Close to the serene beautiful beaches in Seaside Park, and close enough to (but not in the middle of) the excitement of the boardwalk at Seaside Heights. The house had everything we needed, and enough room for three teenagers and two adults. The bunk bedrooms were great for the teens, and each adult had their own queen sized bedroom. We use the barbecue and prepared meals in the kitchen that had everything we needed. We will be back, and highly recommend this beautiful seaside Park vacation home!

New Year's Eve Getaway - Isolating in a different place
We decided to get away for the new year at the last minute. All things considering the beach seemed like a viable option. Seaside Park was quiet. The house was in perfect order, the interior paint colors nice. The bed was comfortable. Our 4 yo grandson joined us for the first night and he loved sleeping in the top bunk. The corner faux fireplace is a great addition to the downstairs. Sheets and towels were provided and there were paper towels, napkins and tp. Had to make up the beds, but it was nice not to have to lug all that stuff. Additional blankets and pillows were stored in the hall closet. We hit the beach for shelling and the boardwalk from end to end. Not crowded and most folks were masked. Nice location for sunset viewing. While much is closed for the season we were able to get curb side pick up at Bum Rodgers for dinner our first night. Formosa Bakery in Ortley served for our breakfast. Internet was down much of our time there which meant we had very little options for tv viewing, but we were able to use our phone for music. The cable company was working on the wires, but I guess they were not able to get things working. We headed to Pt Pleasant to take the grand to the aquarium and purchase seafood for our dinner, a nice morning. Weather held up and it was pleasant for Dec/Jan in New Jersey. Got a Marucas pie for lunch when the parents stopped in to pick up the 4 yo. NYE dinner was cooked in the kitchen which was fine for putting together a meal for two. The house next door had bright lights on 24/7 on either side of the garage which really made using the porch less than desirable. And with the weather as it was we could have spent time there. The string lights across the porch are cute but not needed because of the neighbors lights. Roll up blinds on that side on the windows would be an improvement. The interior overhead lighting is stark. We moved a lamp from one of the bedrooms to the dinning room. The bathroom is fine. We vacation each summer at another home on the street and like the location. This home is a comfortable, clean and cute place. Would be great in the summer. Would recommend. Beats a hotel room by a long shot!

Another great trip
This was our second year staying at the house and we were not disappointed. It’s in a great location on a quiet street just steps away from beautiful sunsets on the bay and a block from the beach (beach tags included). All my questions and requests were answered in a timely and very satisfactory way to make us feel safe and comfortable staying there during this time. Being able to bring our dog was an added bonus. We will be back again next year!

Short stay
Everything was as expected except upstairs heat did not work on a 28 degree night.

Perfect for Fall Fishing
If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a Fall get-away, this is it. It was so easy to get to the beach for surf-fishing each morning and evening, and Grumpy’s Bait & Tackle is only a few blocks away. Off-season parking is a breeze anywhere. I’m sure this house would also be great during the summer. (Be aware the bathroom , especially the shower, is very small. If one in your party was, how shall we say...rather large...they might have some difficulty with that.) I would book this house again.

Just what we needed
Old house with well done new upgrades. Great portch and deck for relaxing. Walking distance to boardwalk was a huge plus. Easy checkin. A+!

Cute cottage just has some issues
We booked this little cottage based entirely on the listing as this was our first time in Seaside. Location was very close to bay.. Was much longer distance to boardwalk. Not short walk as advertised. Also, no off street parking was available and street was always full of cars so difficult to find parking spot. Inside house was clean, except floors were quite dirty and ceiling fan in kitchen shook really bad when we turned it on. The biggest downside is the bathroom. There is only one very very tiny bathroom and it is downstairs. There was only 4 of us and it was super tight. Can’t imagine 6-8 people trying to share that bathroom. Lastly, neighbors were very loud in the evenings until around 11pm so it made it difficult with kids going to sleep. On positive side owner is very responsive.

Amazing location
We had a great week at the house. It is a very short walk to the bay so we saw the sunset each night. Only a short walk to the beach as well. The beach badges were convenient to have. The neighborhood is quiet and it was great to be able to bring our dog. Laura was extremely responsive to all my questions which was very much appreciated. We will be back next year!

pleasant and peaceful
This house was clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen is small but that didn't matter to us at all we loved eating on back deck (large table with umbrella) or inside at pretty dining table. It was the only house on the block with shade during the day and you caught a nice breeze from the bay. A 1 minute walk to a stunning sunset! Thank you for everything.

