Spending quality time with our small family is very important to us and this cabin provided that homy and cozy feeling. The communication was excellent. We love the close proximity to the pier and far away from touristy area. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Carpets relatively worn and walls dirty, marked up. No grass in yard but a lot of debris and some trash, we found a lot. of ancient dog poop among the weeds, so if you have a dog that looks for that, it's a problem. Some old bottle caps and nails in the rear yard also with spider webs on the deck etc

My family and I stayed here for a few days of skiing at Palisades. The house had everything that we needed, including an outdoor hot tub which hits the spot after a day of skiing. Easy access to the house and a short drive into town and to the slopes.

Great size for our family of 3. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was great size and had nice appliances. Was so nice that someone had plowed the driveway of snow before we even woke up. Was a little cold downstairs, but the provided space heater worked well. Excellent location. Overall great place. Highly recommend.

The location is beautiful, nice neighborhood close to the lake and a few great cafe / food locations. Nice fenced in backyard and hot tub. Everything clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

We arrived after a fresh snowstorm! The driveway was plowed, but the road was not quite. Charming neighborhood! The house is well laid-out, bathroom upstairs and on the main floor. Because it was about 17° outside, we were glad to have the use of a portable heater. The hatchet was missing, and there was no kindling paper, so we had a really hard time starting the fire (despite my husband and boys being expert fire-starters in all kinds of fireplaces, stoves, and outside, and despite the thorough instructions in the welcome paperwork). There was a faint smell of smoke, and we couldn’t decide if it was cigarette smoke or from the fireplace. The coffee maker is drip, bring your own filters (they’ll work as kindling in a pinch!). The hot tub was a wonderful place to relax after skiing! Place is mainly well-stocked—plenty of fire wood, lots of BBQ tools, lots of pots and pans, toaster, microwave, teapot, extra blankets. As with any rental kitchen, bring everything you’ll need for cooking—oil, salt, tinfoil, coffee grinds and filters, etc., as you don’t know what will be available or not. Beds were very comfortable. The key-box in front was frozen shut, but we shoveled our way to the door on the side and used the code with no problem. If staying in winter, bring rag towels for snow by the door, or slippers, or both. My kids tracked in a lot of snow, even though they took snow gear off by the door. Overall, a good place to stay.

Great home, easy accessibility, our family with 2 toddlers had the best time exploring Tahoe and the cabin was perfect! Plenty of sleeping space, very cozy and welcoming.

Very nice, cozy. Close to everything. Read the literature that comes with the cabin, everything you need to know is there. Don't forget to lock the car at night, bears do come around, although you're not likley to see one.

Aaron has done a wonderful job of renovation...it was well equipped...and i especially appreciated his working with me on a reservation issue...it was greatly appreciated. The cabin, and the host...checked all of the boxes! We will be back.

The property was as listed. Welcome book was very helpful with household information. We were able to meet Aaron and he was very nice and accommodating. The hot tub was awesome and the fireplace heated the home very well. Thank you for the dining suggestions, the Fire Sign was awesome and the views everywhere were beautiful. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Aaron!!!

Our family had a great vacation, the property was clean and fit our family perfectly. Access to the HOA doc was really nice, our family used it for swimming days to get away from the larger crowds. The hot tub was clean and ez to use.

We had a nice time. Cabin has a good layout for small families with an updated kitchen, many sunny balconies, and a generous fenced backyard. We had a bit of a challenge with Wi-Fi but it was eventually solved. Also, be aware that garage isn’t available to guests. Overall we had a good stay in the great neighborhood of Tahoe Pines.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and walking to the pier in the evenings.

We had a nice stay. The property was clean and quiet. The water pressure was great in the shower. We did have a couple of spider visitors, but you’re in the woods, and the owner had plenty of bug spray handy. We had a little trouble with the WiFi at first, but got that worked out too. Great quiet location. Be bear aware, he wasn’t exaggerating! But that was also exciting!

Overall good vacation house. Close to the private dock and beach. Kids loved the hot tub. Worked out great for our family especially went paired with the other house next to it.

