WaveHi! is a beautiful, newly renovated luxury condo located just steps to the beach! Our condo is on the 3rd floor with fantastic expansive views of the Atlantic ocean beach and dunes. Our ocean front deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic surf, wave hi to the dolphins at play and pelicans flying by or to idle the day away. Bring your binoculars or use ours for close ups of the dolphins, pelicans, loons, sandpipers, seagulls etc. We have completely renovated the unit making it one of the brand new interiors in the complex.
WaveHi! offers a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, brand new two full baths (super convenient for a family), brand new comfortable full-sized sofa bed, hallway twin XL reading nook/berth bed, new fully appointed stainless and Silestone kitchen, two flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom), DVD player/movie library, free WiFi, beach chairs and umbrella, programmable coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, new HVAC system, new convection oven, microwave, super quiet new dishwasher, stainless appliances, Keurig Coffee machine, high-end quiet ceiling fans, keyless entry system, and much more.

In addition to our beach front, our condo community has an outdoor pool (unheated), outdoor grills, basketball and tennis courts, pool side restrooms, and oceanfront showers, ocean front gazebos, and coin operated laundry facilities.
We are only a short 15 minute walk to the lovely, historical village of Duck where you can enjoy the lovely shops, buy groceries, eat at great restaurants and cafes, enjoy sound side sunset views by the bar, buy books and sip coffee at Duck Cottage, rent bikes to ride on the jogging trails, walk the sound-side boardwalk for bird watching, and rent canoes, kayaks and other water sports equipment.
Bring your binoculars or use ours to bird watch and get great close ups of dolphins in our surf. Superb viewing from our deck!

Such a wonderful time, and a perfect location to sightsee, adventure and just plain relax. Mike and Mary not only described the place accurately, but responded quickly with answers to questions. Great time of year for retirees to visit OBX, with the exception of a couple of high-wind (small craft advisory) days that meant we couldn't hang glide or parasail. Oh well, it's an excuse for another visit.
Probably because it was after kids went back to school, there appeared to be several units that weren't occupied - which meant peace and quiet.
Place was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Furnishings were comfortable, and the layout was fine for us two.

The location was perfect! Despite needing a good scrubbing in the corners the unit was comfortable and accommodating. Owners were attentive and got back to us with answers quickly to our questions! Will consider renting this unit again!

This was our second time at this condo and was as great as it was the first time. Great location and views are amazing. Easy access to the beach and Duck is a fun little town to explore. Highly recommend!

Wave Hi! is a beautifully appointed condo that has one of the nicest ocean views in the complex. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the furnishings are thoughtfully chosen. We especially appreciated the high top table and chairs on the deck which give you an obstructed view of the ocean. Mike, the owner, was also very prompt and accommodating in his response to our queries. Would definitely rent here again!

My fiancé and i came here for a vacation before a big move and upcoming wedding. The place was accurately depicted and shown in the listing. Fantastic location, perfect view of dolphins from the balcony and had all the kitchen items needed. Duck is charming, clean, has food and nightlife, but not crazy. Fantastic communication with the owners and great check in/out info. We’d absolutely come back!

Lovely condo in a great location with a fantastic view! Nicely decorated and very clean.
My only cons were the bed was a little too soft and noisy for my comfort and there was barely enough toilet paper for the first day.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would love to visit Duck again.

The unit was a perfect spot for a small group. Very cute on the inside and the best view you could ask for of the ocean. We went at the perfect time of year (May): quiet, few people, and great beach weather. The condo was well stocked, and the owners responded to my pre-trip queries quickly. We hope to come back!

Had a wonderful stay. This unit is on the top floor (3rd) and about as close to the ocean as one can get. Awesome having the balcony door open and hearing the waves all day. Very clean; kitchen had everything I needed. Check-in could not be easier. I will be back!

