Sweet two-bedroom property located adjacent to Austin Creek whose nicest features are its vaulted ceiling living room and back deck.
Mark, the property's owner was a responsive and gracious host.

This home was in the perfect location for our getaway weekend. It had everything we needed and we slept very well in the quiet of the redwoods. And the best surprise was the daily morning delivery of delicious freshly baked goods and coffee.

The cabin was very comfortable and very rustic. It was further off the beaten path than we were expecting but the privacy was wonderful. We were gifted with fresh coffee beans and delicious bread/pastry through our whole stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Definitely worth the drive.

This property is as shown. The owner was the perfect host with fresh baked pastries and bread most days. Friday nite is pizza nite with live music to enjoy under the redwoods. I recommend for a low key stay in a cottage.

Nice getaway
My sisters and I got to the cottage on Friday night, just in time for pizza and live music at Raymonds Bakery! Great night. Mark invited us to his baked breakfast treats Saturday morning, delicious!! The cottage was just right size for myself and 2 sisters. We lovingly referred to the cottage as the "Crooked Cottage" as it has a bit of a slant to it when you're inside. A couple of suggestions would be to have a sign at the base of the hill to signify there are other cottages ahead. Also, perhaps a basic starter kit of condiments would be helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch admiring the redwoods. Great memories made :-)

An Outstanding Experience
Paradise Grove Cottage is a comfortable, rustic cottage in the heart of the redwoods. We felt right at home in the cozy cottage by the creek. The kitchen is stocked with whatever you might need to cook. The beds are comfortable, the linens are fresh and the gathering area is warm and inviting.
The real surprise of our visit is the innkeeper, Mark Weiss. Mark is a warm, generous, and accomplished pastry chef who delivers warm breakfast pastries every morning with fresh, roasted coffee beans. The visit was full of surprises including a special pizza dinner for the guests and a dinner with live music on Friday with the locals.
There is so much to do in the area from walks in the redwoods to a visit to Goat Rock beach. All the nearby towns offer unique shops for browsing. If you like to eat out, there are plenty of great restaurants a short drive away.
We enjoyed just hanging out in the redwoods and relaxing.
You are in for a real treat when you stay with Mark in Cazadero.

Excellent Getaway
From being greeted by Mark on the first day to receiving breakfast on check out day, our stay was perfect. Mark is a wonderful host. It felt like we were staying with him (with full privacy). The redwoods are beautiful and this rustic cabin fits in perfectly. It was warm and cosy with everything we needed in the kitchen, including a fairly new gas stove, so we were able to cook all our meals in. The fireplace made our evenings magical. We walked Goat Rock beach daily and it's just a short hop into town if you forget something. Can't say enough good things. We will definitely come back in the summer and enjoy the creek which is just across the road.

Creekside cabin in the redwoods
We had a great stay at Mark's cabin. Check-in was easy (once I figured out where the road was) and finding the bakery was easy with his directions. Despite the bakery being technically closed for the holidays, Mark hand-delivered some pastries, muffins, incredible sourdough bread, and fresh-roasted coffee our first morning. Well-equipped kitchen, a great wood-burning stove, and cozy bedrooms made for a great stay. Just 15 minutes from Guerneville and half an hour from Bodega Bay but feels like the middle of the forest. We had a blast.

Sweet little cottage in the woods
My best friend and I had a great stay. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us. We were able to cook most of our meals and loved sitting out on the front porch to eat, chat and enjoy the surrounding redwoods. We were sad that the creek ran dry this year, but it was easy to drive to the shore, explore hiking trails and the nearby towns. We loved the pastries that were delivered a few mornings and Mark was so friendly and offered great suggestions on places to visit. My only criticism is that the directions confused me a bit but we figured it out. Highly recommend if you’re looking to be tucked into the woods but close to the shore, wineries and all the area has to offer.

A French patisserie in the Redwoods
Imagine a French Patissiere in the middle of the CA redwoods. Mark is a perfect host. Welcoming us to his cottages in the redwoods with an amazing selection of french pastries our first and last mornings.. The cottage was a nice place to return after adventuring around Sonoma County, and the beds were super comfy. Lots of dogs smells in the woods for our blind senior pup. He was able to find the river but was disappointed it was dry. We recommend others enjoy the comforts Mark’s cottages have to offer!

A wonderful place to stay
This place couldn’t be better. Spacious, lovely, well stocked, homey. You can cook for a crowd here, explore the woods right outside your door, and walk along the river. The host is the kindest and friendliest of hosts, even turning up in the morning with fresh pastries to polish off the breakfast. We hated to leave. Check the directions before you set out.

Nice considering drought
Great hospitality. Delicious pizza! Very little water in creek. Sweet little cabin. Fully equipped kitchen. Great reclining sofa!! Very quiet and
Peaceful for a brief getaway from the day to day. Our little dog could care less how much water was in the creek -he had a blast. Thanks, Mark, for keeping this lovely place alive during the pandemic. May you have better days ahead.

