Perfect location close to all amenities.
Perfect location close to all amenities. Cottage clean and very comfortable. We are in at present in difficult times with the pandemic so this restricted things regarding our visit to this part of the country unfortunately but no fault of the property. We would definitely think of using the property in the future.

Aidan was great and bigger than we expected.
Aidan was great and bigger than we expected. We are a family of 4 with 2 older teenage boys and we had plenty of space to sit round the kitchen table and eat dinner or play board games. Loved the Sun Room in the mornings even though we didn't pick the best week weather wise. The lounge was also very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. All in all we had a lovely week and it is handy having extra storage in the garage for outdoor equipment and drying off wet gear. The owner was very helpful when we phoned the week before our arrival giving us lots of tips on where to eat in Seahouses etc. Would recommend. Sorry don't think we took photos in the house.

First time in Northumberland and really enjoyed our weeks stay cation. The house is well positioned in Seahouses and made a good base during our stay. Apart from the bed being a little firmer than we’re used to, we were very happy with the place.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at 'Aidan'.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at 'Aidan'. This cottage is well placed in Seahouses for all amenities and has convenient on-site parking. It's nice and spacious and well equipped, including a hairdryer. There were some instruction booklets for various pieces of kitchen equipment but we couldn't find any regarding the TV in the Sun Lounge. Fortunately the main TV worked fine.
As we stayed in July and had exceptional hot weather! for a few days, we would have appreciated some spare sheets to use with the blankets, instead of a lovely winter duvet, when the temperature was 25-26C in the bedroom. On the side of the double bed nearest the door, the mattress was wearing out as it was soft and one could feel the springs, despite the mattress topper. I suspect it has unfortunately been sat on a lot.
Maybe a bit more attention to preparations to details between changeovers would have been welcome.
