On a quiet street in Worcester’s Greendale neighborhood. Guests have exclusive access to entire upper floor and to the backyard (subject to yard maintenance), except for the shed.
Check-in access: Contactless check-in. No fumbling with keys; self-check-in is available with a digital keypad. We’re available for an orientation face-to-face or by FaceTime.
Parking: One off-street space is provided in your private driveway and is your private parking space. Plenty of on-street parking is available except in winter (12/1-4/30, from 2 am-6 am, and during declared bans), during which we can provide one additional guest parking space in the driveway. EV Charger is Wallbox 48Amps, charged with co-Host assistance and a $20 upfront cash payment; vehicles may not be charged through other means.

Cameras: Three security cameras in backyard record exterior of the home, yard and pool. A doorbell camera is on the front doors. Front security cameras on NE and SE corners. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting, or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and will result in full forfeiture of the security deposit and may, at the owner’s discretion, result in the guests being ejected without refund for remaining nights’ rents.

Our two week stay at the Zen House was truly magical! The hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful. They even have a very organized handbook that was an excellent resource. When we arrived there was homemade brazilian cheesey bread, which, who doesn’t want a yummy snack after a long trip? As well as someone to greet you and take the heaviest suitcase up the steps for you? Glenn was very kind and dependable. Was always available but never intrusive. The purpose of our trip was stressful - our only child spending his first 2 weeks away from home for a pre-college program. We needed a VRBO location that was close to his college and also was an anxiety soothing experience. The house and grounds were perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was just spectacular! Every tool or cooking device was not only there, but topline brands. The speakers throughout the house allowed for us to have relaxing music playing. Comfortably beautiful and highly functional. The backyard is truly an oasis. The pictures do not do the peaceful enchantment justice. I was working from “home” during our trip and being able to sit in the kitchen or patio and hear the babbling brook with small birds taking baths, the rustle of the tall privacy trees, and the gorgeous landscaping made for a much needed supportive and lovely environment. The pool was spiritual - it was well cared for and very clean. The lighting inside and out was not only helpful when dark, but set an atmosphere of warmth. Lovely!

Our son is going to WPI and we needed a place to stay for family event with the school. Overall we loved the property - cool decor with Turkish lamps, artwork, plants, and interesting gardens, home accents, etc. Every detail is covered including 100+ home manual, city guide, and QR code links on how to use everything. We loved the giant projection TV for watching Top Gun. We also played some of the board games as family that were provided. Convenient location to WPI, local stores, etc. We plan to stay again. Stayed here to attend a friend’s wedding and associated parties. The location was perfect and just minutes from all of the events. The house was very clean and had every convenience we needed. It was so much nicer and more affordable than the two adjoining hotel rooms we were pricing! Communication with the owner/manager was awesome! Glenn gave us several great recommendations for restaurants, and he was very communicative during our stay, checking in via text to see if we needed anything! I could tell the grounds and pool would be beautiful during warmer months! The dedicated parking was very convenient and well lit at night. Wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!!

We needed a place for 5 people to do schooling and work while my husband tended to his ill family member. We lucked out finding this pristine listing! It was cheaper than the hotels we had looked at and had so many amenities. The check in process was quick and easy and the communication was top notch. The home was beautiful and very well equipped. They had the heat running and everything was very well kept. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. Mr. Pape was very helpful and gave us a full tour of all the functions for all of the smart devices as well as a list of all local activities that were near the home. Lovely Jewel of a home
All was smooth sailing for every aspect of our stay. Communication with Tania and Glenn was superb before, during and after. The house well suited our stay for our son’s college graduation. I wish the weather was a bit nicer so we could have enjoyed the pool and welcoming outdoor area, but Glenn and Tania made sure it was ready for us nonetheless. Hope to be back in Worcester to enjoy this property!

My sons and I visited end of Jan / begin Feb '22 for a week. Our purpose was to visit family and play in the snow. We had a BLAST!!!
Words fail me to fully describe how PERFECT our week was at Tania's and Glenn's home.
The VRBO site was user friendly and detailed. I felt the price was extremely reasonable especially considering all the amenities. The photos are beautiful but simply do not do this gorgeous home justice. Its perfectly decorated, colors are just right, Turkish accents are so beautiful, hard wood floors are pristine, and honestly it felt like we were staying in a home from a magazine!
Communication before, during, and after our stay was great. From their written material, travel guide, travel tips, how to dress for snow, emergency preparedness, to their personal texts and emails we felt well informed and that these homeowners were thorough and on top of all possibilities.
Glenn went above and beyond with his generosity. He received our shipped packages, had the kitchen perfectly stocked for us, even the fire place was on when we arrived.
Everything was top notch, the kitchen appliances were very high end, the mattresses and linens were luxurious, music of choice in every room a projection TV that made us feel like we were in the theater, no physical keys to keep track of, every window scene was a winter wonderland, towel warmers in the bathroom, toiletries were stocked, a convenient, retractable clothes line over the jacuzzi tub, high end washer and dryer, they thought of EVERYTHING!
I can't even describe all the details. I was super amazed. I can't recommended this beautiful retreat enough. We hope to visit again. Maybe in the summer to enjoy the pool.

Wonderful
From start to finish Tania and Glenn have been great. Even helping us with food when our flight was cancelled.
The house is soooooo much better than the pictures. Well appointed and in a lovely peaceful location. It looks gorgeous lit up at night too.
We had a lovely stay, slept really well in comfy bed, the house had everything we could have wanted and more.

