Great spot for a family vacation! Easy access to the beach, large pool with some shade, kiddie pool, and a pool cabana bar with food and drinks.
Condo was exactly what we wanted and hosts were very responsive and easy to work with! We brought beach towels but I’d also recommend bringing bath towels and washcloths, as the condo didn’t provide a lot but does have a nice washer and dryer so you can wash.

We had a great stay, everything was clean and modern. The space fit a family of 5 (3 kids perfectly). The view was perfect and steps from heated pool, hot tub and beach. We picked this place bc pool was well landscaped compared to others we saw. Also beach is great location, next to the condo beach area was for owners only section and no one was in that area. So didn’t feel packed.
Kitchen was well equitable with everything you need and also details like cleaning supplies there. Loved having laundry and nice open floor plan.
We loved the Bay wharf area- Tues fireworks, Wed fun cover band and all the restaurants had lived music. Very family friendly and not overly crowded.
Only negative was bathroom sinks didn’t drain well.

We've been to Sandestin several times but this was by far the best condo we've stayed at! The condo itself was spotless, and it was fully stocked with everything we would need. We loved how both bedrooms had an incredible view of the beach. The Westwinds building was also very impressive - convenient beach access, beautiful pool, and easy parking. We had absolutely zero complaints and will definitely be back!

This place was perfect for my family of 4. Pool area and beach’s access was close and easy. Both bedrooms and living rooms have an awesome view of the ocean.

Unit was very clean and organized. I liked that there were no carpets and the furniture was leather so less likely to trap germs etc. Kitchen had the basics needed. Only thing I would recommend are more serving bowls, serving spoons, and maybe rubbermaid containers for leftover food storage for the family’s that stay in and cook rather than eat out everyday when on vacation. But we were able to make it work so it wasn’t a big issue. The facility had great access to the beach and ramps were available to roll beach carts easily. Loved the landscaping on the property. Views from the condo were gorgeous!!! Westwinds resort is in a great location and close to everything you need. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shopping plazas are all close. There are TRAM passes included with condo rental which was a nice touch although we didn’t use them. Marcella was extremely nice and made the check in super easy. She was very responsive and willing to make our stay as comfortable and simple as possible. I would definitely consider staying at one of Marcella’s units in the future.

We had such a great time at this resort m. The unit was very clean, updated very nicely. Working with Marcella was very easy and she communicated with us quickly with any of our questions. Would highly recommend staying here- the view of the gulf and beach was beautiful!

Very disappointing unit!
Disgusting unit that was a total disappointment both in terms of condition of the condo and the property management. Husband and I are working professionals who sought a wonderful beach vacation only to be sorely disappointed. These are just some of the issues that we encountered at this condo
• Broken central AC- instead they left two filthy large portable AC units
• Furniture and bedding were of cheap quality…including the advertised beach chairs being broken and stained. Major updates needed.
• Patio screen doors broken and need replaced in bedroom and LR.
• All bathroom sinks and tubs clogged- handfuls of hair/grime pulled from drains
• The unit was very dirty upon arrival- needs deep cleaning
• Poor customer service- Property manager refused to move us to a different unit which we requested
• After 48 hours, the refrigerator was still not cold.
• We spent hours trying to resolve things with the property manager after our arrival when things should have been working and clean prior to our arrival
• The worst part of our stay was not bad weather- we could have waited that out. Sunny skies would not have made us stay at this condo. You can find much better in beautiful Destin than this unit.

This was a last minute trip for us. Unfortunately, our first booking with another condo fell through at the last minute, so I was super appreciative of the Instant Confirmation Of this one. Everything was great and easy. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Beach Resort!
Great place to stay! This was our third time staying at the resort, second time renting a Westwinds condo. This condo was clean, nicely furnished, and had great views of the beach. We would definitely rent it again.

Wonderful Westwinds Condo
Just finishing up our stay at Westwinds 4812 at Sandestin. The condo was clean, updated and comfortable. The unit had a very nice view and everything seemed to be newer/updated and in good working order. The view was very nice and the beach was perfect.
Our whole family found the condo to be clean, spacious and the perfect place to relax. We hope to book this unit again and return to the Destin area soon. Marcella was very easy to work with and very pleasant.

Peace of heaven
This condo was exactly like pictured. Views were amazing. We were there for business/ pleasure. The rental company sent our codes to us as promised the day of our arrival. The condo was very quiet, never heard anyone in the halls etc. The only complaint was it was not very clean. This place definitely needs a deep cleaning. The base boards were disgusting and I had to wear socks, because the floors were so dirty and my socks were filthy, which really showed you how dirty they were. I hope the owners see this because I would be very upset with my cleaning crew. The drapes had what looked like food stains from probably small children, looked like chitoes. A lot of the doors had dirty marks from hands or food. I have 4 children, all grown now and now grandchildren, so I can take messy and some uncleanliness, but truly the cleaning company is not doing their job FYI. The master bathroom tub/shower drain doesn’t drain and while showering fills up with water. Other than that, it was a beautiful place.

Great location and condo
Marcella was great. A few hiccups but she was on top of it and very quick to respond. Condo is beautifully decorated and painted. The location couldn't be any better and view couldn't be any prettier. This condo had a sunset view.

Great location in the beach and wonderful amenities at San Destin Resort
We loved the location on the beach and the resort area and town were great. The room felt a bit dirty. From the second we walked in, the fans were dusty, some lights didn’t work and the floors were sandy. Also a few sinks didnt drain quickly but I think it’s bc they didn’t have a vent. One of the showers didn’t drain well, but we had a small group so we just used the other one. The unit is generally updated and it was really nice otherwise.

Perfect Unit!
Even with Tropical Storm Alberta, still a great trip, largely because the unit was so nice. We had to spend more time than normal in the condo but clean, comfortable, and updated! Folks were easy to work with and very quick to answer any questions we had.

Great getaway
The condo was lovely! Perfect for our family. The owners were awesome and accommodated our check in needs and couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely rebook!

Master bed was lumpy with rock hard pillows. Layout of condo was odd and the kitchen was almost as big as the living space. There were absolutely no add ons—no beach chairs, extra towels, TP, not even a plastic cup or two etc. I will never rent again here.

Beautiful Resort
We had a great time here. The beaches and the weather were beautiful. The resort was very pretty and nice. The room wasn’t cleaned well so I would reccomend bringing a few Clorox wipes to wipe everything down with. The beds were clean and fine. The sunset views were great. Had a wonderful time!

Great time at Westwards in SanDestin
This property was exactly like the description, nicely decorated and well maintained. The condo had incredible views and we used the balcony all the time. The condo also had some beach chairs and sand toys which was nice. The only thing I felt there wasn't enough of was washcloths so you may want to bring some extras. Everything else was great! The Westwards property was beautifully landscaped all around and extremely well maintained. Especially the pool area which was large and tropically landscaped. And we've rented quite a few condos over the years and I think the communication with the property management was excellent. They send out reminder emails with all the details you need before and during your trip. In the past, I always need to call the companies to ask specific questions and all questions were answered before I even asked. Thanks for helping us have such a great family vacation!

Awesome place to stay!
Enjoyed our stay only wish I would have booked it for more days. Very clean and I will definitely recommend staying here. Destin is one of our favorite beaches!
