About this house rental
Perched atop a peaceful, forested ridge, Panorama Lodge is a comfortable, 7 bedroom log home with breathtaking views of Mt. Hood and the Hood River Valley. Look out to a verdant valley of pear, apple and cherry orchards.
Great place for retreats, sport teams, and reunions. Our lodge is outfitted for flexibility. We can sleep 18 - 21. A favorite lodging option for reunions, non-profit groups, bicycle teams. Ask for a floor plan.
Relax on our full-length deck with Mt Hood and the Hood River Valley laid out in front of you. Enjoy the serenade of birds, quail and wild turkeys. You'll enjoy the call of owls at night. Gather on our large deck with Mt. Hood at your feet. Play bocce ball on our newly completed court. Hike or bike some awesome nearby trails with great views. Enjoy the sunset with a warm fire close by.
Yet we're less than four miles from Hood River where shops, world-class restaurants, brew pubs, art galleries and theatre await.

Be considerate of our neighbors. Please, no outdoor music or other noisy outdoor activities past 10 pm. Thank you
Mountain bike and hiking trails are just up the road and windsurfing and kite sailing are only three miles away. Ask about trails, must-see places and view spots. Lots of local information.
The entry has a set of stairs, as well as a paved entry ramp.

This property is absolutely wonderful! The location with its view of Mt Hood is extraordinary. Seven bedrooms so everyone in our family was able to have his own room yet be together in the spacious living areas and expansive deck area. The host is gracious and welcoming. The kitchen is well-stocked so we could prepare dinners for our group of sixteen. We all hope to return!

Our family stayed at the lodge after our son’s wedding. We had 12 adults and 7 kids. There were beds for everyone!!! Having a kitchen and two dinning room tables to eat meals together was wonderful. If we ever have a wedding in Hood River again we will be staying here.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful location and views. Perfect for our family reunion. We all enjoyed the large cabin, well equipped. Rooms are larger than pictures indicate. Lots to do in the area for all ages. Great restaurants.

We stayed at the panorama lodge on the weekend of our wedding. We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect. Right in between Downtown Hood River and Grateful Vineyard where our wedding was located. We had plenty of space for our guests to stay for the weekend. The views were amazing and Linda was lovely and very responsive. We will forever remember the weekend so positively.

This is our second time at Panorama Lodge. We love it out there, the countryside is beautiful and the house is big enough for extended family to stay plus she allows pets. This time there was a slight mouse problem though...but the kids thought the little mice were so cute. The owner was very attentive and brought us some traps immediately. She also brought us extra propane for the fire pit and fed the hummingbirds for us. We love it there!!!

This was a great house for our group of 10 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of sleeping space, plus some. Beautiful property and view of Mt. Hood. Linda was very helpful and gave us a lot of information that helped our stay. Kitchen was fully stocked. Two tables for eating and playing games with extra folding tables in the basement. It fit us well in every way.

We rent a place every Christmas to gather and enjoy one another. This was, by far, the best gathering place we have ever stayed. We walked in and immediately felt at home. The kitchen is set up for large gatherings and we had space for big cooking events and small gatherings. The view is breathtaking. Linda was kind enough to come visit and was helpful in every way.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful our time here was. We hope to gather again here. The house is just so warm and inviting.

I stayed here with 6 other friends on a hiking trip from Dallas. The view from the porch gave us all the "feels" and made us love the Hood River area even more! The entire place has plenty of space to spread out and each of us had our own room. There was plenty of dishes and utensils in the kitchen. The place had a lot of character and was very cozy and welcoming. Thanks for the great stay! We wish we could have stayed longer. You won't go wrong if you stay here! The host is really great on top of all of it!

Our group enjoyed using your comfortable house for our annual retreat weekend. We found it very comfortable, with everything we needed. We appreciated little touches like reading lights by all the beds, boxes of Kleenex, a very well equipped kitchen, nice string lights decorating the place, a very comfortable large deck with butane heater. We will be back.

We had an extended family gathering in September at the lodge. It was a perfect place to relax, visit and prepare and enjoy family meals together. The kitchen had everything we needed and two refrigerators were very helpful.
We spent a lot of time on the large deck looking out at the gorgeous view of the valley below. Hood River close by was very nice. The adult cousins had a fun afternoon visiting at a brewery in Hood River while the grandparents played with the kids at the lodge.
Linda was a wonderful host, very friendly and accommodating. She even mailed back shoes our 4 year old Spiderman left behind :)
We highly recommend and hope to return!

We had plenty of space for our gang with beautiful views and a great deck. The grands found many places for hide-and-seek, as well as sardines, and the adults had room to spread out or cozy up.

Linda was a fantastic host. The house is big, rustic, comfortable and the views are magnificent. It served as the base home for our daughters wedding and we hosted around 30 family and friends for a rehearsal dinner on the deck with the majestic Mt Hood in the background. We had 16 family members sleeping in the house, and with most rooms having their own on suite bathroom, the convenience was great. Best of all, it’s out of town overlooking pear orchards but just a quick 15 minute drive to downtown Hood River.
The house was nicely furnished with wonderful and interesting trinkets and artifacts. The bocce ball court was fun too.
Thank you Linda, your home was all it was expected to be, and much more.

The pics don’t do the Panaroma Lodge justice. Just breathtaking views. The lodge itself is also well equipped and tons of character. We had a large family reunion (20 people total) and had an incredible time.

This was a great location. The house is not updated but is serviceable and well equipped, and feels like stepping back about 20-30 years in time. The manager was gracious and helpful.

Really enjoyed this rustic family friendly home; very accommodating of our needs from ages 1-75 (19 kids and adults in our party). The views were incredible, host was friendly, and while the kitchen is small, it is made up for in great dining seating and ample fridge storage. (Plus a basement kitchenette). 10 minutes from downtown hood river and evening walks around the property were also highlights; we hope to be back!

We had 4 generations come together, from age 2-92, and the experience exceeded expectations! Linda was fantastic at communicating in the months leading up to the event, helping us to assign rooms & plan for everyone’s needs. My 92 year old mother was able to stay on the main floor & experience all the action without climbing any stairs. The older teens loved the sun porch. A nice Pack N Play was supplied for 2 year old. The deck was the perfect hang out spot where the view takes your breath away! No picture can do it justice. It really was very special. Thank you Linda!

We had family from 17 yrs to 83 yrs stay at this property for my son's nearby wedding, 12 people. There were more beds than we needed. The house has everything that you could possibly need; there are 2 fridges in the kitchen area and another downstairs, every kitchen pot/pan/tool that you would use, dishes/cups etc. for a crowd. Since we were there for a wedding, someone said "Is there an iron?" Of course-there was more than 1 iron and board. We had 17 people gather to eat dinner one night and there was enough room. Keep in mind that there are stairs for the upper/lower bedrooms that might be a problem for some--we solved that by putting my 83 year old mom in the bedroom on the main floor. There are 4 full bathrooms which worked fine. We sat out on the porch admiring the view of Mt Hood daily. This was a great place to reconnect with family. If you are looking for super luxurious accommodations, this probably isn't the place for you. However, if you are looking for a hidden gem that is clean and comfortable, with space for everyone, and plentiful views, stay here! You'll be glad you did.

The pictures do not lie. Linda's home is situated in a spectacular spot, with pristine views of Mt. Hood and the Hood River Fruit Loop beneath it. The home is spacious, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bocce court is a great touch. We loved our short visit.
