About this apartment rental
Located in the Historic Helena Hotel. Loft completed in April of 2016. Building built as a hotel in 1910, but now converted to lofts. A 4.5 year renovation undertaken by family of designers. Perfect location for nightlife, dining, art galleries, etc...
Historic 25th Street was one of the most lawless streets in the country at one time. Brothels, opium dens and speak-easy's occupied most of the buildings. Even Al Capone was noted as saying Notorious Two-Bit Street was too wild for him. Now H25 boasts scores of independent restaurants, bars, art galleries, etc... And all just 25 minutes from some of the best skiing imaginable.

First, I’d like to say that the property manager was very responsive to all my questions. However, I was not a fan of this property. It has an industrial design, which is fine, except that the entire floor is concrete, the sinks are so small you cannot wash your face without getting water all over the floor, the showers do not have full coverage so water gets all over the floor every time you shower, and the furniture is very cheap and not very comfortable. I might’ve been OK with this except that one of the evenings when I got out of bed to use the bathroom the foundation of the bed holding the mattress fell off the frame. I had to lift up the mattress and fix this myself at 2:30 AM. Also, there are several bars outside, so there is a lot of noise until late at night on the weekends. I’m sure this would be fun for people who are younger and like to go out at night. My final complaint is that the property manager should make people aware that there are 39 steps you have to walk up to get into the apartment. There is no elevator.

Cool place. Some late night noise on the weekends at 2 am when bars and clubs let out. Other than that I was happy!

First off, Jared is excellent. He responded rapidly, helped with my questions, and had a range of restaurant tips that we followed and which were right on the money.
The place itself is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Great layout. 100% clean throughout. Lots of closet space. Kitchen appliances and accessories top notch. Bedrooms and bathrooms were good size and linens were first rate. And although we didn’t use them, it’s always nice when a place has a washer and dryer.
Would I stay here again? I’m torn. The location is amazing for navigating Ogden and getting to Powder and Snowbasin. Can’t beat it- walking distance to restaurants, parking in back if you have a car, very convenient to everything. However, while you may not equate Ogden with any ‘nightlife’, what there is of it sounds like it takes place right below you.
Our stay included a Friday and Saturday night. There was street noise and people noise from the very happening bar/club on the corner. And last call is at 1:00 am. If you are younger you’ll probably love that. If you’re interested in getting up early to hit first chair, not so much.
So overall fantastic place and host, but one negative to consider.

The loft was perfect for our stay in Ogden. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, good restaurants across the street and easy drive to skiing at Snowbasin and Powder. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great vacation rental! The modern interior layout and decor was very nicely done. It’s was very clean, comfortable, lots of open space, the beds were perfect, slept like a baby, and the parking was easily accessed. The location was awesome and allowed us to experience and explore Ogden’s cuisine and nightlife. The property manager was great and on point with communications. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting or working in the Ogden area. I will definitely be looking to stay there again on my next trip to Ogden.

We loved the location and the actual apartment. Our real problem was that the apartment is advertised as being able to accommodate eight people but it is not really equipped for eight people unless you intend to eat out for every meal. Our party of seven stayed in the apartment for five nights. There were not enough dinner plates, cups, bowls, pots, pans, cutting boards, towels etc. for us to use. If there had been four or five of us we might have managed but we landed up having to purchase disposable plates and cups for the duration of our stay and cooking in the kitchen was a perpetual struggle. The two pull-out futons in the living room are also pretty hard and a little uncomfortable to sleep on. Having said that, the apartment is conveniently located to all the action on historic 25th street and we did enjoy our stay.

Stayed 3 nights for a weekend concert at the amphitheater. We arrived and the place was spotless! Everything we needed was available in the condo. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Jared is very helpful and super easy to work with.
Thanks for a great weekend!