Lovely home away from home
We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay at this home. It was beautifully decorated, welcoming and comfortable. We felt right at home. The location was convenient and quiet. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, the very comfortable beds, and the projection TV. We did admire the river pond which could be easily viewed from the dining room window. Had we been there in the summer, we would have enjoyed spending time in the beautiful and peaceful backyard and swimming pool.

Amazing
The decor is outstanding. The yard is meticulously cared for. The backyard is paradise. You don't get this from a hotel. The beds are comfy, kitchen is huge. No cable on TV, you will need a laptop with hdmi output to connect to the projector. But with the pool and gazebo, there wasn't much TV watching going on. I throughly enjoyed my stay and if I ever get the chance to go back through Worchester I know exactly where I'm coming.

Private Paradise
The home was in a quiet little neighborhood in N. Worcester. It was a private paradise. The yard was beautiful with waterfall, Budda, outdoor fire pit, hammock, gazebo and of course the pool. The house is tastefully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed. I highly recommend!!

Great place to stay for the summer!
Beautiful property in Worcester with a great backyard pool in a quiet neighborhood. My wife and I stayed with our kids, 6 and 9, for 4 weeks in July and August 2020 to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors. We spent nearly the entire time in the pool, relaxing in the hammock and pergola and grilling. Tania was always friendly and super responsive to any issues that we had. There was a bit of a plumbing issue that affected us for a week or so, but it was eventually resolved. Overall it was a very relaxing and much needed vacation.

We used to have a house not far from there so we knew the area. The place was great and we spent many nights sitting by the fire pit with wine. We will definitely go back.

Charmingly quaint New England house with lovely updates!
We really enjoyed our stay and the house exceeded our expectations. Tania was extremely helpful and hospitable and responded to texts within minutes. The kitchen has an amazing induction stove and her pots and pans are super high quality (which one doesn't usually find at a vacation rental). There were all kinds of other unique 'touches' that made her house special and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Our trip to Wooster was a one-time thing because my husband ran the Boston Marathon, but if we were ever to return, we would absolutely stay at Tania's house again. First rate in all respects! Beautiful and Peaceful indeed!
Tania did such a good job with pictures that I needn't go on about how beautiful the place is too much. But it sure is! She has quite a touch with her gardens and flower pots both inside and outside. The amenities were terrific and her response to questions was by far the most prompt of any of the other half dozen or so hosts we've stayed with on other trips. We were on a long term stay and had the occasion to contact her, probably, almost a dozen times and she replied within a few minutes almost every time. Once it took an hour, but even that's pretty good.
We certainly appreciated the nice surprise of her TV set up. The reason you don't see it in her pictures is she has a SONY projection TV mounted on the ceiling that puts about a 10' by 7' picture on the wall by the door. And she even has a cover for the window over the door to make viewing in daylight very easy. And she was very helpful in getting our Roku unit working with it.
Since it was a long term stay, it was crucial for me to have internet service for my work and I was very happy to see that the wifi router/modem was in OUR living room. There was a brief service interruption only once while there, and when I rebooted the modem, it was working again perfectly.
The neighborhood is very nice and just four or five minutes from a lot of stores and services in the Lincoln Plaza area and within ten minutes of most of the city (two Starbucks locations and several grocery stores are within that ten minute radius, for example). And I-290 is just down the street so you can get on your way to Solomon Pond Mall, Boston, or points in other directions if you have activities outside of Worcester proper. It's just a great place to rest while you visit Worcester. Come and enjoy.
Quick note for clean freaks: no worries here. I've used five other vacation rentals in the last few years and only one of them was this clean. Most of the others were probably up to most folks standards, but my wife's are in another category altogether. And even she was pleased.

Good house, good location
This house was ideal for my purpose, which consisted of meetings with a few friends 3 nights to talk politics during the week I rented. I also realized it was an ideal location for negotiating Worcester, where the traffic is pretty bad. You can get around from this location very well. The house is lighted wonderfully inside and the kitchen and bathroom are very nice. The kitchen is well appointed with a fine induction stove and a really quiet dishwasher, as well as two disposals and a really nice refrigerator. There are also ceiling fans throughout the house, which was important as the weather during my week was unseasonably warm. One drawback in the bath is that it is a big "step" to get into the tub, making it a bit difficult to get to the shower. Another drawback, from my viewpoint, is that there is no TV available but there is projector so one could connect with your computer and view things that way. And, finally, the washer and dryer were not available to me as they were temporarily out of order. None of these drawbacks would prevent me from renting this place again, which I might do as I once lived in Worcester and have friends there. Tania, the owner, is wonderful. She is accommodating, always available as she lives on the lower level but was about her own business unless I needed some help with something. You can engage this place with confidence that your stay will be comfortable and satisfactory. And, oh yes, the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet at night.

A positive experience and more!
Easy to get to, centrally located to major attractions in the Boston and surrounding areas! All major interstates and train station are close. Loved the overall ambiance of the house, the patio and pool area so calming and relaxing! Gourmet kitchen was well equipped. Tania was friendly and outgoing and willingly assisted us with any of our questions or needs! It was so much more than we expected! Thank you Tania for making our Boston/Worcester experience so great!
