The "Crow's Nest" was wonderful. We stay at rentals all the time. This was the best stocked house of all. It had everything. The kitchen had more stuff than home. Anything you could want to cook and enjoy your stay. A full air conditioned game room complete with pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball and then some. Enjoying the lake is easy with kayaks, life jackets, floats and more. Beds are comfortable and TVs in every room. Perfect for a family stay or just friends. I would stay here again.

My group of writer friends have stayed at the Crow's Nest so many times that we've lost count. We love this for a writing retreat weekend. So cozy, perfect for spreading out, yet coming together. And, Scott and Venessa are the perfect hosts. We always book our next visit before we leave from the current one!

This house is amazing, there is such much detail put into this house to make your stay so comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed (and labeled!) kitchen and absolutely loved the back porch and dock area. 100% will be staying here again!

This is our 2nd time to stay at this property, and we loved it just as much as the first time! The hosts have everything there you could possibly want or need at the house. The house is laid out so nicely and she has every detail decorated so cute. My kids spent hours playing cards, pool, games, ping pong, kayaking, fishing, etc. We caught catfish and carp off the pier. The hosts are more than accommodating, even for left behind items. It's a great place to stay, and we look forward to our next visit!

Stayed at this location for about one month. Listing described property to a tee. Plenty of games to stay busy during free time. Owners were great to work with. They ensured we were comfortable and kept the drinking water stocked. Would definitely recommend this property!

The property was relaxing and peaceful. The hosts were super gracious, even supplying extra cosmetics in case you forgot something. It was a very welcoming place where you could just sit on the patio and relax, enjoy a game of pool in their game room, go tubing/kayaking or fish off their dock (my husband caught several catfish and one crappy). Our 17 month old son had a blast as well! Definitely a place we would like to visit again.

This was our second stay and this home is even better than we remembered it. It is so comfortable. Every detail was thought through. We feel so at home here. Plenty to keep you busy should you have any downtime. Our kids love going to the dock and the game room. We love the cleanliness, the at home feel, and the fact that the house is so well stocked.

We've been renting this house for several years now for a writers' retreat. It's the perfect place for friends to gather. And, Scott and Venessa are amazing. This trip was on the end of an icy spell. Scott was so kind to scoop out the house for ice and call and give us a heads up. Truly owners who care!

What a wonderful place. Myself and 5 senior ladies planned a weekend get away. We decided on this house. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Easy to get to the Square for shopping, single story, clean, safe location, had everything we could have asked for and more. Owners was very nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here. It was a beautiful home and we all felt like we were at home.

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful home while visiting our daughter and her family in the Granbury area. The home is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood of upscale homes. The owners, Scott and Venessa, have an extremely well maintained property, both inside and out. Everything was immaculately clean. The attention to detail through out this home was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to walk in and set up housekeeping. There was an abundance of dishes, as well as dry goods, spices, you name it. The freezer even had 2 bags of ice ready for our use. The bathrooms were well equipped. Linens were in like new condition and an abundant supply. The beds were comfortable and mattresses in good shape. The bedding was like new. The garage had been converted into a wonderful game room with a pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, and foosbal amongst other things. There was a LARGE cabinet inside the house loaded with just about every board game imaginable, as well as card games, puzzles, etc. Scott and Venessa have put so much thought and effort into making this home an oasis for families - they have really raised the bar with their home. Speaking of oasis’s - the backyard is certainly one. They have created several outdoor patios, both adjacent to the house as well as all the way down to the water. It was a great space to spend the early mornings and evenings. Scott and Venessa are great hosts. They came over earlier on the day of our arrival and adjusted the A/C so the home was cool when we arrived. They stocked the freezer with 2 bags of ice. They checked in with us to make sure everything was good. Everything about our time in this home exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here again if at all possible. If you are looking for a home to rent in the Granbury area - this is the one!! You will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully decorated and peaceful lake house. The owners provided everything we could possibly need. They even left 2 bags of ice in the freezer which was very appreciated. There was also filtered water to drink. Did we mention the game room? It was awesome! We definitely recommend staying here.

The property was wonderful! Scott and Vanessa went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and convenient. They thought of everything. The kids and adults enjoyed the game room. The location was very close to Hunter Park and was a great place to put the boat in. We would definitely stay here again.

The hosts are so hospitable and have made their home welcoming, warm, and user friendly! The kitchen is more than well stocked with the basics; it also has a crockpot, bread machine, spices, and anything you could possibly need. Easy access to the lake, the water is deep and refreshing. There is loads of indoor games ( from board games to billiards) and outdoor games (lawn Jenga to corn hole), as well as fishing, kayaking, and tubing! With gas prices the way they are this is a perfect retreat from the metroplex. You will not be disappointed!!

We've stayed at this property several times (6 or 7, I think) and it's amazing. The owners are absolutely the best. We use it for a writing retreat, and it's the perfect place for several friends to hang out together either outside or around the living room and kitchen. The neighborhood is incredibly safe and tucked away. There's a reason we've been here many times, and will be coming back many more!

This home is amazing. Definitely the best rental home we have ever stayed at. Every little detail of the home was thought out. Exceptionally clean. We have a one year old who crawls so if there was dirt he would have found it lol. Great view from the backyard. We spent quite a bit of time relaxing on the back porch. Mostly a quiet and safe neighborhood. The neighbor did leave their dog out barking one night. All night long. Luckily it was just one of seven nights so maybe they had something going on that was out of the ordinary. Easy access to stores but feels like you are tucked away. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. All the comforts of home along with many amenities. Every one of our needs plus more was provided for. A game room with pool table and more made our stay so fun along with board games and puzzles. From the rockers on the back porch one could enjoy the beautiful backyard which sloped down to a dock where one could use the provided kayaks or fish with the provided fishing poles. Our hosts Scott and Vanessa went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! We will be back!

Best vacation home!

This is the best vacation home we have stayed at. The pictures don't do it justice! Every detail is taken care of, and the hosts are very easy to communicate with. What a perfect property. I loved all the shade down by the water, and sitting on the back patio in the mornings! The gameroom kept us all entertained, along with fishing off the dock, kayaking, playing cards on the card table, and paddling around on the floats. The house is so clean and so well laid out. Each room is separated from the others. This was the perfect rental for us. We look forward to staying again!
