PLEASE NOTE: The cleaning fee for the property is included in the rental rate for weekly rentals only. All rentals less than 7 nights will be charged a $275 cleaning fee. The software will not automatically add this fee, it must be calculated manually as an extra charge.

How often can you feel the ocean mist tickle your toes while sitting on a covered porch, over looking the Atlantic? Or yell up your lunch order from the sand and know someone in the kitchen can hear it and tend to it perfectly? Well, it's not quite that good, but it's pretty darn close at Back to the Beach on Oak Island. Our sweet, sunny, happy home is literally steps from the back door to the water and the closeness to the ocean creates an unforgettable experience for those who make it their home while visiting Oak Island. Everything just seems easier; no dreaded long walk dragging your every need for the day through hot sand, no fighting over who has to go back to the house to refill the cooler. And when the day is done, you can go straight from the beach to the shower with our fully enclosed, heated water outdoor shower(because - who really wants to clean sand out of tubs while on vacation, anyway?!)

Back to the Beach is a short 0.2 of a mile from Middleton Road, which is the middle of the island. To the East is restaurants, shopping, ice cream and miniature golf. To the West , marina, fishing, crabbing, and watching the sun set so close to you, you feel you could reach out and touch it. The new Lowes and Publix grocery stores are just minutes from our house.

If relaxed, carefree days with family and friends is what you are looking for in your beach vacation this year, then look no more. Back to the Beach has you covered - from amenities, to comfort, to making memories that will last a lifetime, it's all a few clicks away!

Amenities: 5 Bedrooms/ 2 Baths: 1 King, 3 Queens, 3 Singles. 6 CCTVs, 1 DVD players, wireless internet access, ceiling fans throughout, booster seat, board games and puzzles, Direct beach access, covered porch with rockers, walkway with built-in seating for sunning or star gazing. Enclosed outdoor shower w/ hot & cold and. Hammock located under ocean front deck. Some beach chairs and toys in storage on the deck.

Linens (sheets and towels) are included in all rentals. Cleaning fee of $275 is added to any rental that is less than 7 nights.

As soon as you walk in, you're treated to the expansive ocean view from a large living room window. Great for families - 5 well appointed bedrooms and 2 large, clean bathrooms. Updated kitchen, washer/dryer, covered oceanfront porch, pet and baby friendly with outside railings and gates. A super house with a responsive and attentive owner!

The location of this house is awesome you are right on the beach! House is spacious and has plenty of room upstairs and down stairs inside and a nice kitchen! The only reason i kept from giving 5 stars is because they were 2 hours late on check in because the cleaning lady told us the previous people had dogs and made a mess. Also the floors were not cleaned the best so we had to clean them before we brought our stuff in. But I would recommend this property to anyone it was a great stay!

House is as advertised. Great Location, right on the beach. House has lots of room, 5 Bedrooms, 2 huge bathrooms, kitchen well stocked, just about all you can ask for. BONUS, all stairways on the porches have gates you can open and shut for dogs and children. This made it safe and wonderful. If you want that perfect beach Vacation, look no further - you have found it!!

Relaxing stay with the absolute best views of the ocean, beach, and natural surroundings. House was comfy and the kitchen update was very nice. We have stayed at this cottage multiple times and has made wonderful memories for our family and a wonderful recharge of self.

Would have liked to give a 3.9 overall rating. Location and views were great. Setup well for dogs. Warning, bring ALL your own supplies, paper products, cleaning materials, etc . Little to nothing to even get through your arrival night. Kitchen well equipped with appliances, pans, utensils, plates, etc.

The view is wonderful, private beach is great. House is great, well equipped kitchen, linen and towels. TV and ceiling fans in livingroom and each of the 5 bedrooms. Granite counter tops and ample storage spaces. Under house parking another plus. Loved the hammock and outdoor shower. Our only problem was clothes washer didn't work and dish washer didn't work but Host Kerrie was quick to address these issues. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

My husband, fur babies and I had a very relaxing week at this beach house. Everything was perfect, extremely clean and well set up. The property manager was very quick to answer a question we had. This was our first vacation in over 2 years (and our first visit to Oak Island) and we would definitely love me to come back soon!!!

The only problem we encountered was our property was not ready at 3:00. The cleaners showed up after we arrived and told us they thought it was 4:00 check in. When we exited the property before 10:00, we spent the day at the beach. When the left that evening, the new vacationers were there, and the cleaners were not there again. Potential problem for owner. Our time there and the house was fantastic!!!!!Only mention the other so it can be corrected.

Everything was as described, the house was great (and clean), the location was beautiful! We had a wonderful time. Would definitely rent again (and actually have my request submitted for next year). Easy access to beach, loved the covered back porch & rocking chairs, lots of living room seating and space for everyone to be comfortable. The large dining table was perfect for us to enjoy meals together and game nights. Loved it!!

The house was just as described and the owner kept us up to date with changing conditions due to a beach restoration project. It is very pet friendly and includes all needed items as well as a fantastic beachfront view!! We highly recommend this house for your Oak Island visit!

Absolutely loved this house. Had private beach access which was great for the kids and we could see them from inside the house and on the porch while they were playing on the beach. The house is way more spacious than it looks in the pictures in the living area and the bedrooms. Cannot beat the view as you get to see the sunrise and sunset from the deck.

Going to the beach in late February/early March was a good idea as the weather was beautiful, and we enjoyed staying in a place that felt like a "home away from home" where we were very comfortable. We really liked the close proximity to the beach; and our dogs loved it, too. The location on the island is just a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants.
