Very clean , easy to find, all the comfort of home.

Great cabin for a family getaway. Close to all amenities, and is well maintained. The wifi range is a little spotty, but it goes well with the retro theme of the cabin :)

Beautiful place in a great location. Hated to leave.

It was my first trip to the Asheville area in years and this cabin did not disappoint. Easy drive into town, but rural and pastoral setting. Cabin was clean and in immaculate condition. I used to rent out a cabin of my own, so I know how hard it is to keep it in that type of condition. Relaxing and private and the owner made the process a breeze. A lot of helpful instructions onsite. I would definitely stay there again. My gratitude to the owner for a wonderful experience and for making it easy.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed everything about this cabin. It was so well stocked and all of the amenities were first class. We spent Thanksgiving week with our adult daughters and we all had a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this property for anytime of the year vacation.

We enjoyed the proximity for fishing. The cabin is centrally located to Cherokee, the Davidson River, Mills River and other great streams in western North Carolina. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked.

Our stay was perfect! We had the best time! The cabin was clean and just as described online. Check in was so easy and communication was great. The views from this cabin are spectacular! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, just bring your food. Linens and towels are supplied. I highly recommend this cabin if you are headed to the Asheville area

We had a great stay here in late October. Cabin was easy to find, beautiful, well stocked. Lots of wildlife nearby - saw lots of cows and turkeys. Gorgeous views from all sides. Nice fire pit in the back yard. Open, easy communication with the owner.

Our hope was for a relaxing getaway with friends and this cabin was just the right size and location. The views were stunning! It was so quiet and peaceful and convenient to Asheville.

The cabin was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. 10-15 mins to downtown Asheville, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. It was perfect for a golf trip with some friends. Gerlinde the owner was very nice and made the whole process super easy. Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying in this cozy cabin! We especially enjoyed the views from the wraparound porch. It was such a peaceful setting to come home to after a day exploring Asheville. The location couldn't have been better and made it easy to get around. The cabin was nicely furnished with everything you could need. Thank you for sharing your peaceful haven with us!

This cabin was everything described and more. You literally need to bring clothes and drink coffee watching the sunrise. We will definitely be back to this beautiful, comfortable, immaculate property.

This cabin was picture perfect! The views were amazing and everything inside the cabin was impeccable. We were able to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. I will be back and recommend renting from Gerlinda. She has spent a lot of time and energy creating this wonderful home. Thank you for allowing my family to enjoy your home!

Perfect location, beautiful scenery, well stocked very clean cabin. We enjoyed daily visits from the bull, cows and turkeys. Spent time on the porch, loved hearing the screendoor squeak- it took us back to childhood memories. The cool mornings were perfect for walking and late in the evening we brought out the telescope to look at planets and stars. We had a very relaxing stay at Country Haven. Thank you to the hosts of this beautiful cabin, we felt very welcomed.

Cabin is in great shape. Nice location. Close enough to drive into town but far enough away to where you feel you are out in the country.

Our family stayed for three nights. Very clean and everything you need to get started is provided. FYI, coffee is a regular Mr. Coffee drip maker. I say that only because we always wonder if were going to buy ground coffee and then it be a pod machine and noone else seemed to note it.
Great views from the porch to give that mountain feeling without having to actually drive up a mountain. Easy drive in and out to get where you're going. Neighbors are close but were never a bother. Turkeys a plenty and it was fun to watch the bull next door. Kids loved chasing fireflies in the yard.
The only knock against this cabin is that the walls and floors are thin. Every sound is heard by everyone. However, this is true of every mountain log cabin in which we've ever stayed.
We loved it and would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Country Haven is the perfect name for this place. It was by far our favorite part of the trip to Asheville. The cabin is extremely clean and welcoming. It is a sanctuary after busy days in Asheville. The hosts provide all of the basic supplies needed for a stay here. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place.

This experience was exceptional. The cabin was incredibly well stocked and absolutely spotless. Everything was thought of by Linde, and it was beautiful. The surrounding area is calm, quiet, and peaceful. We felt so comfortable and very much at home. We fully plan to return! The cabin is centrally located to a number of destinations, but is perfect to come home to. We couldn't have imagined better experience!

The cabin was clean and spacious. It sits on a beautiful piece of land and the view is lovely. There is a nice 3 car parking area. As someone who lives in the city, I really enjoyed the mountains in the distance and the sound of the wind rushing through the nearby trees. When it rained, it was so calming to hear. It was accessible to Uber or Lyft services for when we wanted to go into Asheville. And the owner was responsive to my questions. She even sent me a list of events going on the weekend I was going to be there. I definitely want to stay there again.

Surprised my husband for his 65th birthday with a couple of friends meeting us at the house before leaving for our trip to the mountains and then our daughter later at the cabin. He was really surprised as well at the sight of the cabin . The cabin was perfect and so comfortable even though we did have some stormy weather . It’s a close distance to Asheville and anything you’d look for yet quiet and serene. We felt very cared for and my husband said it was the best birthday he’s had . We would love to return and spend more time at the cabin itself since we were on the go so much ( although that was fun too!). Than you so much .

Perfect stay to catch up with girlfriends. All the special touches and accommodations made the stay like home. We did not need anything except our selves and the food we wanted to eat. Cookware and condiments were provided. Beds were super comfy with plenty of blankets. We especially enjoyed the blankets provided on the porch to enjoy the view of mountain range without freezing. We will definitely come again.

It was exactly what we were looking for- a cozy cabin overlooking the mountains. Very cozy

The property was so clean and well kept. It was the perfect distance to everything in Asheville and far enough away to make you feel like you really had a “getaway”. If you require a strong internet connection then that is the only drawback (not a complaint from us!). The views make up for any time you thought you wanted to spend staring at a screen. Take a deep breath and enjoy everything around you.

We have stayed here 2x and love it! The view is amazing and the private road is a lovely walk. The neighboring cows are so friendly and the area is peaceful. The home owner is very kind and the beds are comfortable! Very conveniently located! We will be back again!

We were all so pleasantly surprised with the charm and cleaniness of this cabin. The views are spectacular! Can't say enough about that! Close to anything you might want to do. Perfect place place for a small family gathering.

We loved staying in this beautiful home. The views from the porch were beautiful and having porch blankets was the icing on the cake! The property was immaculate and well-appointed. Linde was very welcoming and we felt right at home. Truly a wonderful experience staying here.

We loved it! Very clean and everything we needed was provided. Beautiful view of the mountains and only a few minutes from Asheville. We would definitely stay here again! My ONLY suggestion is that the own add handrails to the steps at the front door. I have mobility issues and must have handrails, so I had to walk around to the side door. Not a huge deal but handrails in the front would be very helpful.

We will absolutely be staying here again in the future! Very clean, everything you could need or want. Great views. We stayed here for our elopement wedding weekend and wouldn't have done it any other way. Asheville is a close drive for dinner(and drinks) but cabin still feels isolated from the city life. Recommended to my family and friends.

The cabin was lovely and the view breathtaking I’ve stayed in several VRBO properties and this one was by far the best furnished with all the amenities. I can’t think of anything they didn’t supply. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. We loved the day we spent at the Biltmore and the day we were in Black Mountain. The fire pit was an added bonus. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!!!

Property had excellent views and was very clean. Very very well equipped. Nice covered porch with chairs to enjoy the view. Only thing I can think of to improve is the beds. A few of them are squeaky.
