'Peaceful Valley Lake & Cabins'
We would like to invite you to come and stay in our two-bedroom beautifully appointed cabin also known as the "Gazebo Cabin." This cabin features a full kitchen, stocked with everything you need but food to make your stay enjoyable. There is ample parking, satellite television, a large yard, and a wrap-around porch. Enjoy yourself relaxing while drinking your morning cup of coffee watching the morning sun come up over the tree tops as you sit on the very peaceful gazebo. Outdoors, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing stay, including picnic tables, fire rings, gas grill, charcoal grill and a gorgeous private lake stocked for catch-and-release fishing. (Fish from shore or use our boat at no extra charge!) This cabin is within feet of the waters edge. As evening begins fall a nice stroll around the property and along the creek just enjoying and soaking up nature there is no better way to relax. This cabin is everything you want to get away from it all!

This place is like a piece of heaven! Beautiful land and cute little cabin. Place was very clean. The lake was very nice just right in front of the cabin. Had a great time catching fish and a few turtles. Will be back one day!

Property was exactly like it was described. Cabin is on a private drive of 4 cabins and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Owner is just minutes away if you need anything. Will definitely go back.

Owner's live near property so if you need anything they are right there. Beautiful area, nice cabins, and everything is there for you. Enjoyed feeding the ducks and fish. We caught several catfish 10 lbs plus and tons of Bluegill, but not many bass. Campfire, picnic area, and several great places to eat around the area. Wonderful time.

What an absolutely wonderful and peaceful place to stay, if you just want to unplug from life and relax this is definitely the place. It is easy to see that the owners put much love into the cabins and the landscape. Our cabin was super clean, the bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and other kitchen tools for us to cook our meals. It really has everything you need they don’t forget anything! We enjoyed our stay so much we will definitely be back.

This was the absolute most relaxing trip we have ever had! Timmy the owner was exceptionally the nicest man! He made sure we had everything we needed! He even came down and fished with us some! Our stay at the Gazebo House was a wonderful experience. My son and his friend enjoyed fishing. Walker, my 18 year old, caught a 25 lb catfish! My favorite experience was sipping coffee, early morning, on the porch that overlooks the peaceful lake. I now want a lake house! I highly recommend this place.

The perfect cabin for us!

The perfect place for a peaceful and beautiful getaway. The cabin and host met all our expectations and more! Between the pond/creek, boating/fishing, feeding ducks, comfy cabin, and breath taking sceneries you will have all you need. We got a surprise snow storm and still loved every minute of it! Timmy and Rose were unbelievable host and made us feel like family with their hospitality while still giving us the space we wanted for our family adventures. We are already checking our calendars for our next visit! We made memories to last a life time and my son said he could even move there he loved it so much! Thanks again for everything and for sharing this little peace of heaven with us!

This place is awsome, beautiful place, I couldn't get the bass to bite (I caught 3 small ones) but I switched to catfishing and caught 8 in about one hour. I caught several bluegil also. The only thing I could say negative is that it was hard to regulate the temperature in the cabin. Once the weather warms upt this will not be an issue. A great time and will go again.

The photos were exactly true. Comfortable cabin with wrap around porch and swing. Ducks came around every time the door opened but I loved it. Even with cold weather I watched the sun come up! Perfect place to relax.

An absolute dream of a weekend getaway!

We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay at the Gazebo Cabin! The cabin itself was quaint and stocked with everything you need for a peaceful, phone free, getaway weekend. The property was in immaculate shape and the views were breathtaking! We loved sitting on the porch looking out at the lake and watching the friendly ducks and geese swim and waddle about. Our favorite part was going out on the little boat and just taking a leisurely ride around the lake. We didn't want to come inside!! We also took a great stroll around the backside of the lake following the creek that runs back there. It rained almost the entire weekend but every moment when it stopped we were outside enjoying the views. Timmy and Rose were phenomenal hosts and were incredibly sweet and accommodating! They made sure we were well taken care of from the moment we started unpacking the car. Their property really is a little slice of heaven and we are already frantically checking our calendars for another chance to come back up there. We foresee many weekend getaway trips in our future! Hopefully next time the weather is a little warmer so the fish bite! If you're looking for the perfect mini trip away from the hustle and bustle and want time to relax with family and enjoy nature, this place is it. There was not much of a cell signal and no wifi (there was satellite tv though!!) but that's just the way we wanted it!

I can’t say enough great things about this property. If you’re a fisherman, the fish darn near jump in the boat for you. I’ve never seen so many catfish and bluegill in all my life. The property is like a fairytale - perfectly landscaped with every detail perfectly thought out and executed. The cabin is beautiful and equipped with everything you need and more. Timmy and Rose were easy to reach and most hospitable. We will definitely be back.

This place was all of that and some. The property was just as pictured. It was just enough for my family, right on the lake and perfect for a weekend off the grid! I will say that you have to leave the property and drive about a mile to make calls, etc. Again, we needed to unplug from society so this wasn't a big deal. We can't wait to stay there again soon.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Valley. The location offered seclusion and opportunity to disconnect for awhile; the lake was calm and beautiful and our boys loved the fishing and wildlife. With Lake Cumberland and Wolf Creek Dam 15-20min away and Cumberland Falls a little more than an hour, we had plenty to keep us busy when we weren’t soaking in the privacy of Peaceful Valley. Truly a restful and recharging experience and we look forward to coming back.

Best Vacation Ever!

This was the PERFECT place to get away for our spring break. My two boys, ages 7 & 10, my mom, and I stayed here for 3 nights. I wish we would have been able to stay longer! The weather was perfect, the fish were biting everyday (to our delight!) and the two man boat was so convenient for heading across the lake to play in the creek on the other side! We spent the majority of our time outside, enjoying the property. There were games for the kids to play (outside & inside) and plenty of seating on the porch and gazebo for reading or having a cup of coffee. The cabin was very cozy and had all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. I thought the beds were very comfortable and there were extra pillows/ blankets if needed. We went to the grocery (about 10 minutes away) on the first night, and then we never left until it was time to go home! We are so thankful we found this hidden gem, just a few hours from home. We definitely hope to make this an annual getaway spot for our family!
