It's a beautiful slice of old Florida for the sole use of the two apartments and your guests. You won't want to leave.

Nice clean place. Fenced in courtyard. Plenty of privacy. We enjoyed a nice date night and a lazy morning. Would stay again

We only stayed for a short time, we met the owner on arrival, who was very sweet and helpful. We were the only one’s there so we had the whole place to ourselves.
It’s really close to a big park, with tennis facility and walkable to the marina and a downtown area.

The place was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. Nice and close to everything. We had one little hiccup but it was addressed quickly. Great communication from the host. My dog doesn't get to be off leash outside much with where we live and she loved being able to be free in the yard. There is also a nice dog park near by. Wish we could have stayed longer, would stay again.

My husband , myself and our dog spent a few days on the gulf side of Florida. Since this was pet friendly with an enclosed yard it already was fabulous.
When we pulled up and off loaded we were immediately enveloped in coziness. The description of drop your keys and go was right on. We walked to a great Italian restaurant across the street. We didn’t have to drive too far for any of the daily trips we did.

My husband and I needed a getaway and we are so happy we chose to stay here. Best sleep I have had in a long time! Our host Christie was not only friendly but so accommodating. Definitely would stay here again!!!

Exactly as described, perfectly nestled, and walking distance to loads, safe, warm neighborhood. I did not cook while I was there, so the smol kitchenette did not get used fully, I also did not do laundry while there. Extremely suited for exactly what I needed. The owner is the most sparkling person I’ve met. I would keep her forever, warm and helpful, a literal gem. I was confortable and satisfied the whole weekend

This condo is a great place to stay if you want to walk downtown to some outstanding restaurants! Great helpful and friendly host with great communication. Easy check in and out.
Would definitely stay again.

Loved Christie’s backyard oasis with the scent of jasmine filling the air! The bed was extremely comfortable with the softest sheets! Having access to a washer and dryer meant we didn’t need to pack as much. We really enjoyed everything Sarasota had to offer: golf, museums and beach! Thanks, Christie!

The host was very nice and kept us updated. the apt. was small but nice and an excellent location w/ a beautiful courtyard. The only issue was she was not quite ready for us by the time we arrived but she kept us updated and refunded our pet deposit. Would still reserve it again. Beautiful walkable neighborhood.

A small, but clean and cozy apartment within walking distance to downtown restaurants and cafés, and the marina and more. We enjoyed 4 weeks there with minimal use of the car.

This is our second time staying at this property in Sarasota and we just love it there!!! It's quiet and quaint but walking distance to everything! And there is a great outdoor space where you can view the stars between the beautiful trees in the back yard. The owner is so helpful and nice. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great get away week or weekend in Sarasota!!!

Totally enjoyed our stay and meeting the owner, Christie. She couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely amazing. Just a short drive to everything this area offers. We had such a great experience. Loved the place and always felt comfortable. We can’t wait to return.

Great location in historic Laurel Park. Near everything. Hostess very helpful. Terrific garden area in back. Barbecued almost every night. Great fun.
Hostess gave us a pleasant surprise to go with our final dinner in a classy restaurant nearby.

There are not enough words to express our enjoyment at Christie Abbott’s property ! The location is great, the ease of finding it great, the check-in was awesome and finding the well decorated apartment as if you were home. She has provided an excellent property with a great value. Thanks Christie, we’ll be back !,

I don’t even know where to begin! First of all this location is perfect… easy walk to Main St for restaurants, farmers mkt, boutique shopping, Whole Foods …but while you are “home” ( which is exactly what the unbelievably gracious host, Christie, creates for you to experience) you feel like you belong here and really don’t want to leave. It’s about a 10/15 min drive to St Armand’s and the beach in Lido Key. It’s a one bdrm apt with LR/ Kitchenette but the fabulously bohemian back yard is where you’ll want to sit with your coffee in the am and wine and cheese in the early evening. Host Christie has been responsive to our EVERY need This is comfortable, super clean, quiet, w/d is here for your use, you have your own parking space…honestly, it’s pretty perfect!