We've enjoyed Friday pizza and wine at Raymond's Bakery in the past, but hadn't yet checked out the B&B side of the business. We are so happy we did! From Mark's warm heart and hospitality, not to mention his killer baking skills, to the PERFECT location of Paradise Grove - we had an amazing 5-night stay! The cozy cottage was very clean and comfortable, the deck in the redwoods magical - and the gurgling Austin Creek was so much fun for the dogs. Wish we could go back tomorrow!

wonderful getaway in the woods
This is a super cute property located across a private road from a creek that's good for stompin' and a short drive to both wineries and Sonoma coast beaches. We received a delicious plate of cookies upon entry and tray of pastries outside the door one morning, all from the bakery on the property. We also ordered a pizza Friday night which was delicious. A five star rating was given by all family members, including our six year old whose favorite part of the house was the crocheted giraffe head hanging over the dining table. We can't wait to come back for another stay in the future!

Serene and cozy
We spent the long weekend here for a much-needed break. The cabin had everything we needed - comfy seating area, fireplace, equipped kitchen, comfortable beds - all amongst the redwoods. Easy to get to hiking nearby. The host is warm and welcoming. The icing on the cake - the cabin is right next to a bakery. If you are there on a Friday, we recommend ordering a pizza for pick-up.

A nice retreat
We enjoyed our stay and it was a great location. Check-in and check out was smooth. The owner was very communicative and flexible (our original planned stay had been during the fires and he took our concerns seriously and provided helpful info). The creek across the house was great for adventures for our little one.

Mark provided the most amazing baked bread and lemon bars during this stay (my second trip to his property). The spot is so tranquil and beautiful, allowing for much needed time to unplug. What a generous human who is living his dream and delivering kindness and thoughtfulness on his ever evolving property. Hope to go back again soon

The description of this cabin is misleading. It's advertised as sleeping 6, but has only 2 queen beds. A normal person would assume there is also a sleeper sofa, but that was not the case. I'm not sure where two more people were supposed to sleep. Luckily, we had only 4, but our children were disappointed they had to share.
Additionally, we were looking forward to pastries the first morning of our stay, since the on-premise bakery is featured so prominently in the description. It turns out that bakery is ONLY open Friday evenings. What good is a bakery that isn't open for breakfast?
Aside from that, the stay was fine and I'd probably rate higher if the listing had been accurate. Thanks to the misleading description, this fell far short of our expectations.

Lovely stay in Cazadero
We were delighted to stay at Paradise Grove House. It was wonderful to have the creek nearby and be in the middle of the redwoods and away from traffic and congestion. Very easy to socially distance and be safe during Covid--with food to go nearby. Hammock, kayak, blow up rafts for the Russian River--all provided for plenty of family time and ease. Raymond also dropped by and left fresh baked goods on our porch on Sunday AM before heading to the Farmer's Market. Delicious!

Cabin by the creek
I went to Austin Creek with my two kids and they had a great time. Mark was friendly and surprised us every morning with some baked treats. Just steps to the creek and 10-15 mins to Russian River and Beach. The cabin was nicely shaded under the redwoods and nice little deck behind the cabin, where the kids liked to play. It was great time and would do it again.

Beauty & comfort.
Staying at this cottage in Cazadero was a delight from beginning to end.
The cottage itself is cozy but not cramped, well-decorated and well-furnished. From the instant my family and I walked in, we felt welcome.
One afternoon, we hosted a friend of ours on the back deck, with all of the redwood trees around us. Just a beautiful place to relax with a cup of coffee and friends and family.
We really enjoyed the beautiful creek next to the cottage too. You can wade through it or swim in it, or just bring a chair down and relax in the shade.
Everything in the cottage is there for your comfort and enjoyment. We found it very welcoming. The fireplace gave us a nice sense of comfort too! The kitchen is spacious and attractive, the lighting in the house is more than adequate, and the beds are big and comfy.
There are places to visit not far from the town (though the town is nice too!) We visited the Russian River, where there were people kayaking and enjoying the water. Beautiful.
The owner was also very attentive to our needs and super-friendly and generous. We felt very much the valued guests of a superlative host.

Peaceful Cottage with Creek Access
My husband and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful place to relax and isolate - we found it in Cazadero. The owner, Mark, was wonderful with his communication and tips. Mark is also one of the most generous people I have ever met, and so friendly while also respecting space and privacy. The cottage was perfect - cool, clean, comfortable, and cozy. We were able to walk across the private road with creek access all to ourselves, with a ton of tiny fish swimming around our feet. It was the perfect getaway to relax amongst the redwoods and stay cool from the heat we are used to at home. Thank you Mark, for providing this space for us and for all you do for your community! Hope to see you soon!

Amazing & Cozy !!!
Mark & his family were so very nice. Having the bakery just down the road we were treated every morning with fresh bread hand delivered by Mark or a family member. The house was a great place to spend our Christmas 2019. Lots of hiking and wine tasting filled our days. Nights were sitting by the fire and relaxing. I would give it 10 stars 🌟 if VRBO allow it.
