We all had an amazing stay at Camp Inches! Jody was a great host- so helpful and gave up so many great recommendations. The house was spacious and clean- we especially appreciated the kitchen and how well stocked it was as we enjoy cooking! We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Family Vacation
We had a fabulous two week family getaway at Camp Inches. Jody was a perfect host and communicated very well via text- answering all questions and offering many great ideas for family outings. She connected us with a local friend who has a pony farm and our children had an amazing time learning to ride the horses. We loved nearby Newfound Lake and Bristol, as well as exploring the lake region and New London; but some of our best memories were right at the house. We enjoyed walking in the babbling brook picking out rocks along the property. We made fires in the fire pit and had s’mores. The beautiful lawn was a perfect run around space. The spacious porch was a relaxing spot to rock the baby in the rocking chair each evening to the sound of the waterfall. The kitchen was the best organized and stocked kitchen I’ve ever used on a vacation- it was actually a pleasure to make big family meals and felt like a home away from home (though mine is not as organized!) As kids will be kids, we had a few marks on the table and Jody was very kind to say she could fix it right up. The WiFi was excellent, good airflow with big French doors and fans and some AC units in spaces, laundry was helpful, trash and recycling were cleared for us- pretty much anything you need was there! We felt very comfortable and enjoyed some wonderful family bonding time. We highly recommend this lovely family home and hope to return again. Thanks so much Jody!

Great vacation spot
We really enjoyed our weeklong stay at Camp Inches. The house was clean and had plenty of room (there were five of us). The screened in porch is a wonderfully relaxing spot near the brook. There are also lots of other porch areas outside for eating and relaxing. I spent some time sitting in the sun on the front patio, watching a hummingbird visit all the flowers. The kitchen had new appliances and plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The location of the house is ideal as it's an easy drive to several fun destinations. We went to Profile Falls in Bristol and Newfound Lake. We also did a day trip to Mount Washington (took the cog railway up!) and another day to Quechee, VT. Jody was a wonderful host, as she was very responsive to any questions we had, as well as being a wealth of information about the area.
Whether you are looking for a spot to just relax or a home base to explore the area, this is a great home.

Beautiful home and property
We had a wonderful stay at Jody's home. The property was absolutely beautiful and the house had everything we could possibly need. We were able to visit many of the lakes, rivers, hiking spots and other activities from this location. The house is great for adults, kids, and families. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

This is the definition of vacation!
Camp Inches was pure joy and summer for our family! This is the perfect getaway house and location to get away and relax. We have 3 young kids and they spent hours looking for frogs, swimming in the water hole and exploring the beautiful nature all around. We did go hiking and local blueberry picking but the whole family just wanted to return to the house! It was the favorite part of our trip. Nighttime brought picturesque camp fires and grilled dinners on the back patio. The screened in porch was my favorite spot for morning coffee overlooking the brooke and listening to the peaceful sounds of nature. At night the porch lit up with tiny lights and was magical. Jody was super helpful with recommendations and I’ve already told all my friends this is the spot to go!!!

Scenic & serene
Jodi was a delightful hostess. We enjoyed getting to meet her & hearing some of the history of her home. Her home is on one of the best dirt roads we have ever driven on. We rented because of the proximity to the northern rail trail and the centrality to see both New Hampshire and Vermont. My son and I enjoyed hiking Mount Cardigan and Mt Kearsarge. At Jody’s suggestion we took an afternoon hike part way around Newfound Lake which was so peaceful. We enjoyed a easy 30 mile ride on the rail trail. Only wish there was a bike rental in Danbury but we found Omer & Bob’s in Lebanon to be top notch to rent from with a perfect pizza spot to celebrate our ride afterwards. On the one rainy day we drove Route 100 in Vermont then over to the White Mountains and even in the rain the colors were beautiful. The screen porch, even in the cool weather, was a great spot to chill and listen to the brook giggle & gurgle. While we didn’t spend our days there it would have been just as great to retreat there and rest from the bustle of city life.

