About this house rental

This is a new 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome in Poncha Springs. It is minutes away from everything! Fully furnished with mountain decor, cable TV, high-speed internet, electric fireplace, and an outdoor gas grill. Sit out on the back patio and enjoy the great mountain views! Bike trail is 20ft from the front door that takes you to Salida. From the bike trail, Elevation brewery is only a 7 minute walk away and Vino Salida is 5 minutes away! Grimo's Italian Restaurant is .6miles away and is a great option for dinner. Or visit the popular Hunger Shack for breakfast/lunch which is .4 miles away. The newly built LaGree's market is .25 mile from the condo and is an easy walk. 1 car garage available with second parking place in driveway.

This townhome comfortably sleeps 6 people. Master bedroom is on the main level with a a queen bed, an attached bathroom, and a walk-in shower. Two large bedrooms are upstairs. One bedroom has a queen bed, large closet, and a desk. The other bedroom has bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top and rocking chair. Both upstairs bedrooms have spectacular mountain views! An additional bathroom with a tub/shower is upstairs. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Monarch Ski Area is a 20 minute drive, Mt Princeton Hot Springs is 20 minutes, Downtown Salida is 10 minutes, and Buena Vista is 25 minutes away. Fishing on the Arkansas or at Lake O'Haver is 15-20 minutes. Downtown Salida offers shopping, restaurants, breweries, art galleries, hot spring pools, live music, access to bike trails, white water rafting, and Gold Medal fishing on the Arkansas river.

The accommodation was clean, matching the listing description and charmingly decorated for Christmas. The kitchen amenities were excellent. Communication with the owner was smooth, and check-in/out instructions were clear. . The neighborhood felt safe, and I would recommend the property to others. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay.

We loved this place for our family of 5! It was the perfect location for all the adventures we had planned in the mountains. It was also very clean and well stocked when we arrived. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Salida and all the fun activities it had to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean & well appointed (everything you need). Close to grocery store, hardware store (1/2 mile walk), brewery and winery. Everything was in good working order. Response from property owner was always prompt and informative. Would stay there again.

Really good house for everything that Salida has to offer. House/kitchen is well stocked with amenities. Only negative is the road noise from the high number of snowplows passing by the house during a night snowstorm, but that can’t be controlled.

Little Bear has everything you could need to feel at home. There was plenty of room for the kids to spread out in their own rooms and we loved to cozy living room to relax after skiing. Salida being so close made it easy to grab groceries or go out to eat. We love MO Burrito and 50 Burger was super tasty too. We will definitely be back!

The property was amazing. Instructions were easy to understand and follow. The distance to Salida as well as National Parks made our vacation very rewarding. As a bonus, ever with the light pollution from the town, I was able to take several photos of the Milky Way at night. We will definitely stay here again.

The condo was clean and well stocked. We love the surrounding area. It was perfect for our group. The only negative was the directions to the place. It would help to know the distance once you got off the main road.

We rented this property in June specifically because my mother lives in the same townhome complex. It was plenty of room for three adults and a 2 year. The 2 year old loved all the toy bears around the place. It’s an easy drive into Salida, and also has a brewery practically next door! We found the owner very helpful and responsive .

Perfect for a family ski trip to Monarch. About a 20 min drive to the ski area. About 20 mins to downtown Salida but there are local businesses and restaurants within walking distance of this house. Parking is a bit of a challenge, don't bring extra vehicles unless you want to park one vehicle in the garage. The owners were immediately available and responsive to our needs and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay.

We travelled from the Midwest for a week vacation to the area. Renee is very helpful with any questions. The house/condo is very nice and worked very well for our stay. It has a great location for activities in the area, shopping, dining, etc. We were very pleased with our stay and hope to return again someday!

This is a very nice little townhouse and has everything you would need for your stay. We happened to be in the area when it was unusually hot and humid (almost never humid here, but one morning it was in the 85-90% humidity range). So sleeping with no AC was uncomfortable. We had the windows open but the road out front gets lots of trucks so it was noisy. Other than that I would definitely recommend this property, and most weeks of the year this wouldn’t be a problem.

We had a great time. Our relatives lived within a few miles and they had a big barbecue for the 4th of July. Day trips to Leadville and Cañon City were big fun as well. Great location. Neighbors are very friendly as well. Look forward to staying here again!