This is our 4th time staying at Wave Hi in either October or November. We go then because it's less crowded and peace is what we're seeking! The dolphins were more active than ever, sometimes coming in pods of 6-8, and Wave Hi has the perfect view! Looking through binoculars provided by the hosts, we even saw a whale! The condo is clean, comfortable, and pretty, and has everything you need! Except an elevator, darn it!

This was my first visit to the Outer Banks and I will definitely return. The location of Wave Hi is perfect. It's a bit removed from the true touristy areas, which I definitely appreciate, but remains close enough to do all the things. I enjoyed a visit to the Wright Bros Memorial and the Currituck Light House. I had a couple of rainy days and a holiday but as the saying goes: a rainy day at the beach is better the any day anywhere else.

My husband and I just stayed here for the second time and we will definitely be back. We first picked this place for our honeymoon 2 years ago and had to book again. It has the best view of the ocean from the deck. Very comfortable and cozy. Would highly recommend!

The unobstructed view of the beach from this unit is fantastic. The condo is clearly well-maintained and adequately stocked. We enjoyed our time visiting the Outer Banks. The only drawback is that sheets and towels are not provided as they are in most short-term rentals.

This property was awesome! immaculate, well appointed, and the view was unmatched in all of the properties near the water I have stayed in OBX. Mike, the owner was so responsive and personable! The only reason for four instead of five stars is there was a cigarette smoke in the air at some point each day, and when we got home to unpack found that it was in our clothes as well. I don't know if that was from the next door neighbor or through the vents. And the pull out couch could have had a bit more padding, although pull outs are never truly comfortable.
Overall though, you can't go wrong with this ocean front property for the price and the customer service!

First time staying in Duck. Wave Hi was a great place. Right on the ocean. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area. Third floor was great for viewing the ocean and beach. Mike and Mary responded quickly to our questions. Just the right size for two people. Bed very comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked. All in all great experience staying at Wave Hi.

We stayed at Wave Hi! For two weeks. Its oceanfront location is perfect for the beach and for walking to Duck. Since we were there in the fall, the complex was quiet—only couples and a few young families with preschoolers.
The condo itself was very well-equipped with all the cooking equipment and small appliances you could need. The bed was a little soft for us, but we got used to it.
We didn’t use the pool or the playground. I never saw anyone playing tennis except us. The courts are in pretty good condition.
We were there during tropical storm Ophelia with sustained winds of 35mph and much higher gusts for about two days. We could definitely feel the building swaying a bit and the wind was super loud, but there was no damage at all except extra pine cones in the parking lot.
Overall a great spot for a beach getaway.

This is our second year of staying at this unit. It's well maintained, great views, and a close in parking space. Easy communication with the owners. It is a 3rd floor walk-up with 6 flights of stairs, so it's good to plan comings and goings.

Was not a fan of having to bring our own linens/towels or having to vacuum the property before we left. Otherwise, the owners were very informative and responsive.

We chose WaveHi! for our Honeymoon in May '23, and had an awesome time. The location just outside of town was perfect - peace and quiet, yet convenient to restaurants and shopping, and not to far from activites such as a kayak tour of the Alligator river (!). The condo being on the third level meant a lot of steps up, but the view was well worth the workout. The condo itself was just the right size for two - not too big and not too small. Clean, neat and tastefully decorated. We even went to Ikea and got the same set of dishes when we got home, lol! I'm sure we'll be back sometime in the future!

We spent five wonderful days during our easter holidays in WaveHi and enjoyed every moment. Everything was as described and there were even beach chairs which we used a lot (we come from Germany and could not bring our owns).

Great location & unit being top floor & front of the building. You do have to tidy up yourself but saves some $ on cleaning fees. Decor was slightly different than pictured but not a huge deal.

Cobwebs on the ceiling in the bedroom look fierce, needs a serious vacuum under the couch and behind the TV stand,
looked under the bed and found all kinds of mess, shower had a wonderful clump of long black hair..
This place needs a thorough cleaning!
