Beautiful location, comfortable beds, easy to get to lots of different places in Door County.

Charming vintage cabin. Loved launching my kayak from the backyard. My husband and I bought wine from a local winery and had a glass of wine on our anniversary while watching the sunset.
A few minor negatives: The feeling in the cabin is very minimalistic, meaning, there are no conveniences for the kitchen or bath, no spices or cooking oil, no shampoo, no plastic wrap, no firewood, just salt. Some of the furniture, having seen many visitors, just needs to be replaced. Beds are OK. However, we still had a great time, and this cabin is fairly close to local attractions.

Great Time,

This classic Door County cabin was just about perfect for our family getaway. We enjoyed a beautiful bay view and spent a few rainy days relaxing on the porch. Although not entirely secluded, the cabin offered enough privacy to feel comfortable and cozy. It was clean and well-cared for, spacious enough for the whole family, and had just enough amenities that we didn't find ourselves lacking much.
However, note that there is essentially zero cellular service here. We had only one bar on both AT&T and T-Mobile, and not enough bandwidth to connect most of the time. This wasn't a problem for us, but if you’re planning on working from here, that's probably not going to happen. Bring some DVDs if you’re planning on watching movies, because streaming services like Netflix are not an option.

This was a great location, right on the water! Perfect place for sunrises, sunsets and having time together!

Quaint and Kitschy cabin! Charming and affordable! We are a family of five and stayed comfortably. Close to all of door county. Very close to Sturgeon Bay which is a secret gem! Great food and shopping. You must visit 5th and Jefferson coffee shop!

Location is awesome, great sunsets and brilliant stars at night.
My 10 year old loved the elevated kids room.
Had everything we needed (bring your own coffee).
Enjoyed our stay.

A group of young adults decided to stay here for our annual friends trip and had a blast! The house was clean and comfortable for all 8 of us. We loved the screen in porch and the yard with fire pit and grill. The kitchen did lack a little cleanliness and it surprised us that there was no internet, but overall we had a great trip. Thank you!

Overall it was beautiful and great. Our daughter thought the loft was awesome, she had her own space! However, there were multiple spiders in the loft and she ended up not staying up there. We understand the environment, as we live in the country with woods amd water nearby, but maybe getting the house sprayed if you dont already would be helpful.

Rustic cabin with a great view and beautiful yard. Beds and furniture dates but comfortable. Kitchen sufficient. We ate most meals at the cabin and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The three seasons room was a family favorite spot.

Very cute property, beautiful view. Coffee in the morning on the porch started our day. Then we would be gone most of the day enjoying door county then come back early evening for dinner and spent our nights around the bonfire.

Amazing little cabin on a little point! Crazy that you can get pictures of both sunrise and sunset. Jane is a great host and very helpful. We loved the evening firepit over the lake. This was a great home base for our daily jaunts around Door County! We absolutely would stay on Riley’s Point again!!

We were pleased with the size and brightness of the living area and the great views and screened in porch. The shower was also clean and seemed to be recently installed, which is nice in comparison to other similar cabins we've stayed in. The beds were firm, so if that doesn't work for you consider bringing a mattress topper. We had pretty reliable cell signal near the windows or in the yard.

The property was cozy and perfect for what our family needed. A little tucked away from the hustle and bustle yet close to many attractions. Loved the view of the lake!

This was our 8th time renting from Jane and her family. It is our home away from home. This home has everything you my need and more. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors very friendly. Sunsets and lake shore are absolutely breathtaking.

We booked the cabin very last minute. Jane immediately confirmed that cabin was ready. We loved being right on Green Bay, which is what we were looking for. Location is good just a short drive to Sturgeon Bay and about 45 minutes to get up the peninsula towards Sister Bay.
Cabin was very clean. Two queen beds were good for the three of us but there’s a loft area that can sleep more. One bathroom. Kitchen had all the basic needs; nothing extravagant like a Keurig. Other reviewers have noted no Wifi, which of course isn’t advertised as a feature of the cabin. Cell phone signal was weak but accessible if you sat by windows. Honestly, it was a huge blessing NOT to be plugged into the Matirx 24 hours a day.
Overall, this is a perfect spot for a couple or a small family to get away for a few days. Like being Up North just a lot nicer!!

Jane was very accommodating when Covid prevented making the trip in May. She let us reschedule. The cabin was cozy and had a great view of the lake.

My husband and I enjoyed a few days of quiet relaxation on the lake. We really enjoyed the cabin, especially the view and quiet. It was a good place to unplug, as stated, there is no reception at all so it forces you to step away which I appreciated.

My family thoroughly enjoyed
our stay. A short drive for
a cabin stay on the water.
We played board games & cards
during the rain. The experience was Priceless- getting all 3 of my sons together at the same time, with an excellent VRBO!
THANK YOU, Jane!

Excellent property easy to get to beautiful setting! Everything you could ask for. Didn’t use loft as these girls are afraid of climbing a ladder but we did go up a few steps and it is a wonderful area! Easy to get to town and they have a nice book of tips for you

Clean, quiet, beautiful view. Beds were small and hard to get up to loft for adults. Be warned to have downloaded maps as none of us was able to get service at property. Have to purchase your own wood, good deal at Mini Mart though. Bring shower supplies and might want to bring extra towels. We would all come again. Loved the backyard view.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Perfect size for a small family. No wifi or cell service helped us get away from it all. We spent a lot of time reading by the lake and on the screened porch. Nice fire pit.

Relaxation by the bay
Check in was easy. Host very accessible. No internet/cell service was a problem for a day then it was AWESOME! Bayside sunsets stunning. Fire pit right by water perfect. Loft not for little kids or mobility limitations but has its own charm. Screened in porch is incredible. Would definitely stay again!

Sweet spot on the Bay
Beautiful views. It was a nice spot. Rocky shore but shallow and swimmable. There is no Wifi, dishwasher or washing machine, nor any kitchen basics for cooking, so take note and keep expectations limited. The overall group approval rate was two thumbs up despite these modern inconveniences.

Great little cabin
It was a nice little cabin. Comfy and clean. I thought it would be a little more secluded. It had neighbors directly next door and placed into a nice neighborhood. Otherwise it's everything they said it would be.

Great location
My family had a lovely stay here. You can't beat the location, right on the water. We had several fire pit nights, enjoying the company of pelicans and jumping fish in the water. Beautiful sunsets. The screened in porch was perfect when the outdoor sitting weather wasn't ideal. Cozy, clean, well equipped kitchen. Great home base for day trips up the peninsula. My 10 year old looooved the loft bedroom, a space just for her! Made some great memories. There's no WiFi and TV is only satellite but our 10 and 12 year olds survived just fine!
