Loved the location. The beach area is beautiful! Loved the family atmosphere. I loved the fire pit that we used with other families. Even though we were not there long enough, I loved that there were many activities that you could rent to use.
I loved the kitchenette and all the pots pans, plates, utensils. If we were there more than one night, it would’ve been a great usage. You can tell the owners care a lot.
Well, I know they know this, but the parking is tough.
When we walked in the room there was A LOT of Sand on the floors. We had to sweep even before we brought in our luggage. When we finally were able to get in bed for the night, around 10pm. Our sheets were not clean. There was actual sand in the bed sheets as I was pulling the sheets and blanket back to get in. (We had not even sat on the bed before this) It was too late to call anyone. We were exhausted and I just wanted to sleep. We used our own blankets. Also around 10 am when we were trying to soak in the last hour of our vacation, they started mowing. So it went from tranquility, to loud mowing. Which I get, you have to mow. I just wished it would’ve been AFTER check out time.

Shuttle to the docks to go to mackinaw island.

The host was at the desk within 10 minutes of arrival
Bathroom floor 30 year old linoleum that was quite water damaged. Sinks barely drained. Requested towels for #of guests I had on Saturday morning and host never replied and no one at desk. Texted host about boat rental… never replied, no one at desk.

nice little 1 bedroom cabin. had a stove, refrigerator, microwave, even a toaster oven. I was there in May and summer had not begun so only a couple cabins were rented when I was there so very quiet. right on the beach so in summer months it would be great for water fun.
nothing I didn’t like really. I was surprised the hand soap dispensers in the bathroom as well as the body wash and shampoo dispensers were completely empty so bring soaps. I had shampoo with me so I managed and this wasn’t really a big deal to me.

Very warm and relaxed - lovely close proximity to the beach. Comfy bed and lovely bed linen.
The place just didn’t quite match the pictures and description so needed a bit of a readjustment of expectation.

The location was perfect. Loved being right on the beach. The little cabins were quaint. The time of year we were there was very quiet.
Everything was good until the toilet would not flush during the night of our last night. Signs said if the helpful girl in the office was not there, call Lou. There was a man who said he was Lou who also said he did not speak English. I showed him a picture of a plugged toilet and he nodded, but continued on his phone call. Thankful for walmart restrooms. And then, I went to wash up my dishes and found there was no dish soap. Grossed me out to think how the people before us cleaned those plates.

Nice location on the lake! Owners provide wood for evening fires. We enjoyed a quiet evening, sitting in a swing, enjoying the view and sounds of the lake.
Checkout time of 10 could be an hour later as most of the local places we wanted to visit didn't open until 11.

Very kind and welcoming hostess. Nice beach on the bay. Cabin had everything needed even in the kitchenette. A last minute one night stay for Triathlon in morning and it was very quiet night.

Turned on oven gas filled cabin.Made me sick had to evacuate cabin for 2 hours. Management was called and told no response.This could have seriously injured or blew up the place.

I did not receive breakfast. I enjoyed how comfortable my bed was. The beach was spacious and very clean.
There isn't much I didn't like about the resort. It would have been nice to have an opportunity to cancel my room in case of plans changing.

Right on Lake Huron, hearing the rush of the waves constantly was very soothing. Even when it's hot you have a constant breeze. Beds very comfortable, climate control responded quickly, no weird smells or bugs (fish flies are a given in Michigan, and don't count!)
Looks freshly painted, very clean.
It's unfair that they put the negative first when it was overall a great place to stay with a family/kids. That said there were some extremely loud people in a neighboring property because they are right up against one another, too low shower head and short hot water sometimes, and very tight parking are the few drawbacks

The place was very clean. It had more amenities (a fridge, towels, soap, kitchen utensils, etc) than I was told on the website and emails that I had received. I bought a bottle of wine, but realized I didn't bring a corkscrew, but when I opened the kitchen drawer--there one was! Thank you!
I wish your website and email told me of the newer amenities (fridge, towels, soap, utensils, etc.) that the room had. I spent A LOT of time packing a bunch of stuff that I didn't need.

I liked that it had everything, fire pit with free wood, chairs, games, grill, towels , utensils, coffee maker, fridge, on the beach. It was very clean and a very friendly staff.
We only stayed 1 night it was a little pricey for the 1 night. We couldn't take advantage of everything it had to offer. But we will be back for a longer weekend.

The staff was amazing. Lots of stuff to do on the property. Beautiful beach. It absolutely made our wedding. Can't wait to go back!!!!
