Girls "short" trip to see Thunder Over Louisville. Very cool fireworks. This property was close to coffee/food/shopping in a quaint location for walking. Felt comfortable everywhere we went. The beds were extremely soothing after a long day. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay in Louisville for a couple nights. The house has everything you need. Enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is charming - nice restaurants and lots of vintage stores. Comfortable beds. Nice to have off street parking.

This was a great little rental for us. Everything was as expected. All the places we wanted to go were within a 20 minute drive. Walking to several stores and restaurants was easy and there is a Kroger just down the street. Tip -You have to touch the top of the keypad to light up the numbers for entry.

We enjoyed our stay at this location and think you will too! All that was missing was a Keurig. Otherwise it a good place to stay-great location and easy to get to and from the freeway.

This property was exactly as advertised. Steps to restaurant row and shops. The house was clean and appointed with several extra touches like coffee, extra towels, bedding, blankets, etc. We had a wonderful time and really appreciated the way that the hosts communicated and ran their property!

It was our second stay here. We absolutely love the place. It is a charming house, in a fantastic neighborhood. The location is perfect, and the owner is awesome.
I injured my anle pretty badly in the days before our stay. I was in a wheelchair for our stay and still am, likely for some months more.
My injury wasn't going to stop me from comming to Louisville.
Can't wait to go back next year.

It was a very quiet neighborhood. We sat on the porch in the backyard the whole time we were there when we weren’t out exploring. The only things I can say negatively is that the towels were old and very used and looked dingy. Also the bathroom was very small. Churchill Downs was close by and we loved it. My highlight was going to the Brown Hotel and having the famous Hot Brown. It was really good. The hostess and wait staff were excellent.

The house was spacious enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The host had stocked extras such as bath soap, a hairdryer, and more than enough towels/ bed linens. The house was clean and the host responded to questions almost immediately. There are tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance but it does get a tad bit questionable after dark. Overall though we would book here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this house so much. It was a short drive to downtown, but also has plenty to do within walking distance. The home is well kept & clean. Owner was quick to respond & very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Accurate listing, everything was as promised. Cozy little place in the heart of Deer Park/Bonneycastle neighborhood. The private parking was a bonus. Close to everything Bardstown Rd. has to offer. We parked once and walked everywhere. Plenty of towels and bedding for a comfortable stay. So many small touches (like a bourbon ball sample and toiletries) that made the place special.

We stayed here while in town for a volleyball tournament. This property is a perfect location for walking to food and proximity to the Kentucky Exposition Center. A charming place.

The house was exactly as featured, very cute and cozy! Andrew made sure we had everything we needed - and we had a very prompt response from him to answer some questions we had at check-in. We easily explored the highlands by foot, and were within convenient driving distance to many other Louisville sights and attractions. We had a great time visiting with Moses at Pivot Bar, and many other friendly locals! Loved it- Would definitely stay again!

My best girl friend and I had our annual trip and this time it was Louisville! This property was located on a beautiful street that is literally next to everything - shops, eateries, etc. The home had more than enough room for the two of us and would easily accomodate four people. Only one bathroom, but it wasn't an issue for us. Ample supply of towels, wash cloths, etc., which doesn't always happen in rentals. The bedrooms are spacious and the living room/kitchen were also just right. Added bonus is that it has character and was nicely decorated - not bits and pieces thrown together. Definitely recommend this property.

We just checked out after 5 nights, and we already miss it. We has a great time.
The house is charming, and in a fantastic neighborhood. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Including a great candy shop about 350 steps away.
Words that come to mind for this property are LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Everything you would ever want to do is just a short drive away....zoo, churchhill, mega cavern, and distillery tours.
The owner is fantastic. We can't wait to go back.

We took a family trip to Louisville and the home was so perfect for our stay (2 year old and 6 year old). The home was adorable and the location is amazing. Its quiet, but in a great location in the Highlands. Would surely stay there again!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a much-anticipated visit to Bourbon Country. The home at Deer Park was a perfect 'home base' for us as we traveled through Louisville, Frankfort and Bardstown areas for a week.
We came home tired most days, so having great restaurant options within walking distance was helpful. However, the kitchen was well-stocked and we made a grocery run for snacks and beverages (Kroger is about a mile away).
The bathroom, while tiny, had lots of hot water. The linens were nice and the bed was comfy. We sat on the patio in the evenings sipping our new-found favorite drinks. We we had a parking spot in a driveway behind the home. That was a good thing, as the streets were usually crowded during the day.
Bob White, from Kentucky Guides, helped us select this home from our 'favorite' list we sent to him. That was helpful, since we didn't know the area. (We highly recommend Kentucky Guides, too!)
We had the opportunity to interact with the owner a couple of times during our stay. We found him to be very helpful and generous. When we visit the area again (and we will!) I won't hesitate to book this location again.
Cheers!

Great spot to walk to shops and restaurants on Bardstown Rd. We’ll preserved and maintained home. Wooden floors are in excellent shape; just a little squeaky. Definitely stay there in the future.

Great older home in populated part of town - however, very private and so quiet!

Beautiful house in older neighborhood
House comfortable. Close together so not much natural light. Great porches but weather to cool to enjoy. Nicely furnished. Good for my daughter and I

Great Place!
Great little place for my wife and I to stay while touring distilleries around Louisville. We had a great time staying here just a very short walk from Bardstown Rd (a.k.a. Restaurant Row) and all the entertainment it provides. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Thanks for adding to our experience in Louisville!

Great place to stay
We very much this house for our long weekend in Louisville. Great location-easy to walk to many places shops and restaurants for dinner and easy to drive into downtown and to other must see places in town. The neighborhood, despite being near many restaurants/bars, is quiet and peaceful. The house is nicely decorated and comes with all the amenities you would need. The owners have nice, thoughtful touches throughout for their guests. Highly recommend.

Home away from home
This home meets our family's needs; in fact, so much so, this is our second visit.
Once we began making plans for a return trip to Louisville, we didn't hesitate to reach out to the homeowner to see if our dates were available. Knowing how pleased we were the first time around, we were thrilled to find out that we could call Deer Park our home base for a few days. Without a doubt, we would highly recommend this home to others!
