We had a good time. Weather wasnt the greatest lost power had a roof leak. We had a couple issues but the property manager responded very quickly. The entrance was a little concerning getting to cabin. But the cabins itself was clean. So dont let the turn onto the road with the unkept trailers fool you. Once you get to the cabins all is well.

Everything was supplied. I didn't have to pack any dishes. Everything was clean. Only issue was the shower. The angle on it made it hard to shower. I'm short so it would hit my face and not my body.

Cabin was nice - but did have a bit of a musty smell upon entering. Reminded me of a few hunting camps I've been in.
Everything functioned as advertised but it could use some updating (kitchen appliances were pretty dated and the plates, cups/glasses, and sliverware were mismatched) also cookware is provide, but again dated and mismatched.
The shower was small and bathroom in general could use some updates (especially the sink faucet and shower head) but again functional. With plenty of towels and washcloths.
The bed was comfortable, and appeared clean. The cabin in general seemed pretty clean, but the kitchen floor needed a mopping.
Overall it was a really nice week. Hot tub was definitely the best part. Very relaxing after some great hiking at Hocking Hills (which is an easy drive).
Location of the cabin was easy to get to, and check-in was simple, with the keys in a lock box.
Unfortunately, the neighboring property has a lot of junked cars, trailers, and other junk (literally looked like a junk yard) which you have to pass to get to the property. Certainly not the owner/managements fault, just a shame it's so close to the Blue Rose cabins.
Overall I'd rate this particular cabin (Oleander) a 6.5. It was a step up from a hunting cabin, but not as updated as most vacation rentals.
With a little more cleaning and a few updates, I could see this particular cabin being closer to the 8.2 it's rated on VRBO.

We had a great time! Very, very muddy!!! Had a fire and fire pit and area not very nice but we made the most of it. Didn’t have all supplies we needed to cook but overall it was a great weekend. Drove to Old Man’s cave to hike, easy drive.
Thank you! Great memories were made.

Nice, quiet, relaxing!!

The cabin is not very clean. The sheets had hair one them, the bathroom sink/faucet hadn’t been cleaned, and the kitchen was not sanitary to cook in. It was disappointing.

Lovely area. Cabin was perfect. Plenty of room. Secluded and quiet. Close to shopping and and falls. Hot tub was the cherry on top. Thank you for sharing.

The door sticks so be careful you don’t knock yourself out

We only needed a place for one evening so this was sufficient enough. The property itself was exactly as described, but unfortunately the inside needs a deep cleaning. I live out in the country so I understand floors having sand and dirt on them. The walk into the house has a sand type dirt so that is going to be hard to keep out of the house. That did not bother me, just be sure to pack a pair of slippers or something to walk around in. What bothered me was the dishes were not clean at all. There was food on the silverware and utensils. The stove had food splattered all over it as well. The counters were sticky and grimy. There were dead gnats all over the stove hood. As I said, this was sufficient enough for our overnight stay, but had we needed it for a longer period of time it would have been a little disappointing.
The location is super convenient to all Hocking Hills adventures and is really close to town so that made things easy as far as that is concerned.
One more HUGE piece of advice. Be sure to read the directions that are sent from the property owner to find the correct cabin. There are several tucked back off the same drive and it could be easy to get the wrong one. The directions that were provided were spot on and we found it without problems.

The common areas in the cabin are tiny. And the property before the cabin’s property is trashy and dangerous enough that is I would have known it was like that I would have never brought my family and friends to this cabin. Also the cabin may sleep 7 but the common areas are too small and cramped for comfort. The couches are uncomfortable. I have stayed at much better cabins for the price.

Okay for one night,,,half ate apple under the bed,dusty,...

Overall the stay was pleasant. However, there is room for improvement. We picked something on the low end of the price range so I feel like our expectations were realistic but a lot of the dishes and utensils were dirty, most of the non-stick cookware was unusable, and when we were collecting all our kids’ toys it was very apparent that the beds had not been moved and cleaned under in a very very long time. The listing was a little unclear on the fact that this was in a cluster of so many other cabins and I didn’t like that we could hear all the neighbors. We had no communication of the Check-in process before we got there and by the time we arrived at the cabin we had no cell service and just happened to run into a cleaning lady who helped us contact the owner to get checked in. There is an unpleasant kind of dump property really close to the cabin that made us question the area. Despite all of this, all of our basic needs were met, I was happy with the proximity of the cabin to all the things we wanted to do, and I loved the large dining table to play games and eat together as a family and the fire pit and hot tub provided plenty of entertainment for us.

Many items need to be looked over again and some changes. Grill did not work peoperly, microwave was chipped on inside, stove coil is broken on burner needs repaired, drainslow in kitchen and bath, wall in bathroom needs fixsed, old showerhaed need looked at.Cabin was good but some of these issues are due to antiquated items. Great value otherwise.

We wanted a little "get away" so we rented this cabin overnight. I was pleasantly surprised! It's far enough in the woods you feel secluded (in a good way) but only about 10 mins into town, where there's a Walmart, fast food, sit down restaurants, and a few antique stores. The cabin was clean, the firepit was a hit, and we enjoyed the hottub. For the price, this was a hit in my book! *NOTE: If you plan on visiting during winter weather, you will DEFINITELY need a 4 wheel drive vehicle!

Booked this cabin April of 2022 for a work event. I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews, since they were on both ends of the spectrum. However, this cabin hit it out of the park. Cabin was spotless when I showed up to the property. I did all the safety checks that you normally would and was very impressed. Host even included an extra cylinder of propane for the grill. Host was also very nice during communication. A highly recommended book!

The layout of the home was perfect for our group of adults and children. The boys loved the loft area. The hot tub was perfect after hiking. We used the fire pit to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. The only negative was there were no check out instructions.

It's a little scary coming in with all that junk at the end of the road! House needs a good cleaning, mold in corner of back bedroom. Lots of kitchen utensils but no big bowls to mix things in, also fridge doesn't have any holders on the doors to place things. We still had a good time though thank you

Location was very nice, super close to the highway and easy to find. Had everything we needed! Bigger beds for each person was a nice bonus!
