This was a beautiful cabin with a wonderful view overlooking the mountains. The cabin was not hard to find and it wasn’t difficult to commute from the cabin into the beautiful town of Helen GA. Overall great property managers and beautiful spacious cabin. Loved it.

Plenty of room for our group. Kids loved hanging out in the basement. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed the toiletries and soap, sponges, dishwater tabs etc they provide. My favorite part was the huge wrap around porch with all the rocking chairs. Great place to stay close to Helen.

Beautiful, spacious, clean home with an amazing view! All of the beds were comfy (bring your own pillows though if you have neck or back issues) A really easy drive into Helen. We recommend “Cowboys & Angels” for dinner and definitely check out Valhalla Spa for a massage or facial treatment. The house itself is off all dirt/gravel and some pretty narrow roads so keep that in mind when choosing a vehicle & planning the time of year you’ll be going! But plenty of parking and space to back in and out at the actual house. We used the recommended firewood delivery from Sheila and that was such a breeze and really nice to have fires every night! We were just three girlfriends this trip but I would absolutely bring my kids back during the summer to do tubing & fishing! Love the house and had a wonderful trip!!

We wanted a place to get away to celebrate Christmas as an extended family, explore a new area, and be able to all stay together. This cabin allowed us to do just that. Even though we had brought extras of a lot of supplies It was perfectly equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bedrooms: Plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels; plethora of pots, pans, and utensils. We would definitely pick this cabin again and recommend it to our friends.

Lazy Bear is a great cabin to get away for the every day rush. We hit perfecting time and caught the changing of the leaves - what a beautiful scenery. Just a few minutes away from downtown Helen which offers up its own fun. We will def be back in the future.

We had the best time, the cabin was beautiful and clean! It gave you that homey feeling while being there also we felt safe. 5 girls in the cabin we were nervous but it’s so secluded and at the top of the hill no one came unannounced. The view was spectacular, so nice sitting on the porch in the morning and drinking coffee. It was a great experience and I would love to come back again one day!

The cabin was very well appointed with everything you could need. There were games, pool table and arcade games. It was very large and nicely decorated. It was about 10 min drive to downtown Helen. I would definitely return

This cabin has a gorgeous view, great maintained surrounding grounds with a fire pit and indoor arcade for the kids… we used our packnplays to block the stair cases… for those traveling with kids that is the only child proofing necessary which put our mind at ease… the stairs will not fit standard gates… the hot tub was not working during our stay but we enjoyed the bon fire and fireplace

Amazing view of the mountains. The cabin could use a little sprucing up- carpet upstairs is stained and very worn. The curtains and blinds were dusty. But, our family enjoyed the view, various activities, and were overall very comfortable.

Lazy Bear cabin is a beautiful cabin that is spacious and well laid out. The view is spectacular and the location is quite private. we had a wonderful stay and it was just the thing for our family gathering of four couples. we found the front steps up to the main deck were very poorly lit and a bit treacherous after dark. The kitchen had considerable grease buildup over the stove and food drips running down the cabinets. The bed linens appear to be clean but quite shabby.While I certainly expected a cleaner environment I would love to stay there again.

Amazing cabin! Super clean and spacious. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Gorgeous views. Very peaceful. But, a tough, winding, gravel trip up the mountain. Not sure some cars (especially in the rain) could do it. Wish we’d known about the roads up, but we’d return because the property was spectacular!

This house was great for 8 old friends to gather and spend a weekend. Plenty of space… beds were small for a house this size. But other than that it is well appointed, the kitchen was great having everything we needed to cook a huge meal for 8 folks.. located close to Helen. Roads to house were narrow but fine.. just a perfect quite getaway. We would rent this house again! Thanks for sharing your home with us !
