Come enjoy the beauty and serenity of the outdoors at Truman Lake, Warsaw, Missouri. Sleeps 20. This home provides a great get away during every season. Enjoy boating, fishing, jet skiing, swimming, golfing during the summer. Go for walks in the spring. Enjoy the beautiful changing leaves in the fall and be amazed by the soaring eagles in the winter. Located in Teal Bend near Long Shoals Marina, we are just minutes away from many antique malls, restaurants and shopping. This nicely furnished 2800 sq' home overlooks Truman Lake with a short walk to the water. The home is finished in Knotty Pinewood and laid out on 3 levels with the upstairs overlooking the main living area. There are 2 bedrooms & 1 bath located on each level allowing guest privacy when desired. Large gathering areas on the main floor and on the lower level provide space for socializing with a large deck on the lower level. This home is furnished with major appliances including washer and dryer. Just bring the boat, golf clubs, fishing poles and groceries. Ideal for single or multifamily gatherings.

Holiday rates $440 (New Years/ Memorial weekend/ 4th of July weekend/ Labor Day Weekend/ Thanksgiving Weekend/ Christmas Week ) Responsible parties only, must be 25 years old. Rates subject to change without notice. Non-refundable Cleaning fee and security fees apply. (An additional refundable cleaning/damage fee of $100 is charged within the initial cleaning fee for excessive cleaning, if all rules are followed this will be refunded.)

We had 9 adults and 4 little ones. Loved the space and location. The owners were wonderful to work with. Well supplied and thoughtful atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!

The tiny view of the lake was wonderful from the main floor of this property. The windows let in so much light! The beds were VERY comfortable, but the double beds need to be replaced with bunk beds. We are a tall family and impossible for us to sleep 2 of us on a double. There was lots of extra blankets in the home, and it would be good if there were a couple cots. Very difficult to park our RV travel trailer on the property....they should recommend this not be done due to unlevel areas. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to meal prep and for large groups. Counter space was limited, but we managed for our group of 20. Handicap bars should be added to the showers and toilet areas for the elderly. We loved ALL the decorations in the house, and spent a lot of time talking about all of them! This was THE best decorated house of all those our family has stayed in over our 28 years of family reunions!. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had 3 couples, 2 singles, and 3 kids. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and sleep comfortably. Swimming access was just a short drive away. The downtown area is really cute!

Clean, well furnished home, open spaces with welcomed amenities. Could not find hot tub listed on line. One suggestion: over door hardware in bedroom to hang up clothes. Overall recommend property for lovely stay.

House was overlooking the lake which made for a perfect spot as we were there to do some kayak fishing. The host was very responsive and helpful in answering all our questions.

There was plenty of space for our group of 19 ranging in age from 10 months to 82. The accommodations were comfortable and had most everything we needed, even for our Thanksgiving meal. Lovely setting too! We'd definitely stay there again!

My family was all able to gather and stay in this home while visiting Missouri for a family reunion. Everything about our stay here was wonderful…plenty of space for all of us (19 people), a clean home (and I’m big on cleanliness), and a cozy environment. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves…the big kids played games downstairs, the little kids played outside, and the adults gathered to visit in the living room and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

We came with two toddlers, an infant and 7 adults. We had plenty of room and beautiful views. The beds were a little squeaky and not the most comfortable but they did the job. The backyard was perfect for activities and fires. Truman lake was calm and beautiful. We enjoyed our days boating. Highly recommend this property. It was close to an awesome winery that we visited for lunch one day and very close to the boat landing and public beach.

Very accommodating to our large family. Rustic lodging with 3 levels of living. Guests can walk down to the water's edge via easement across Army Corps property or sit on the deck and view the sunset and lake. The location is extremely convenient to utilize the nearby Long Shoal Marina. This is our second annual family trip to Truman Lake and this VRBO property and we'll definitely plan to stay again.

This home had everything for a really fun family weekend! We were a group of 20 and there was room for everyone to spread out or gather as needed. The location is very convenient but it felt so secluded. Betty was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this home.

Great time staying here. Plenty for kids to do with indoor and outdoor games. Hiking trails nearby we also did so location is great for us. Very clean property and owner is great to work with. We've stayed here 3x over the years and will come back!

Lovely cabin hidden off the highway. Be careful going down the hilly driveway, but when you get there, enjoy the view. This cabin has everything except a hot tub. The view, the DVD movie collection, the lake access for tubing, kayaking and fishing, the board games, the corn hole court, the firepit and every kitchen utensil you would ever want. 😊Great family gathering space. Friendly hosts.

We enjoyed our time at this lake house. The multiple levels and bedrooms were great for our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. One thing I would like to mention is that the the trail to the lake was fairly steep and rocky so my dad decided not to go fishing. Since the shoreline is very rocky it wasn’t the best for swimming. There is a public swimming place in close driving distance (it wasn’t free). Kayaking was fun (we brought our own) and it was very private and quiet both on the lake and at the house.

The house was big enough for our group of 18 people, with 2 refrigerators and plenty of kitchen space. Two areas to gather for a meal inside. Outside backyard area was big with space to play bags/cornhole. Host Betty was responsive, and refunded part of our cleaning deposit as promised, very quickly. I was not aware prior to booking that Truman Lake is a state park, which means no private residences are actually on the shore. Also learned that it is firstly a fishing lake. We are a family of water sports enthusiasts, so were looking forward to pontoon boat, paddle boarding, and kayaking. However, this property did not have easy access to the shore right off the property. It was a steep hike to get to the lake from the property, and the shore was rock & gravel. Overall, the house was just what we needed for our big group, but do not rent if you are hoping to access the lake for watersports.

Spectacular view of the lake with lots of room for our large family to gather for meals, games, camp fire, and a good nights sleep. The house was clean and stayed nice and cool even though it was 90+ degrees outside! It was really close to Truman State Park Marina and Beach, Long Shoal Campground and Marina, another State Park beach and about a 20 minute drive to Sterett Creek Marina. Warsaw was close for supplies too. We brought kayaks and used them at the beach. We usually like to explore an area by foot but it was just too Hot!

This home has plenty of space! We had 7 people and there were plenty of sleeping options for all. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Basement was a fun place to hang out. Tons of games provided for hours of family fun! Thank you for letting us stay!

Our family loved spending time in this beautiful home. We enjoyed the games and just being able to be together rather than spread out in a hotel. The views of Truman lake were breath-taking. Beverly was a wonderful hostess and very responsive.
