We decided to stop in Deep Creek to decompress on our way home to Ohio after an unfortunate family trip to Maryland. We booked Wispering Waters last minute based on the description on VRBO and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. The property was clean, easy to access, and a great location. We will definitely consider Wispering Waters again.

Our stay was quite pleasant, except for the steps to the dock area(very dangerous). I would notadvise renting if someone is handicapped! Overall the rental was very clean and supplied as stated.

We had a great time at this lovely property. It was a 2 minute drive to wisp resort which is why we booked this property. The size was perfect for 10 people. We really enjoyed the hot tub and views of deep creek lake. Would rent again.

The house was perfect for all of us. The view was stunning and the house was stocked with everything we needed. It was a bit of a pain walking to the side of the house to get firewood for the fireplace. I would definitely recommend a better bbq outside and an outdoor heater on the deck would have been awesome! The hot tub was low on water and was dirty but I called and Chad was out within 20 minutes to fix the problem. Very professional! Overall stay was nice. The driveway was way steeper than the listing described but we managed. Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely be returning!

The house was perfect for all of us. The view was stunning and the house was stocked with everything we needed. This place had everything! Even s’mores sticks by the fire pit. We loved it! Perfect for 2 families. We even saw bear. Renting the pontoon boat for the week made it a perfect vacation with teens!

Great house, clean inside. Outside was left a little messy (broken glass bottles around the hot tub and yard area, tables turned over. But otherwise all was great here and would recommend!

The house is in an amazing location overlooking the lake. Convenient location and easy to find. Parking not an issue at all. Plenty of space for 5 cars. Inside the house is very nicely laid out and the kitchen is very well stocked with appliances and cooking utensils. Hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
I would say the house is perfect for 8 people. Yes it has 5 bedrooms and all are super convenient, but overall the size of the living space is very small. The basement is pretty tiny. Once you open the ping pong table, there is not much room to move around. Also the grill was not very useful. Even though fresh propane was left for us (thank you) the grill itself is a cheaper model and wouldn't heat up over 350 degrees. That is not very hot for trying to cook a steak. We managed using skillets and oven, but it was a slight disappointment. I didn't bother to call, because we were content with using a skillet.
Overall, we loved our stay and the property. Would definitely return when the weather is warmer. Thanks again!

The only issue was that the listing referenced 5 parking spots; however, even with 4WD trucks, the driveway was way too steep to use, leaving us only 3 parking spaces on the road. We ended up parking our extra car at Wisp (< 1 mile away) and that worked perfectly. Check in and out was very smooth and easy, and I look forward to renting again next year!
