About this house rental

Romantic private, sunny house, perfect for a couple wishing to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. Trails are accessible directly from the house.

Downtown Mill Valley, with a movie theater, shops and restaurants, is a 5 minute drive or a beautiful 15 minute walk. Sausalito and San Francisco are respectively 15 and 30 minutes away.

Sonoma and Napa Valley (wine country) are one hour north, and the beaches are a only a 30 minute drive. There are various fitness centers and yoga studios in Mill Valley as well as a golf course and tennis courts. For stays of 28 days or longer there is no tax, however we require one cleaning mid-stay paid for by renter.

We had a wonderful and memorable vacation in this home! The location was perfect, the view from the deck was incredible, and the home was well furnished, organized, artful, and clean. The property manager was excellent. She kept us informed and was very helpful and responsive. We will absolutely keep this home in mind next time we are staying north of the bay area.

Overall fantastic visit. Amazing treetop views of SanFrancisco and the Bay. Home is light filled, chic and so comfortable with wonderful amenities for cooking etc. the drive up to the home a bit tricky for those not familiar with the narrow curves /one lane passing but worth it to reach such a soothing and relaxing. The support from the property manager terrific and so helpful. We loved our visit and hope to return again.

Our stay at this property was amazing. The views were incredible, the kitchen was well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. We live in SF and had to temporality move while our apartment was doing construction and we found our home away from home! Highly recommend!!

Everything about this wonderful place works for us. Love the spectacular view of the San Francisco skyline In the far distance. it is peaceful and quiet but also is close to the center of Mill Valley with all its amenities.

Our experience could not have been any better. The house, the furnishings, the location, even the weather was perfect. Had the opportunity to meet the owner and interact with her several times, what a delight and a plus to the experience.Our stay was for a total of 6 weeks, the perfect way to spend a summer.

Loved the location, great walking access to the miles of criss crossing fire roads that link to Mt Tam. Short distance into downtown Mill Valley, but a very steep uphill climb coming back, we mostly drove. House is well equipped for 2, loved the sweeping views with SF clearly seen in the distance. We were here in the winter so couldn’t enjoy the big deck, it must be lovely in warmer months. Very comfortable amount of space, nice decor. Highly reccomend!

We enjoyed our stay in Mill Valley at this house which is accurately described and perfectly located to enjoy all that SF and MV offers. If you can manage the streets, steps and paths of MV, the house is ideally located. We spent most of our time outdoors on trails, in wine country and SF. When you are back indoors, you feel like you’re still outdoors bc of the windows and views. Very responsive hosts with fabulous book of notes on house and recommendations. Everything worked in the house.

Overall the experience was seamless. Location and view were our top favorites. A perfect dwelling for relaxation, getting around the Bay Area, and proximity to countless hikes helped to make our stay so memorable. The view from the terrace showcases the bay below and the SF cityscape in the distance. Amazing sunrises!!

We come to Millvalley every Christmas to visit our daughter and her family. We love staying at Eleonara’s beautiful home. It is well located for downtown Millvalley. Also, you can hike out the front door. We loved it.

My wife and I had 11 amazing days in this Hillside home. With views of the mountains and views of the city seating outside never became mundane. Even the beauty of watching the fog roll.in over the hills was a treat. We love to hike, we love quirkness, we love great food. The location and home offered that in spades. This home or location isn't for everyone. The town is built into a hill so be ready for hills! But if you are healthy and active it's a must.

The home and view are beautiful and spectacular. We loved all the original art, books and upscale finishes. If you book this slice of heaven, pack light. There are loads of stairs to reach the house but it’s worth the effort!!!Elinora was a responsive and kind host. We had no issues with the house and only worked with her on logistics.

An elegant home with a great deck with a great view of SanFrancisco and surrounding areas. It was a very comfortable home with great space for us. Enjoyed having a desk to use with it’s own stunning view. Plentiful closet space in the bedroom. Lots of glass so the home is bright and open. Well stocked with anything you would need.

Beautiful setting and furnishings. Really enjoyed our stay as the place was very comfortable and well stocked.. The only draw back was the reluctance to keep filling the outdoor tub due to the drought circumstances. A hot tub that didn't require refilling each time would had been ideal. Thank you for sharing your special place with us.

My husband and I stayed at this place for an incredible week. It is the perfect romantic getaway. We had never been to the area and had plans to do many things, but it was a struggle to leave the property. It was simply serene and so wonderful just to sit out on the gorgeous deck with the amazing views. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for cooking. I wouldn’t have changed one thing about the place and will definitely be coming back for longer stays.

The property offers spectacular views, great architecture and a locely open floor plan. . A quiet neighborhood in the hills above Mill Valley with access to challenging hiking a short walk from the home. Plan to book again in the future as our daughter lives in nearby Kentfield.

My partner and I had such a great getaway here for a week. We wanted to get out of the city and enjoy the beautiful Marin county suburbs. The pictures on the website do not give the view justice. This home is perfect. It’s super private and the views of the city and mountains are breathtaking and ever changing. There was a buck and doe most days right outside the kitchen window. The art and decor are interesting and beautiful and the home is very cozy and bright. I spent a week here mostly alone making art, reading, going for walks, relaxing in the tub and eating yummy local foods. It was perfect for my 40th birthday. The owner and manger are super nice and all the technical aspects of the trip were simple and easy. You will not be disappointed by this place. I’m so grateful for my time here.

This is a lovely home in a safe area. The only thing I would say is to expect a very steep drive from town to the home, very narrow roads and 23 steep steps to the front door. Pack lightly.

A fabulous house with amazing views and amenities. From grilling on the elevated deck looking at San Francisco in the distance to walking the nearby paths around Mt Tamalpais - this tastefully decorated house is comfortable, quiet and a place I will be looking to stay at again. A fantastic experience.

We had a great stay in all respects. Eleonora & Judy were so helpful & made arrival easily. The house is fabulous. It is well equipped with everything you could need. The real positive is the ambiance of the place. The architecture, the furnishings, the art work, the lighting and most of all the out side deck with amazing views. Also it is very close to downtown Mill Valley - Great town. In short, we hated to leave and will return often.

The property is a real treat and we had an amazing stay there. Deer in our back at night and the views were truly beautiful! The only drawback was the drive up to the property which was a very narrow road with pure visibility at night. I was ok with it after the 3rd day, but you really have to be careful!

We loved our two week stay here, probably as much as any VRBO stay we have had across California. The open plan living space is wonderful but it is the wonderful, large deck and fantastic views that make the place truly special. We will definitely go back for a repeat visit.

The home is stunning with a large deck overlooking the city. A 10 minute walk through beautiful Mill Valley streets brings you to town center and a 5 minute walk leads you to one of the more spectacular hiking trails in the area. The location could not be better, the place itself if beautiful and well-appointed. It's hard to imagine a better property in Marin. Thank you for the exceptional stay!