Ideal Spot!
Camp Inches is a wonderful, homey spot for a getaway with family or friends. It is immaculately clean and very well equipped with everything you might need. The beds are very comfortable and the towels are fresh and fluffy. There are two bedrooms and a large living room with a full size futon and large couch that has a door that closes and acts as a third bedroom. There are also several other futons and couches on the porch and in another TV room. Five adults had plenty of room and never felt crowded. Jody is an exceptional host, quick to answer any questions and readily available with information about the house or the area. We would definitely book again if going back to the area.

So relaxing!
The property is exactly as listed! The place is super clean. The beds are comfortable, bathroom is large with nice shower and LOTS of water pressure. We took day trips to Cannon Mtn. Tram, Mt. Washington Cog Railway, Newfound Lake, Bristol, Laconia and the Northern Railtrail. It was nice to just sit out in the screened porch and listen to the brook. It was hard to pick a favorite room, but the screen porch wins! Oh, and if you cook - everything you could possibly think of is here! Jody was very helpful and easy to contact. A nice stay, we hope to return!

Great stay!
Our family stayed here for an end-of summer getaway and absolutely loved it. Jody was a pleasure to work with and her home was stocked with everything we needed. We spent our days traveling to nearby Newfound Lake, Mount Cardigan, Profile Falls and the town of Bristol. We even traveled a bit farther to spend a day at Santa's Village with our young kids. When at home we cooked family dinners, roasted marshmallows by the fire and enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the brook. We made many wonderful memories and are excited to return next year!

Motorcyclist Laconia review
We almost exclusively rent from VRBO/HomeAway for our motorcycle trips and this was one of our favorites. Camp Inches was exactly as advertised and stocked with everything we could possibly have needed, we cooked breakfast every day, and most days at night, and had everything we could have needed, including battery operated mosquito defense rackets, which we had a great time with. It is a hard cabin to describe inside, but Jody was more than willing to field all of our questions. It slept 5 of us with everyone having full privacy, two couples, one single in our case, it will sleep more, quite a few more, if your own door isn't a requirement. I went 4 stars on location/neighborhood only because it is on a gravel road. It is however a best case scenario gravel road for a motorcycle, short, pretty straight and hard packed. Do keep in mind coming in from other areas that your GPS will route you in over longer stretches of gravel, you need to make sure that you come in from Danbury directly to take the least amount of gravel if it concerns you. Parking area is hard packed, but bring a kickstand puck, it rained one night and we used them just to be sure. The mosquitos made it impossible for us to be outside as much as we would have liked, but Camp Inches has a beautiful screened in porch that still allows you to be right on the incredible creek running just outside. Quick note on the rally itself, we usually go "to" a rally once to say we went, and then revisit the area later to really see the area without the crowds. We would go back to Laconia during the rally as while there are crowds, we never felt over-crowded. Camp Inches is about 30-40 minutes from Laconia/Weirs Beach and we found it to be a great base camp for day rides into Maine, the White Mountains, and Mass. We got a chance to visit with Jody for awhile and learn more about Camp Inches and the local area, I would encourage you to invite her to stop in. We really had a great time. THANKS JODY!

Will Return
Thank you Jody for sharing your home with others that would otherwise not have an opportunity to experience such a tranquil and restorative destination. Camp Inches was everything and more than what you have described in your VRBO advertisement. Set on a bubbling brook amongst pine trees was exactly what we had envisioned for our summer vacation away from the city. Your home was immaculately maintained with all the amenities neededed for those on holiday who would rather forgo a motel/hotel experience, if I closed my eyes I could believe I was in my own home which speaks to how comfortable we felt. This is a special place for those seeking lodgings which speak to the familiar and not to the austere surroundings found in other dwellings.
Jody, you are a consummate host, from the beginning when you took the time to greet us and show us around until the time came for us to leave your attentiveness and approachability was so refreshing. It was heartwarming to hear about the history of Camp Inches and to know it holds such a special place in your own heart. It shows, every detail has been thought of. I commend you for your standard of excellence. We will certainly be returning. Looking forward to next year when we can return.

