TN stay
The owner was excellent! Property cute and clean!! Only a couple of mild issues like the bathroom window has no lock, mild old smell in downstairs bedroom, and rug by the sink in the kitchen was dirty.

State Tournament
We stayed at this property for the TSSAA state tournament. I coach and we have a 6 week old. This property perfectly accommodated my family, my parents, and in-laws as we were in Murfreesboro for state.

Wedding weekend with family
We stayed in Murfreesboro for a family wedding at Carriage Lane Inn (a few blocks away) with our six kids and niece. The house is beautiful and was clean, plenty of linens and supplies. The only hiccup was we couldn't figure out how to set up the sleeping cot (we maxed out at 9 people), so my son had to sleep on the floor on a mattress pad. The house comfortably sleeps 6-8 people, especially if a couple of those people are children. Otherwise, we were very comfortable all weekend. Thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful home!
My family and I had a great time visiting family in Murfreesboro. This home was almost perfect for our stay. The 4th bedroom/playroom didn’t work for our family but we adjusted. One unexpected joy were the showers! Older homes frequently don’t have great water pressure. Both showers and the wonderful towels were terrific! We hope to come back for our next visit.

A nice little house
Shelby was super responsive and accommodating. He was willing to allow an early check-in so we could keep our infant on her sleep schedule which was incredibly kind.
The house itself is very cute and the decor is fantastic. Whoever decorated has an eye for great and interesting antiques (I would buy 90% of the decor in the house).
The only negatives I have are that the house wasn't properly cleaned prior to our arrival. There was a lot of dog fur -- including on the bed sheets and several of the drawers in the kitchen were filled with junk. I'm not certain if someone lives in the house or if it's an exclusive rental property but, it needed a much more thorough cleaning. Outside of that, the floors of the house creak -- which I fully expect (and actually like) in an an older home but I mention it only as a word of caution for anyone with kids who are light sleepers.
The neighborhood was cute and central to the area. Access was easy and parking was very plentiful. Were it not for the "fur issue" I would have rated it higher. Shelby himself gets 5 stars for his kindness!

Loved Our Stay!
This is a charming house with special touches. There were plenty of towels, sheets, etc. There are also plenty of supplies such as toilet paper, trash bags, and many other non-essentials. Shelby had wine for us, NICE hand soaps, magazines, DVDs, and other items which added to the enjoyment of our stay. The kitchen is nice and the beds are comfortable. Shelby accommodated some of our special requests. She is the best. This home is in a nice neighborhood, but close to many sites. The neighbors were friendly. I would highly recommend this home.

We had a family reunion for my 88 year old mother. It was big enough and we all enjoyed ourselves. Thank you I would stay there again.

Wonderful comfortable home with everything!
This is a great property with modern comfort in a historical setting and convenient location. More amenities than could be named; well stocked kitchen and great playroom for kids. We really enjoyed the nice covered porch for coffee and conversation. You can stroll to the square for great restaurants and boutiques and farmers market in season. Great for MTSU visiting parents. We will be staying here again for return visits with family.

Awesome!
A very quaint house that's close to everything. The homeowner is quick to respond, super friendly and helpful with information if regards to local restaurants and entertainment. The house had anything and everything that we needed including a playroom that kept our toddlers entertained for hours. Also the best decorated house I've ever stayed in! Two thumbs up, for sure!

Murfreesboro visit
The Young House is a wonderful place to stay in Murfreesboro, and just a short 3 block walk to the downtown historic section. I really cannot say enough nice things about the house. It is very comfortable and beautifully appointed. It was built in the 1920's so it has lots of character. Our daughter just moved to the area, so we definitely plan on staying in this beautifully restored house again. We loved meeting the gracious and friendly neighbors; this VRBO is in a truly special area!!!
