Beautiful hotel, could be better on comms

Beautiful hotel, stylish decor, great lighting, comfortable bed. Big breakfast selection. Objectively this was a really great hotel.

on the first day we arrived there was fire alarm testing from 9.30am throughout the day. We had been traveling for several days so were looking forward to relaxing. Sadly this was not possible. There are also building works going on around the hotel so you can hear the construction site from very early in the morning. The rooms def could do with soundproofing. A wedding in the bar meant it was closed off to public.

Good but didn’t like the hidden charges

The staff and service were amazing and our room looking to Taipei 101 was great especially on NYE

The amount didn’t match what booking.com had with extra room charges which was disappointing, in total it was above 250aud over the advertised price. Location wise, not particular central but buses are right outside so not too bad

Simple and not complicated stay.

The lobby was grand and clean. The robot that delivers towel, bottles and items to your room is very cool experience.

The hotel is too basic on their designs. As I travel very often I enjoy when hotel bring out their local taste of design on a branded hotel.

overall is a nice chocie, I would recommend if you travel for commercial, that's a quiet and good location for a goo

- greetings was fine, staff full of smiles - twin bed room basically is big enough to have an adult and child to sleep together - taxi is always standby downstairs

- the location is off from the tourist area - upgrade to have Taipei 101 view basically is not worth - the quality of Buffet not yet up to the standards - foods range and quality

If I’m not mistaken, I was charged around 80 USD for laundry, a bit pricey for a hand full of clothes.

Clean and comfy but a bit let down by the staff

the room had an amazing city view and we could see the planes landing. the cleaning services was really nice. the room was comfy and the bed and pillows excellent.

the elevator feels like a nightclub, the music is so loud. the supplies in the bathroom were given for one person despite two persons on the reservation. the staff was somewhat not at the level of a four star. very bad experience at the lounge where employees forgot about us. also not all of them are comfortable speaking English. the food option is not good either. it’s either a buffet for 50€ or the lounge where the service isn’t the best or the in-room dining. the prices are very confusing for the food items. different menus but similar dishes with different prices.

A good choice in a nice quiet part of town

Convenient location overall, nice quiet neighborhood with good food options.

The desk is not really suited for work, and there is no business center or work area downstairs if needed. Also, an incredibly overpriced restaurant.

Beautiful hotel, but staff are like robots!

Beautiful, clean and new hotel with what you would expect from a Marriot with great unobstructed views.

The gym lacked weight training equipment like a bench press and weights. The room layout was very small and tight and the pillows were not the most comfortable. We had an unforeseen circumstance occur where we had to extend our stay and the hotel were not accommodating unless we paid double the price of our original rate.........so we moved to another hotel. Staff work to the book and not great at being flexible even in The Lounge where we had some coffee's.

Great place to stay if in Taipei for business or leisure.

Good location, excellent room facilities, quiet and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Very varied breakfast.

Nothing really, although the toilet thingy made some funny noises during the night. I would have liked to turn it off

Room is cozy and spacy. 3 Check-in counter is crowded at 3 pm.-4 pm.

A bit far (600-650m.) Walk to some bus stations or MRT.