Perfect for a family trip!
Location was perfect! Short walk to the beach, and close enough to the boardwalk if you wanted to walk it as well. Laura and her daughter were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I feel went above and beyond to make us happy with the house. It was a little difficult to manage 5 adults and 2 kids with only 1 small bath, but the other amenities and ease of contact with Laura made it a very small price to pay. We will definitely be staying here for our next beach vacation!

House is on the older side.
The house was functional and the location is fantastic. Laura responds quickly to your needs. We loved the outside and walking to the bay. The only issues we had was that the house creeks due to its age with doors opening by themselves, two of the windows were not functional, three of the windows had cracks, a lot of the screens were ripped, four windows didn’t even have screens, the bathroom is very far from the bedrooms (down the stairs and to the back of the house), the bathroom is extremely tiny with a very tiny shower, one bedroom door had a crack in it, doors when closed would stick (I got stuck a couple times before you can’t close the doors all the way) the sunroom is actually a porch that gets really hot, no air conditioning the last night, no closets, dresser drawer was broken, and the house was a little dusty due to an old filter in the intake vent.

Cute and homey cottage
We stayed for 2 nights in this quaint cottage. It's well-stocked with the essentials--sheets, towels, even soap and shampoo in the shower. The only negative is the only bathroom is small and on the first floor, but for a short stay with just 2 people (and our dog ) it wasn't a problem. Conveniently located near the beach, bay, and stores/restaurants. Loved that it's a dog-friendly home as well.

Great Memorial Day weekend😀
We use this for extra bedrooms during our annual Memorial Day family get together at my house across the street.
So glad to have space so close.
Only thing is the listing says off street parking but I don’t think that’s the case so we parked in the street.

A great little getaway
This house was great! My wife, 20 month son and I just finished a week-long trip with our Goldendoodle, and the house was the perfect size. Being 2 blocks from the ocean definitely had its perks. We wish the shower had been bigger, but overall a great stay!

The owner was very responsive to my questions and the house was comfortable.
I needed some assistance and the owner was able to help me immediately. The heating worked well and the bed was comfortable. It's in a very good location as it is close to the beach and the bay and in a family oriented part of Seaside.

Gorgeous Beach House
This house is perfectly located, a short walk to the bay or ocean. Pristine, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in beach decor. Clever use of space with all the amenities of home. My family of 4 and our 2 little dogs thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Adorable cottage
This was a weekend trip for a baby shower, the cottage was easy to find, directions for access were accurate, standing in front of the cottage you can see water to the left and right. The cottage itself was nicely decorated, felt homey, and little extras made it even better... kcups for the coffee maker, games under the television, plush towels and comfortable beds. Close to Boardwalk without being on it and just perfect for our little group. Wish we had more time to enjoy the back deck and fire pit, but maybe on our next visit.

Perfect cottage
This authentic cottage was perfect for the two of us with our furry friend, Hollywags. The tasteful decor with the original cottage architecture was most appreciated. The bright sunroom nicely expands the living space. The proximity to the state park is ideal for hiking and quiet reflection in nature. We hope to be back again.

Cute and Comfortable
Adorable is the best word to describe this cottage. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Only negative is the very small bathroom. We hope to come back when its warmer and go to the beach which is easily walkable.

We truly enjoyed our anniversary getaway at this cute cottage. Laura's photos of the property are spot on. The only negative was beyond anyone's control and that was the weather. The rain came down hard but we were nice and warm in the house. Close to the bay, you can even see it from the 'Captain's Quarters'. Just a short walk to the beach, this is a perfectly convenient place to stay. Laura's beach decor was adorable. Sadly it was too chilly to sit in the enclosed porch but I could see sitting there on a warmer day. Even the porch decor was great. The back deck was large and the fenced in back yard added a sense of privacy.
Laura was prompt in responding to us, and communicated with us during our stay. We will definitely try to come back again- just hope the weather will cooperate.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. The house was very nicely organized, had everything we needed. Comfortable clean beds and very nicely decorated ! We liked the fenced in back yard as we had our two dogs with us. Restaurants and shopping were close by. Laura did a great job with this lovely house.
We had our two grown "kids" and our two dogs with us and never felt crowded ! We plan on making a return trip in the summer ! Highly recommended !!!

My boyfriend, our dog Xena and I spent Thanksgiving at Lauras beautiful home. The booking process was so easy and Laura was fantastic and responsive along the way.
Upon entering the home I was immediately in love with the layout and decor. The location is perfect as you can quickly walk to the beach and the bay. The small fenced yard is great for your pet and the home makes you want to stay forever and never leave.
Though our stay was short we are already looking forward to our next stay!
