About this house rental

The Roaring Fork River is a short walk away and local bike paths close by. Riverdale is located in a quiet place to relax and close to all Glenwood Springs has to offer. For those who love to cook, we have more than salt n pepper for your spices, a waffle iron, a blender, toaster and a crock pot. Enjoy wifi and a large screen smart tv (Netflix provided but not cable, login to your favorite apps) from an open living room, kitchen and dining room area. Perfect for 4 people. A well behaved pet is welcomed to enjoy the fully enclosed yard, a water bowl and 2 pet beds of their own. Please no smoking in or outside, this is due to past abuse of non smoking policy.

We loved our stay here, it was very central to all of the activities we wanted to do; Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. It was also a reasonable drive down the highway to Aspen and the Maroon Bells for hiking. Pam was easy to communicate with and the property was wonderful. Bonus - we came back from dinner our last night and there was a momma black bear with 3 cubs at the bottom of the driveway!

From start to finish, this was a perfect spot... conveniently located, spotless and comfy, easy to communicate with owner, and solid WiFi. It also delivered on many lovely features found in high end places (excellent towels, bath soap and shampoo dispensers, neat and trim yard with nice patio furniture, and paper products like you use at home). We will absolutely be back!

Great property. It was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The shaded and fenced grassy yard was perfect for our family, including our dog. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

This was a great VRBO. Very clean and when it states that it is dog friendly they really mean that. We didn't bring our dog but once we got to the place we realized she would have been fine. Location is perfect, far enough from the business of downtown but yet only a few minutes away via car, or ten minutes via bike. The Rio Grande trail is easily accessible simply by heading two blocks to 29th Street. I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a dog.

Found this perfect spot to stay for a destination wedding we attended nearby. Needed to bring our pup and this one had a fenced in yard! Everything was perfect ! Very clean and had everything we needed . Very quiet and close to everything and Dennis and Pam were perfect hosts. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Riverdale Cottage! Pam and Dennis are great hosts and provide everything needed to make for a comfortable stay. The home is clean and air conditioned for a hot Summer and the yard was loved by our dogs! The location is very convenient to everything in Glenwood Springs. Whenever we visit Glenwood Springs again with our pups we’ll book our stay at Riverdale Cottage.

Centrally located property tucked away in its own oasis. The house was quiet with a great yard and sitting area. The house had everything we needed for great meals including making s’mores over the outdoor fire pit. Would stay again!

We had everything we needed for a three-night stay.The cottage was very clean. We loved sitting on the deck for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We took a 4 mile walk right from the cottage along the Roaring Fork trail.

We have now stayed here two years in a row for a trip with our friends, and we loved coming back to the same spot! Cozy, comfortable, clean. Fantastic access to walking trails and easy walk to Sweet Coloradough (donut shop!). They have everything you need, and if you bring your dog, the fenced in yard is a huge plus! I always know next time we come back to Glenwood, we will stay here! Definitely quickly becoming a tradition our family loves.

Highly recommend this spot! Kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals! Dogs have a safe place to run around! Beds are comfortable- Really nothing bad to say. We are a family of 4- our 2 kids are 10&12 and opted to share one of the bedrooms. We will be back! ❤️

We were down from Denver for a state mountain bike race for our son. The house was all ready to go when we arrived. Excellent location for everything in Glenwood. I was lucky enough to meet the owner and he was a delight! Gave us some great ideas on places to eat. Very clean, comfortable, and all I would need in a kitchen to prepare any meal. The beds were okay...I am spoiled with my adjustable Tempurpedic. Shower was great. The best part for me was the yard (very secure) for my two little dogs. I would happily stay here again! Thanks, Dennis for your hospitality....

We loved staying at Riverdale cottage. Very clean, comfortable, convenient and the best part, our dog was welcome and safe. Host was amazing with communication and very helpful with specific suggestions. There is a binder in the house that is tremendously helpful as far as restaurant recommendations and I even discovered some new places that otherwise would have been overlooked such as the salt caves and Homested Apothecary.
