About this house rental
We invite you to enjoy our beautiful, spacious, year-round home, White Oaks, on the North Shore of Green Lake. NEW IN 2024: OUR HOUSE NOW HAS AIR CONDITIONING AND A NEW OVEN!
A popular vacation destination, the town of Green Lake is within easy walking distance from our house, but far enough away for you to enjoy the privacy our property affords. Green Lake is Wisconsin's deepest inland lake and provides ample opportunities for great fishing and water sports. Bustling in the summer, Green Lake is a serene and picturesque get-away spot for fall, winter and spring as well.
We have a private pier. Should you bring or rent a boat, we have a shore station (boat lift) to keep your boat (max. 4,000 lbs.) safely out of the water when not in use. The large, gently sloping front lawn is perfect for a variety of yard games...croquet and bean bags are our personal favorites.
Built in the late 1800's, the house, named 'White Oaks,' was significantly damaged by a fire in 1995 and was rebuilt in 1998. The house now features vintage charm with a number of features from the old house combined with modern conveniences.
The highlight of the house is the original wrap-around screened-in porch. The porch itself is huge (over 800 square feet) and is a perfect spot to relax on one of the gliders or rocking chairs and enjoy the lake breeze anytime of day, or for an al fresco dinner on the large dining table.
Inside, four bedrooms are on the main floor and each feature either a bathroom or sink for increased privacy, and all of them have a ceiling fan. In the basement, a six-person bunk room is a perfect retreat for the kids. There is some additional sleeping space on a pull-out couch and futon. The captions for the pictures of each bedroom describe the bed configurations.
On the main floor, a large eat-in kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cookware and flatware, as well as common appliances such as coffee makers. The kitchen opens to a large dining room with a piano and loft overhead. The living room has a flat screen TV with Roku and a DVD/VCR for watching movies at night. The basement features a large recreation room with ping-pong, foosball and other games. We also offer cable and wireless internet access.
If you are a golfer, there are several excellent golf courses nearby including The Golf Courses of Lawsonia and Tuscumbia Golf Course (both of which are in Green Lake) and Mascoutin Golf Club (Berlin). Cycling enthusiasts will enjoy the trails around the lake. Other activities nearby include The 300 Club Bowl & Arcade (Green Lake) and the Marcus Campus Cinema movie theater (downtown Ripon), just in case you have a day where the weather isn't cooperating.
Whether you are looking for a golf vacation, a week of swimming, fishing and boating, or time to relax with family or friends, we welcome you to our home. We wish we were there now!

Our stay at White Oaks was nothing short of amazing! The house has everything we could want or need! My new happy place on earth is the giant screened porch overlooking beautiful Green Lake! Check in was simple and there was great communication with the property manager!
There was a large group of adults and teenagers staying in the house and it could not have been more perfect, with space for everyone to spread out. The teens could stay up in the kitchen and basement without keeping the rest of the guests awake. The dock is another awesome place, with great fishing, swimming, and kayaking!
White Oaks is a 10/10 and I hope to be able to book again next year!

Beautiful setting right on Green Lake and located near Lawsonia Golf Course. Serene atmosphere and fire pit near the lake was perfect. Ideal place for family gatherings.

The property was great- beautiful wraparound screened in porch with lots of sofas and chairs and fantastic view of lake. We toasted marshmallows around fire pit, were able to grill on gas grill, there is a huge kitchen, lots of games for teens like ping pong and a dining table that easily fit the 20 of us for games every night. The boys fished every day on the pier. Great venue for family gatherings.

Our family had a wonderful vacation on the lake! Home was beautiful and spacious enough for our group of 12!
We would definitely book again

Beautiful home...no air-conditioning...ugh...was 83, 85 and 87 in the house during the day. North side of lake gets a lot of seaweed and floating debris when all the boats stir things up. totally enjoyed the home itself...lots of character.

Great house!! Large and breezy, even in late July-early August. We had 16 family members ranging in age from 4 to 68. Something fun to do for everyone! The large wraparound porch was awesome and we spent many hours there! Definitely a 5 star vacation!

The property has a large screened porch with a view of the lake, which is where we spent most of our time, from morning coffee to dinner outside. The view of the lake is great, with fewer trees at the lake side than other places. Location is convenient to boat rental place, and is middle of the lake, so convenient to either end.

We so enjoyed this house, and it had enough beds, bathrooms, and sleeping places for our group of 16. The location right on the lake with its rolling backyard and own boat lift, and walking distance to town were awesome. I think our favorite part of the house was the wraparound screened back porch, where we spent hours reading, napping, and eating, not to mention enjoying the view of the lake from there. There is a lot of Green Lake to love!

We stayed in the house in the middle of August and did not need air conditioning. It gets cool and breezy at night. We were a two family group with many teenagers and this house was perfect for us. We never felt crowded and we had a great time. The porch needs to be hosed off but other than that the place was perfect and we would love to stay again.

We rented this house to celebrate or 50th Wedding Anniversary! We are a family of 11 and we all just loved it!
With 4 spacious bedrooms,a 3 bunk bedroom,3 1/2 baths,we all had room to enjoy.
There are ceiling fans in every room and cool lake breezes at night. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are spacious and beautiful in decor. But the screened in porch is to die for!!! Tons of glider sofas, wicker rockers, chairs, and relaxy chairs and it is just charming. We will never forget our beautiful candlelight Anniversary dinner on the porch...all decorated and prepared by our children and grandchildren! It was perfect!
We also loved the water, dock and yard. We had lots of fun in the water pontooning and floating, and we had great campfires at night.
We loved this house! We have booked it for our 51st Anniversary!!!!

What an amazing week my family and I spent on the lake. We spent most of our time in the water or on the wonderful wrap around porch. It is huge! I can't express enough how lovely it was to all be able to enjoy the cooler evenings on the porch with the entire family. The house was impeccably clean, the grounds are very well kept. The kitchen is fully stocked, better and any other place we have stayed. Plenty of space to spread out and read or play games. We had ping pong and foosball tournaments which the kids and adults enjoyed on the one rainy day and several evenings. And the best thing was while there are 2 TV's they were never turned on the entire week. The memories made will last a life time. We plan to come back for sure! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Phillip!