The cabin was fantastic! Lots of room for a family of 5. We were traveling with our two dogs and appreciated the fence in yard. The owner was quick to respond with any questions. Very close to everything. Loved the quick walk to the HOA beach. This cabin has everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Never being to Lake Tahoe, I have nothing to compare this location to, but for us it was the perfect fit. We were communicated with well in advance and had no issues finding or entering the home. The house and property were described and shown accurately in the VRBO listing and we got a well detailed list of instructions for how to use everything and what was expected of us prior to leaving. The house is spacious, well maintained, clean and has kitchen and bathroom essentials covered. When we were at the house, we played games, ate meals, and hung out in the hottub. The week we were there, we explored all sides of the lake and really loved the location of the house. It is close enough to restaurants, shops, paved trails and lake to walk to everything. There are two great hiking trails just a few blocks from the house. I would recommend this home and would absolutely look to stay again should we get the opportunity to take another trip to Lake Tahoe.

We loved our stay at this Tahoe Pines cabin. The home was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed for cooking. Being able to bring our 2 dogs was a big plus and they both had a blast. The hot tub was the best to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. This was a great weekend gateway.

Overall we enjoyed our stay....it was peaceful, clean and a lovely get away. Stayed in April when there was snow but all roads were clear and it was fairly warm. As long as you read all the instructions everything was simple. My only hurdle is phone reception was horrible (location had internet) and a land line so it was fine. ...
It was a tad smaller than expected but perfect for 2 adults and child. (It can accommodate way more as far as beds).
It was a beautiful area too...and since the snow was so high between homes we had alot of privacy.
We literally saw a coyote in the yard...it ran when it realized we were there ...beautiful! Very close to lake...snow parks...and anything you need except door dash lol....I would do it all over again. 😀

This was a very cute and cozy cabin for our family of 5 and dog. The location was beautiful, easy to get to, felt private, and was also close to a lot of conveniences, although we were happy to just stay at the cabin for our whole visit. The cabin was stocked well with the basics and everything functioned as expected. The beds were comfortable. The spa right outside the living room slider was a huge bonus we weren’t even looking for and thoroughly enjoyed as it worked well and had a great view of the snow and trees. We all had a magical time and would definitely come back for the snow again and for the summer too. Our stay included private access to the lake a short walk away but we didn’t check it out this time since we were happy to enjoy the snowy cabin; we would like to explore the lake access in a future summer stay. Host was very responsive and friendly. Great experience! Thanks, Aaron!

We had a great stay - comfy beds, well-stocked house & kitchen. Wi-Fi a bit spotty but worked for our needs. Instructions for everything in the house were really clear. Only suggestion would be fluffier pillows. Great, quiet location. Thanks for a great trip!

We stayed here during winter when Tahoe was having a ton of snow. The host was very kind as I checked in with him through out the week, as I tried to figure out if we would make the trip up the mountain. He also called us when there was an issue with the cleaners (and refunded the cleaning fee) caused by the snowpocalypse. He was overall very communicative, helpful, and fair.
The home is adorable and perfect for a family gathering. The bathrooms were all nice and updated; the kitchen was well stocked; the kids had a TV in their room which was a huge treat; and the hot tub and fire made for perfect relaxation after an afternoon in the snow. Also, this house is actually in a neighborhood, so walking him around the streets with my dog was easy, and I wasn't as nervous out in nature (but that's my own baggage).

The property was well maintained and convenient to several of the Lake Tahoe ski resorts. The kitchen was well stocked and even had coffee and creamer. The hot tub was right outside the patio doors and was great to sit in after an amazing day of powder skiing. We received more than three feet of snow in the week we were there - we did have to shovel several times, due to the amount of snow. The amount of snow the area had was amazing and made for a ski vacation to remember.

Average cabin. Master bedroom has an extremely stiff bed. Refrigerator smells awful (smells like they just used febreeze to mask up the odor). Hot tub takes 3+ hours to go from 79 to 90. Quite tacky with how many “you will be charged” mentioned in the Manual and messages. Overall, would not stay again and would not recommend to friends and family.

Great place. Clean, well appointed. Every kitchen gadget you can think of. We had a Q on the water heater and Aaron got back to us right away. Putting a star next to it for our next trip. :)
