The listing clearly stated no AC. I was wrong for booking this place in June. We arrived after the traveling from MI and the long windy drive up the mnt. To a 90 degree home with poor ability to cool itself with fans. By 3rd night we had cooler temps and figured out how to place the fans but the bedrooms face west full on evening sun. Days in 90’s made for a hot 5 days and nights. Master bed was a crater bed. Not 0/10 but 6/10 crater. Kitchen had good supplies but cupboards all stuck. It would take so little effort for rental company to put felt on all the sticky edges of drawers and cupboards. Ample paper products and kitchen soap, salt/ pepper and sugar packets for coffee but that’s it. The place is tired and run down for the price we paid. I am very generous with my reviews but honestly- I’m suprized this house got so many high ratings. It’s no more than 3/5.

Bare bones cabin near Yosemite valley
My fiance stayed in this duplex in late September, and while it was somewhat close to Yosemite Valley, we were a little annoyed by a few strange things about the house. 1 - For some reason, there wasn't a single roll of paper towel to be found anywhere, and only one dish towel. We've stayed at around a dozen or so of these VRBO's and never ran into this issue before. 2 - There were exactly two bathroom towels, if yours got dirty, there was no washer/dryer if you wanted to clean it or get a new one. 3 - While this place listed having a fire place, there were explicit instructions that it is not to be used from May through October, which was a pretty huge let down considering the temperature after sun down dropped to around 40 degrees. 4 - If you want WiFi, you'll have to leave the house and go to the main office building down the street.
All in all, we probably would not stay here again, but it's ok if you're looking for something pretty basic.

Nice retreat in the heart of Yosemite
The house was super clean. Nothing fancy but everything was there. The location is the best: in the heart of Yosemite.. 25 minutes from Yosemite village, 25 minutes from Wawona. It s really a plus. With the map of the park it s really easy to find out. Will come back again for sure !!

Great spot for small family
Great house in small development just outside the border of the national park although you won't know you are outside the park. Proximate to everything. Sufficiently equipped. No washer or dryer but everything else you need is there.

Clean but hot
This place was clean and big enough for the 5 of us (2 children)
However, there is no air conditioning (which we knew) but thought we could open windows at night but there was no breeze at this location...also we were going to use the outside grill for cooking at night but there was caution tape all around it...so cooking inside was very hot! But this unit was clean, well supplied, and inside the park....close enough to everything we wanted to do...

Great location
The house met all our needs. We explored Glacier Point on our first day and Yosemite Valley on day 2. Spacious comfortable house nestled in the pines. Had a few minor issues which were dealt with in a timely manner by a very attentive office. Amazing response time! Thanks.

Awesome place to stay when visiting YNP
Stayed May 15-17, 2016. The only complaint I can make is it was hard to find in the dark. The property isn't located in a normal progression for street numbering. This should be added to the property location details and wasn't. Otherwise, we found the property clean, well maintained and there is a full size well appointed kitchen for making your own meals. There are plenty of places to spread out and relax after hiking all day at YNP. The bedrooms are a good size, and beds were comfortable. This property has two units one upstairs and one down stairs. We stayed in the down stairs location. Location was great. Thanks for a great place to rest. Would definitely stay here again if we make it back to YNP.
