About this house rental
Masterpiece was designed to maximize both indoor and outdoor Southern California living. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms the vacation home is spacious enough to accommodate up to 8 guests. Family friends and your furry four-legged friend (max 1 pet) will reside comfortably inside and love the prime location in Corona del Mar. The beach restaurants shopping and golf course are all a few short blocks away.
This luxurious corner lot home features only the finest materials ranging from wide planked French Oak floors to La Cantina Doors and custom stone and marble finishes throughout. The home welcomes you with a large front patio. Comfortable patio seating is arranged around a fire pit. Nights will be spent circled out here with a bottle of your favorite wine while the fire keeps you cozy against the coastal breeze. Leave the La Cantina bi-fold doors open to allow the fresh air inside.
Upon entry you will find a bright open floor plan with a living room kitchen and dining area. The living room faces the front patio so you can lounge and enjoy the sunny outdoors. The plush sectional couch is placed in front of a fireplace and mounted TV. Light the fire and turn on a movie to unwind with your loved ones. Air conditioning a washer/dryer DirecTV and WIFI are provided to make you feel at home.
Adjacent to the living room is a chef's dream kitchen. The kitchen features stunning Calcutta marble counters and Viking stainless-steel appliances. Cook your favorite dish and chit chat with your guests at the built-in breakfast bar. Sit down for dinner at the dining table with seating for six to have a meal with the whole family.
As the night ends and you are ready for some rest four lavish bedrooms are available. The master bedroom holds a King-sized bed TV private balcony and bathroom. Getting ready in the master bathroom is a treat as you soak in the spa tub. There is also a rainfall shower and dual sinks. The first guest bedroom similarly has a King-sized bed TV balcony and full bathroom. Two other guest bedrooms have Queen-sized beds and full bathrooms.
The rooftop deck is the perfect spot to spend the golden hour as the sunlight begins to soften. A patio couch offers a place to unwind while you watch breathtaking sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

We had an amazing time at this home!! It is very clean, spacious and very cozy! Having 4 bedrooms with their own bathrooms was great !! The outdoor living is incredible and where we spent most of our time when not at the beach or walking the town. The bbq and fire pit on patio is great !The beach is a short walk from the house along with coffee shops and the best restaurants in CDM! The location is perfect, everything within walking distance!! Loved it and will book again for sure !!

We had a great stay in our old stomping ground of CDM. The house was great, a perfect location, lovely outdoor spaces and clean and spacious throughout. It is well stocked and the team were attentive during our stay. We will definitely be considering it for our next trip!

The home is beautiful and exactly as it appears in the photos. The home is impeccably clean. The sunsets from the rooftop deck are amazing and not to be missed.
The location of the home could not be better. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.
Communication with the property managers was top notch. They were very responsive and helpful when we had questions.
We will definitely stay here again.

The Worst part about our trip was how I was terrorized 3 different nights by a group of drunk older teens. They watched me through the blind-less window only on the nights I was alone.They then pounded on the front door yelling and screaming. They did this numerous times on three different nights. I called the police but there wasn't much they could do
We had rented this place a year and a half ago and it needed a refresh then. We came back and nothing had been updated. The linens were clean but old and warn. The refrigerator had some broken parts and the ice maker was broken. The water is unfiltered and tasted of metal and chlorine. I purchased a water filter for them and future guests.
. The management was very responsive and offered fresh towels ice and a blind for the window.
Overall it is a spacious place that needs some upgrades and a better security system and or cameras and lights to ward off any further scares.

There were 2 coffee makers, both broken. Ice maker didn't work. Outdoor furniture only seating for 3 and pillows ripped and dirty. Outdoor umbrella, unusable, as it was broken. Living room couch very stained. Barn door to upstairs bedroom broken and almost impossible to open and close. Very limited supplies. Didn't use outdoor balcony as furniture was so bad. dirty and worn.
Paid too much for this overrated property.

This home is in a great location and the property manager was very prompt fixing any issues. Great outdoor spaces too. Unfortunately, due to rain, we didn't spend much time in the outdoor spaces.