Amazing
Jody is probably the most professional person I have rented a home from. The house had everything it needed from kids games to EVERY cooking item you could imagine. The house is in a great secluded location and has so much room. My family had a baseball game on the manicured lawn. The firepit is right on the water and only steps from the house. There are 2 living rooms and so many places to relax it truly is a dream vacation home. I have been going to the area for years and never stayed off Rt 4 before but It only took 20 to 25 min to get to Sculptured rock or the Pemi River to go tubing. Thank you so much for the use of Camp inches and I plan on coming back real soon. Sorry if any spelling errors or run on sentences I am writing this on my phone in the car. I really wanted to give my reveiw since my family had such an amazing week. Thank you again and until next time.

Property was beautiful and cozy both inside and out - and so many outdoor sitting areas.
Most relaxing vacation I've had in a very long time. Camp Inches is so cozy and welcoming with plenty of room for my family and cousins to have space to chill wherever they wanted to and the great living room and dining area were both big enough to fit all of us when we wanted to eat or watch a movie together. I loved all of the various outdoor sitting areas and took advantage of each one - so relaxing - I even got to read a book which I haven't had time to do in a very long time. My greatest feature of the house though was hands down the tranquil screened-in porch which is where I slept every night and listened to the relaxing sound of the running stream - it doesn't get any better than that! And lastly but not least was working with and meeting the owner/host Jody who was so helpful and friendly - a true gem of a person! I definitely plan on returning there for another vacation next year and already cannot wait until then!!

Best relaxing family vacation ever!
Camp Inches property is in a beautiful setting along a very peaceful, relaxing babbling brook that you can see for a great distance in both directions. We had all the windows open and could hear and see the brook the whole time!
We enjoyed using all the spaces of the house and being able to spread out when we each just wanted some quiet time. There was plenty of room to do puzzles, enjoy a good book, play games, have a campfire, sit on the screened-in porch, or watch a movie or one of the many shows on direct tv. Great family time without feeling you are on top of each other.
Jody, our very friendly host, went the extra mile in providing an extremely clean, organized, and well-appointed home. So many little extras that make a place feel like home, without any of the clutter. Literally ever appliance and gadget you could ask for to do all the cooking, baking, and grilling you could want!
Jody was extremely helpful in telling us about the area, and even let us know where we could refill large water jugs from a fresh spring in town.
She was super-accommodating with our booking and in answering any questions we had while we were there via text.
Just to clarify, there are no other dwellings on the property. We had lots of peace and quiet and privacy.
We can’t wait to come back and especially enjoy the beautiful view of the brook from the super-large screened in porch!
Fabulous time! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Thank you, Jody, for making our stay such a memorable one!

Perfect, well stocked, rustic vacation home away from the hustle and bustle!
This was perfect for our family! Our first day, we enjoyed hiking through the woods and getting acclimated to the area. The weather was cold and crisp! The next several days took us to the White Mountains, the Green Mountains, and everywhere in between! Most evenings we cooked at home and enjoyed peaceful evenings. The well stocked kitchen, large family spaces and cozy bedrooms made our stay very easy. Jody was a true pleasure to talk with from the very beginning of the registration process through the stay. We would highly recommend this rental to friends and family and will likely be back! Thank you, Jody!

Quiet and relaxing home with a comfortable and well set-up property.
The house is tidy and super comfortable. There is a lot of room for kicking back and relaxing: a living room, great room and large porch, all with plenty of seating.
I enjoyed having a nice kitchen with all the appliances I could need. It was great workspace. I did lots of cooking. Oh, and a very nice gas grill, too, just outside the kitchen. It was kind of cool to have several tables for dining options. My favorite was the outdoor dining area on the deck just off our bedroom.
Outdoor areas were all nice, too. Spent lots of time on the decks (front and back) and enjoyed fires in the firepit out back.
The river running along the property was a nice feature. Pretty, soothing. Nice spot for a little hike.
Stayed on property all week, really. Next time? I'm looking forward to exploring the many hiking options.
BTW: Property owner could not have been nicer or more accomodating. Thanks Jodi. Oh, and really friendly neighbors.
