Completely remodeled 2 bedroom/ 2 bath Tamarindo vacation rental condo with all new furnishings, shared pool, fully equipped kitchen, king and queen beds, AC, Cable TV and wifi internet. Bedrooms have king size in the master bedroom, the second bedroom has queen size bed with an additional twin loft bed to sleep 5 in total. The living room has a new sofa bed as well. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern updates and has everything to cook, plus appliances coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, etc.
There is plenty of closet space in each bedroom at this Tamarindo vacation rental. Balcones del Pacifico is very peaceful complex and properties share a beautiful common area and large swimming pool, lounge chairs and lawn area. This condo is the perfect space for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, great for couples and small families. The condo is located just 1 block from the beach and downtown Tamarindo so you would never need a vehicle. There is a grocery store a half a block down the street as well as a food court, park, and taxi stand.
The property manager can help make arrangements for transportation, tours, car rentals, etc...and speaks fluent English and Spanish.

From check in to check out, we loved our stay! We felt so safe with the check in/codes and communication. The gorgeous blue pool was SUCH a bonus! Walking distance to coffee, ALL restaurants in Tamarindo, night life, and the El Mercadito SO close! We also walked to the small market for essentials! The cleanliness was TOP NOTCH, the beds were comfortable, the a/c SO cool; the little things like coffee and filtered water meant so much! Thank you for our amazing vacation stay! Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for 3 weeks in February with 2 young kids and 3 adults. The was responsive and helpful if we ever needed anything.
This place was a pleasant surprised. We were taken aback on how much space the living area had. The Master bedroom was large and had a walk in bathroom. The second bedroom had bunk beds, which would be ideal for kids. There is a separate 'common' area with the bedrooms and the 2nd bathroom so that you can close off the living room/kitchen area if you need to keep noise out. It also has space to store your suitcases or overstock clothes if you need to.
The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you possibly need. We cooked quite a bit during our stay and found it easy to navigate with the tools they had available.
The living area was nice and there is a cute balcony that faces the pool area. The pool itself is great and the neighbours around tend to be really nice people and we got to know a few of them during our stay. The condo seems to attract friendly people.
The only complaint I had was that the internet can be brutal. I had work a couple days and found myself having to switch to mobile hotspot bc the bandwidth wasn't that great on wifi specifically(the TV that uses streaming was excellent though). Jennifer mentioned that this is typical in the area and others confirmed this. Other than that, this place was really well thought out to each detail. I truly felt at home here and already miss it.

We loved the condo. It was very clean and comfortable. Our only issue was that the pool was fairly dirty and there was limited places to sit around the pool. Unfortunately, other short-term renters would monopolize the chairs by putting their towels down first thing in the morning. I am sure this drove the residents crazy. Otherwise, great stay.

Great access to beach and town. Walked every where in Tamarindo. Staff at condo was very friendly and helpful, everyone we encountered was pleasant throughout out our stay. Only negative, if you have a vehicle, parking is limited.

We really loved this location and would stay here again. It is minutes away (a 2-5 minute walk) from the beach, restaurants, shopping, and anything else you might need. We did not rent a car and we had no problems walking everywhere we wanted to go. During our stay we met several other residents of the condos and everyone was lovely, friendly, and helpful. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. There are towels for pool use but not for the beach so if you plan to visit the beach make sure to bring towels or plan to buy some. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs because the master bed is very creaky and it makes a lot of noise every time you move. My husband and I used earplugs and we were ok but I would not have slept without them. Overall, we recommend this property and hope to return in the future!

We really enjoyed staying at your condo! It is very clean, beautifully renovated, very spacious, has everything that you need to enjoy your vacation! The condo is located close to all the restaurants and activities, we did not have to move our car at all. We were so happy with this condo and its location. The beds were especially comfortable, and our family of five was very happy there. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare the meals we had at the condo, and the location was within walking distance of so many dining options. We didn't have to move the car for the three days we stayed, which was great.

Loved our stay and will be back
This was our 2nd time staying at Balcones Pacifico and renting from Jennifer. Communication was easy and Jennifer efficiently helped with a small maintenance issue and our Covid tests as well. This ground unit was fantastic and convenient. It was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a surf family of four. Our boys loved the bunk beds. We love the complex and it is in a quiet cul-de-sac close to everything we needed. We will be back!

Great location
We enjoyed our stay . This location was perfect , block to the beach and town . The condo was located at the top of a hill that was perfectly off the beaten path but super close to everything which was extremely important with 2 teenagers . Never had to rent a car . Jennifer our host was very helpful in booking tours and answering any questions and responding to quickly to any concerns we had . The condo is extremely well appointed, modern and clean . We will definitely book again .. The pool was the perfect way to end the day !

Lovely Updated Condo Close to Beach
This is our 4th time staying at Balcones del Pacifico Condos and the 2nd time in #1. We love the location close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen is equipped with all you need and it has a washer and dryer in the unit. The air conditioning in all rooms works perfectly. The grounds are well looked after and the pool is very clean. The property is very secure with a night guard just outside the gated complex in the parking area. We have loved staying here while visiting our daughter who has been living in Tamarindo.