Our host was friendly and helpful. The yard in back was thoughtfully equipped with a nice seating arrangement. The apartment was small but had everything we needed. It's near a nice park and the Legacy Trail as well as Main Street and restaurants.

Quaint small getaway with a beautiful outdoor patio. It's right behind the artist colony and a new coffee shop with good scones and breakfast.
Location is convenient to everywhere in downtown Sarasota, the botanical gardens, the parks, and shuttle to the beach. You could honestly not need a car.
The unit is small but very clean and comfortable and all the necessities you need for a short stay and if you want to cook in a little.
Communication with the owner was easy and no issues at all with the place. It was a great quiet stay

Very much enjoyed my stay in this apartment, right in the heart of Laurel Park. Easy walk to the downtown waterfront was about 20 minutes, and walking to Main St. restaurants was a little shorter than that. Rental was very clean! The backyard is a quiet oasis and the Laurel Park neighborhood is very old Florida and unique. Appreciated the nice artwork in the unit. And the owner is very responsive and accommodating. No complaints!

Great location in Laurel Park. Walk to downtown, restaurants. Walk to Sarasota Bay. Close to airport. Exceptionally clean and newly renovated. A quiet cozy place, one of my favorites. Christie, the owner, was exceptional. 5-Star all the way. I was “Wowed” and can’t wait to stay there again.

Christie is an excellent host and the property was exactly what we expected it to be. It was a short 10 min ride to Lido beach and St. Armand’s Circle. Christie has ensured that you have everything to enjoy your stay. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Sarasota.

The house is in the heart of the picturesque Laurel Park neighborhood, which was very convenient to visit my family on St. Armand's Key. Every square inch of the apartment in the older house has been updated. It was impeccably clean and the furnishings were very comfortable, although the bed could use an update. The owner was incredibly helpful and check in could not have been easier. I texted her that she was the best VRBO host I've had, and I totally mean this. While the place would not be appropriate for more than two people because of its size, it was perfect for me. The cute backyard felt like a semi-tropical oasis, and the quiet was welcome after a full day of activities with the family. I'll definitely consider this property for rental the next time I'm in Sarasota.

I absolutely love the place. It's a quaint little spot to stay when you're visiting Sarasota. Very clean and all the amenities one could need when you're home away from home. A 5 minute drive to Whole Foods or Publix. It's convenient to walkabout restaurants in the neighborhood, a 15 minute drive to pet friendly park/beach location. And there is the Mote Aquarium nearby which I thought was pretty cool to visit for a couple of hours. Christie A. is the best. Very kind person that will do anything (within reason) to accommodate your stay. Thank you again Christie for everything!

Pet friendly too. Owner left nice dog blanket, bowls, and waste bags. The apartment is just enough for a couple and a pet. Communication with owner was simple and we felt more like guests than renters.

The plane was decorated so zen and nice. The backyard was beautiful especially at night. Walking distance to everything or a quick Uber. Fantastic communication between owner the entire time. It’s a great little retreat especially with our doggies. Loved it!!!!

An unforgettable long holiday weekend at Christie's in Sarasota. Cozy, well-appointed, prime location! A rare find and a hidden gem

Christie has a lovely home in the heart of downtown Sarasota. You can easily drive to the beach within 15 minutes or 2 minutes to all of the restaurants and shops downtown. I love the way the home is decorated and how updated it is. Communication was fast and easy with her via text message. The only issues I had during our stay was the heavy cigarette smell on all of the towels which made it difficult to want to dry off with them. Also, since this is an old house, you can literally hear everything the upstairs renters are saying/doing, which made it hard to sleep during their late night bedroom sessions. I wish there would have been a full length mirror somewhere too, but all in all it was a great place to stay!
