About this house rental
Located in the Upper Berkeley neighborhood, a bohemian pocket of urban homes with its own commercial district, 9 minutes from Downtown. Private. Once inside the fenced compound, you find festival lighted patios, and a place to relax. High ceilings, skylights, hardwood floors, tons of windows & an eclectic bohemian décor exudes a cool calm. The house and it's compound create smiles and laughter & confirm you picked the right spot.
This house has a great feel with large rooms with high ceilings, some with skylights, hardwood floors through out, all new windows, Central Air Conditioning, and a new 65" Smart TV in the Living Room, 52" Smart TV in the 3rd bedroom. The entire house is filled with original pieces of art as well of a collection of Rock n Roll Art and concert posters, pieces brought back from Mexico and travels around the world. Kitchen is a fun spot with breakfast bar seating, butcher block counters, and an exterior door that accesses the patio for dining and grilling. Great for a group of friends or family. The feel/vibe of this house puts you at ease and relaxed. It is perfect for a Vacation Rental. Easy commute from the airport as well - straight shot and one exit and one turn and your here. Honestly, the best location in town and the hottest neighborhood if a local and even better for guests wanting to know where the locals hang out, shop, eat, and drink. Foodie paradise as well as a Beer connoisseur's dream with multiple breweries. Walking distance to everything - 2 of Denver's best parks, groceries, breweries, restaurants, shopping, Golf Course. The yard is very private with a 6 foot privacy fence and a fun yard with great outdoor lighting for hanging out. Great front porch for morning coffee or lazy summer afternoons

Easy access to Downtown from this urban city neighborhood called Berkeley Heights/Regis and the walk-able two commercial neighborhoods spots that have bars, restaurants, shops, and the 2 large parks with lakes. Simple commute to DTC, airport, mountains, ski-resorts, Red Rocks, and Boulder. Probably the best location in Denver to be close to everything you think you want to do and will, but more so and realize quickly, it's the exact location you want to be in after a day or two and getting your bearings on the city and surroundings.
The Rock House is bordered by the Highlands neighborhood (32nd and Lowell) and the Tennyson neighborhood (44th and Tennyson) which are great neighborhoods with many restaurants, shops, and pubs if you want a more neighborhood vibe vs downtown.
There is also easy access to the I-70 expressway which is your gateway to all the best skiing in the Rocky Mountains - Loveland 55mins, Keystone 1hr, Breckenridge 1hr, Vail 1.5hr, and many more for you to choose from. Blackhawk Casinos are 1hr. All make for an easy day trip, so you can stay in Denver and not have to pay resort pricing. Easy commute up and back.
4 blocks to Willis Case Golf Course which was recently remodeled and has amazing views of the mountains and beautiful grounds, one of Denver best public courses if not the best. It also has a new restaurant and bar club house with pro shop. 3 blocks away is a Pizza restaurant, convenient store, Liquor Store, The Noshery breakfast/lunch restaurant, Gold Spot Brewery, Regis University, and Rocky Top Tavern.
Depending on what you're wanting for your vacation, the Rock House has a lot to offer! With its close proximity to Downtown Denver and everything it has to offer or the easy access to I-70 to the Mountains, the Rock House is your next destination when you're in town!

Great house with a perfect location to get to most things in the Denver area. House was well provisioned so we didn't have to go track down toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, utensils, etc. Owner was quick to respond to any questions.

We went to a show at Red Rocks plus spent a few days exploring the Denver area. The house was in a great location, right off I70, in between downtown Denver and Red Rocks. Nice cozy neighborhood with walkable or short drive amenities. The owner, Kevin, was fantastic! Checked in on us and was available for questions about the house or recommendations about the Denver area.

This was exactly how it was described! Perfect location. Red Rocks was easy 20min drive no traffic. Made an easy day trip to Colorado Springs. Beds and living area so comfy! Back yard was cute although we didn’t spend a lot of time out there. Would definitely rent again!

This was a perfect house for the 4 of us - really nice centralized location for trips to Estes/Boulder Park, Colorado Springs, and things around Denver as well. Outside space was really nice, and everything about the house was "as advertised". It had everything we needed and suited our group perfectly!

House is clean and well kept inside and out. Convenient to get to downtown Denver and Boulder. We had no issues parking in the friendly neighborhood. Enjoyed a couple dining places on Tennyson which is nearby. Highly recommend Post Oak BBQ.

The patio outside was great. The house is clean and well maintained. We were 15 mins from Leopold Bros Distillery (a highlight of our trip) and 15 mins from some fine food and drink destinations.

Kevin’s house was fantastic. Very clean and stylish place with everything we needed. Felt like home as soon as we walked in. In a great location, we could walk to a few restaurants/ breweries and parks (Rocky Top Tavern has good food and great staff) Downtown is a very short drive or short Uber/Lyft ride. Red Rocks is only a 25 minute ride away. With 5 adults, we were not crowded - beds are comfortable! We loved spending downtime in the backyard oasis. Kevin was very accommodating while checking in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

My friends and I stayed at the Rock House when we were in town for a friend’s wedding. The property was comfortable for the 5 of us and was located close to downtown and Golden. The owner was even kind enough to make a binder for us with information about the surrounding area and recommendations for restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Perfect location between Denver and Boulder; which was exactly what we wanted. Seemless other than on my end, but all went well and I would highly recommend the host and the location.

Easy access for Rocky Mountain, Colorado Springs, Red Rocks and downtown. Comfortable set up for family with two teens. Outdoor space nice bonus. Id stay here again. Recommend.

Great place with all you need
This is a really enjoyable location and property. Furniture could be more comfy and wifi was slow, but it didn’t ruin the trip. Adding a fire pit in back would’ve been great, only thing missing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend others stay here. We grilled in the yard, enjoyed the TV in the living room. And 2 full bathrooms was very comfortable to have. Plenty of space and extra room for friends. Right off the freeway and near shops and stores and restaurants. We were pleased.

Wonderful stay, extremely convenient, just as described!
Check in process was very easy, and we found the property to be just as described. Very clean, and private home that made for a very nice stay. Access to other parts of central Denver was very easy and quick (under 10 min to get to RiNo, for example) as the property is on a small street right off the highway. Thank you!

Loved It!!!!
We loved staying at this house. Great neighborhood, quiet, warm and comfortable in the winter. Because of the skylights and open floor plan the house has a spacious feel in spite of being a smaller home. We enjoyed the bright open feel. The house was very clean and simple. Actually would love to come back for a summer visit, the back yard looked so inviting for a nice summers evening. I can't say enough about how helpful and accommodating Joe, the property manager was. We needed to extend our stay on both ends of originally booked time because of bad weather and he was so prompt and nice about helping us out.

My suggestions
Overall the house is well kept and very clean. We were at the house to sleep and were with our daughters during the day. So our main concern is a comfortable bed and nice linens. We thought this would be the case with the higher rental rate for this property, but were disappointed. The queen mattresses are not high quality and uncomfortable. The pillows are horrible and we ended up borrowing pillows from our daughter. The sheets are not hotel quality which I would expect and the towels were also very disappointing. There is noise from I70 that you can hear in the bedroom as well.
If mattresses, pillows, and linens were upgraded this would be a much better experience.

Great experience
We had a great experience with Kevin and Joe. They made themselves very available to us. The house rules were very specific but not extravagant and the stay was very comfortable and clean. We would recommend staying at the Rock house to anybody who is coming to Denver and will consider the same in the future for ourselves.