Great choice!
This condo worked out perfectly for us! The two bedrooms were great for our family of four and the layout worked out well. The kitchen was nicely appointed and it was great to have a washer/dryer. It has a great location - close to the beach, super market, shops, and restaurants. We were a little concerned that it would be noisy and busy in the complex, but it is tucked away a bit and was really nice and quiet. The pool was really nice to have and was kept very clean. If I were to be super knit picky I would say that the showers were a bit challenging - the pressure was weak and temperature difficult to gauge, but that's the worst thing I can say about this wonderful condo. Jennifer and Evelyn were very helpful and responsive, it was great to know that we could count on them to help us with our questions and other arrangements such as setting up a shuttle from/to the airport. Overall, our family had a great trip and we can't wait to come again!

Great Location!
This was just what our family of 4 were looking for- a quiet home base within the Playa Tamarindo area— close enough to walk to everything including the beach yet far enough away for some peace and quiet, especially around the nice pool area.

Great Location in Tamarindo!
We loved our condo at Balcones del Pacifico in Tamarindo. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings are updated and bathrooms are beautiful. We love being close to town and having a nice pool that has plenty of shade most of the day. No problems encountered here! This is our second stay at this complex but this condo is by far the most beautifully decorated. We will be back!

Great newly renovated space
We had 5 family members stay at Balcones #1 and couldn’t have had a better experience. The unit is super clean, renovated throughout and one of the best locations in town. It’s close to the beach and almost all of the best restaurants in Tamarindo.

Everything was great!
I brought my 19 year old niece to Costa Rica as a belated High School graduation present. We were looking for comfortable, convenient accommodations with great access to Tamarindo and activities. This place was perfect! Jennifer was an amazing help with planning a very memorable vacation for us. Everything she recommended was awesome! The condo is exactly as it appears in the pictures and was a 2-3 minute walk to town and 5-6 minute walk to the beach! I highly recommend this condo and will consider going back myself!

Wonderful, safe property!
I stayed for 7 days/nights in Tamarindo with my 2 teen daughters and we absolutely loved our condo! It had everything we needed to prepare meals, the air conditioning was wonderful, and the property manager, Jennifer, is a gem! She goes above and beyond and helped us with planning activities and transportation and she is amazing!

Great family getaway in Tamarindo
This place was just right for my family (4 adults, 2 kids) for our week stay in Tamarindo. It is beautifully furnished and decorated, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the laundry area was super handy when traveling with kids. It is close to lots of good restaurants and a short walk to the beach. There is also a small supermarket just down the block that kept us supplied with breakfast items and anything else we needed. Despite being so close to the action, the complex itself is quiet. The pool area is also quite nice and well-maintained. The parking area here is pretty small, but it wasn't a problem to find street parking if it was full. Jennifer was really helpful in arranging a couple of tours for us during our stay, and was quick to respond when we had any questions. Hope to be back some day!

Perfect for our family
We walked to the beach every day. We walked to the little grocery store every day! The condo was comfortable, we had everything we needed, and to the couple of minor issues we had Jennifer responded immediately and addressed them. The beds were super comfortable. The washing machine and dryer worked great for us. We pretty much had all the amenities we would have had at home, just scaled down a bit. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Beautiful condo!
Rooms are large and clean! It had everything we needed. I especially loved the custom wood cabinets and dining table as well as the extra large showers in both bathrooms. The air conditioner worked very well- we turned them off when we left each day, but it cooled off very quickly when we returned. The pool is small, but we all enjoyed it. The grounds have plenty of plants and trees and pleasant to sit and enjoy the birds. A small grocery store was just steps away and had everything we needed for our stay. Beach access was only 1 block and I liked that we were so close but not dealing with constant beach traffic- this condo is in a very quiet gated area- there was a guard 24/7 watching all comings and goings. Shopping and restaurants are by the beach access, again just a block away. Jennifer was very gracious helping us plan our activities- she knew the best outfitters for surfing, transportation, and even helped us put together a private tour that everyone in my 3 generation group could do (Grammy didn't want to zip line, so she did hanging bridges). I REALLY appreciated her help with all of that. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!!

Wonderful
Balcones del Pacifico was just perfect for our family of 5. We had asked the Manager Jen some suggestions of places to eat and surf and Jen was spot on! We had arrived into Liberia airport and was nervous about getting a car late and driving into town. Jen had given the perfect directions and the gate guard was welcoming and wonderful when we got there. The condo is very clean, wifi very good and fast and as a chef the kitchen had everything we needed. The condo is in the center of town and we walked everywhere. We will return.

Perfect Location
My neighbour and I enjoyed 2 weeks in this sparkling, newly renovated apartment near the beach (and the grocery store). Even though the "town" was just a few steps away, we felt completely safe. The grounds were well maintained and the pool delightful. The manager was always available to answer our questions or change a light bulb. One evening there were 9 howler monkeys in a tree right outside the apartment. Bright green iguanas strolled through the property occasionally. A really lucky find!