Great option in Corona Del Mar
Overall, we had a great family vacation over Thanksgiving at thit property. Would definitely stay here again, but there is room for improvement. Specific Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Great location. Close to a lovely beach, restaurants, some small shops as well as Fashion Island mall. Santa Ana airport is less than 15 minutes away.
Plenty of space. 4 good-sized bedrooms, 3 with en-suite baths. Open living room & kitchen that connects to a very functional patio with a fireplace. Additionally, there is a deck on the roof with another firepit and seating.
All the amenities we could have asked for, from 2 coffee makers to a new exterior gas grill.
Very responsive and attentive property management. They communicated well and in a timely manner.
Cons:
Understanding that everyone has their own standards, I would consider this a very nice property, but not "luxury". It may have been at some point, but attention has NOT been paid to the 'little details': door handles that were loose, bar stools that need their seat tightened, occasional delays with hot water getting to some outlets, a couch that could well use an upgrade. On the flipside, all of that contributed to an overall environment that was very comfortable and that allowed us to relax. Again, we would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Property Manager
While the property itself was a bit tired, (consider cleaning or replacing white sofa, and mattress pad in uppermost bedroom has seen better days) Phil, the property manager, was extremely responsive.
We had a few unfortunate mishaps during our week’s stay. The internet was spotty at best until the last day (and the second visit by Spectrum). Phil worked with us almost daily to get the problem resolved. The sun-worn cantilevered umbrella snapped and fell on the patio furniture minutes after we got up to refill coffee mugs. The dishwasher (looks new?) needs to be secured in place so it doesn’t move into kitchen when opening.
It is a busy corner and it can get loud on the front patio at times with morning traffic or late night parties. But the home was quiet when doors were closed, comfortable, roomy, good beds, newer smart TV, kitchen well-stocked, appliances in good repair, and garage parking. Our mishaps were fixable, and hopefully resolved for future guests.

Perfect location in Newport Beach
The location of the house is perfect for Newport Beach. Our stay was flawless. The house is sophisticated, spacious, well maintained, and all our additional needs were immediately addressed by the management. We especially enjoyed the outside seating areas in front of the house and the rooftop with fire pits. We used the outside grille a lot as well. Would recommend to friends and family.

A tired Property
At one point in time this was probably a nice place to stay. Now it is well worn and not taken care of. When we did have a problem with the house the property manager Phil was VERY helpful, unfortunately there were too many issues. Some of the issues were;
A delayed check in.
None of the fireplaces worked properly.
Clogged shower drain.
Smoke detector going off at 6 am.
Stains on bedding.
Dishwasher falling out of undercabinet mount.
Garage door remote not working.
This property was not worth what we paid.

Centralized Location and Clean
The property is located in a very good location in Corona Del Mar which is walkable to coffee shops, bakeries, take-out, pharmacy etc. It is a really nice 10 min walk to the beach which is gorgeous. This home is so centralized! There is easy street parking (on Tues/Wed have to change sides of street for street cleaning). The house was very clean and fresh upon arrival, WiFi worked well (no direct plug in for computer) and the house has all the basics you need for a vacation. The only thing I’d say needs an upgrade is the master bedroom mattress on the lofted side of the house - it felt lumpy and slants down on each side where maybe too many people have slept - - but there were other beds in the house we used so wasn’t too a big of a deal. Also, we rented for 12 nights and when we arrived from New York we requested an early check in at 12noon a few days prior - the rental agency charged us an additional $60 to check in early. I thought that was rather inconsiderate considering there wasn’t a booking before us and we were staying for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, I’d say it’s a good, clean option to stay in Corona Del Mar!

Fantastic residence
This is a fantastic place! Great spaces inside and out. Front patio and roof top deck with firepit allow you to really appreciate California living while its location in CDM is perfect for walking to whatever you need/want.

Perfect CDM vacation home!
This is truly the perfect CDM vacation property. The house is beautiful and spacious and was absolutely perfect for our family with older kids--all 8 of us! Everything in the house is beautiful and comfortable. We have now stayed in this house twice and will definitely be staying again! Also the property manager, Phil, is amazing and we had a few minor things we needed and he took care of them immediately.

Beautiful place
This house is lovely with great interior finishes. All bedrooms have their own bath which is a plus. The outdoor fire pits were wonderful to use in the evenings. Management was very responsive and helpful when we had questions or needed something. We were able to walk or ride bikes to the beach and beach toys are provided. Outstanding!

We Love 720 Fernleaf Ave!
This house was amazing and exactly as pictured on the website… We loved every minute we stayed there with four bedrooms and four baths made it really convenient for the entire family . sunsets were amazing on the rooftop deck and the spacious kitchen family room is where we spent most of our time , so many floor to ceiling windows! We rode bikes to the store… To get bagels… And even to the beach! We will definitely stay at this house again 720 Fernleaf Ave. Corona Del Mar.

Lovely Corona del Mar home!
We stayed at this beautiful home over Christmas, and really enjoyed our stay. It is conveniently located (and walking distance) to the beach, shops, and restaurants, and less than 10 minutes from the John Wayne Airport. The 4 bedrooms/bathrooms gave us all plenty of space, and there is a very comfy L-shaped sofa in the family room where we watched movies and enjoyed the fireplace. The roof-top has a nice ocean view and a place to gather and enjoy the fire pit. The furnishings were very comfortable, and the dining table was perfect for six people. Leah and John from Stay Lavish were very accommodating :-)
