfully quiet at night for sleeping. Perfect getaway spot.

Fantastic lake home!
We really enjoyed our experience staying at this wonderful property. The home had everything we needed. The Netflix, amazon prime video, and wifi was a added bonus. The location is perfect for exploring all of Tahoe and the community is very quiet and nice. The hosts were great to work with and responded promptly whenever we asked any questions.

Time at Chamberland
We took our granddaughters aged 16, 16,12, 9 and there were plenty of things around the area to keep them entertained. Down side, the TV Netflix, etc wasn't working and the oven needs some maintenance..took for ever to heat up. Overall very enjoyable.

Our friends have used this home before and we visited often when we were camping in our trailer. We sold our trailer and this was our first home rental in Tahoe. The home was great. Perfect for our family of four. Great location. We had a fmgreat stay.

Our second stay and we can’t wait to come back!
This was our first time staying at this property in the winter, we’ve come in the summer before, the place is quaint and perfect for a family. The living space is set up well in comparison to the bedrooms. It’s great to have laundry as well! The amenities and location are wonderful, we would highly recommend staying here.

A nice getaway with a few complications
My friends and I stayed one night here and overall enjoyed our experiences. The property is well-maintained, quiet, and beautiful, and the check-in process was a breeze. I, however, experienced a lot of bug bites while there (at least 14). I don’t want to say they are bed bugs as they really could be anything, and none of my friends experienced this. There is a chance I may have acquired them outside, too; however, that was definitely a bit uncomfortable to deal with after the stay.
With that in mind, I still wouldn’t deter you from booking, unless you’re sensitive like me. You are in the woods after all.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the cabin along with our Lab who loved her daily swims at the lake and walks in the neighborhood.
Access to the private beach and pool is very nice.
The cabin has been nicely updated and has everything you need for a comfy vacation.

Perfect stay in Tahoe
This house was perfect for our family of 3. Very clean and comfortable and a lovely back porch. House is in a quiet neighborhood and is just a short walk to the Champerland's beach, bar and restaurant where two nights we sat by the water until dusk. This was our first visit to Lake Tahoe and we loved staying on the west shore. It's much less crowded than the north and south shore.

Great little cabin in Chamberlands!!
Our family of 5 loved this little cabin in a great neighborhood with all you need for a stay. We went up to Tahoe for skiing and the location of this cabin was less than a 5 minute drive from Homewood Ski Resort. We will definitely be coming back!!!
