Jim was easy to communicate with and our family of 7 had a wonderful stay in his place. The highlight for our kids was being so close to the family pool (right outside the sliding door), which never seemed to be busy. The other pool is a bit of a hike (about an 8 minute walk at a young child's pace) so we never took advantage of it but it was equally as big as the family pool. So great to have two swimming options in one complex! This is the second time we have stayed in the Waikoloa area and it is easily becoming a go to destination for future Hawaiian holidays. The condo itself was well equipped although if I were to make a suggestion, having plastic plates would be nice so the kids aren't eating off breakable plates and it would give you the option to eat by the pool (where no glass is allowed). For those with children who want to run around outside on grass, the location of this condo doesn't afford that luxury but it wasn't an deal breaker for us. Thank you Jim for hosting our family!

Beautiful

Place was spacious and was plenty of space for our family of 8. The closet full of beach toys, chairs, ice chests, and snorkels, worked out great. Swimming pool and bbq grills were right next to unit. Would definitely stay at this place again.
4.6
Great place close to the neighborhood pool and close to public beaches.
Grills are just steps away, was fun to share memories with the family.

Our stay was great! Shopping and food options nearby. A-Bay beach was nice and close. I didn't receive any check in information until the day we arrived. So that was a bit disorganized. Our villa also had a sewage smell but were told it was because it was unoccupied for a couple weeks before we arrived. It went away after we aired it out. Parking for a second car is a bit inconvenient as it can only be parked in the stalls that are not reserved so sometimes it was a bit of a walk to the villa. Overall great stay! Would stay here again!

Great location next to the neighborhood pool. For the price it was definitely worth it!! The condo itself needed some love and care. A light bulb was out, we had an issue with the downstairs toilet leaking, and the pans were difficult to cook in - time to replace them from Costco or somewhere ;). This would be a great property to stay at especially with young kids due to proximity to the pool. Overall once we checked in (we had to call to get the updated code) anything needed was addressed quickly by the lady on island who handles the property. She was very kind and helpful!

No complaints everything was as stated on Vrbo
Thanks Again

We enjoyed our time at this condo immensely! It was the perfect amount of space, had the amenities that we needed, and was in a good complex and location. When pricing condos for our trip, this was one of the most affordable and it lived up to our expectations. We enjoyed the pool area and took advantage of the barbecue. Our family was very comfortable here and would definitely choose to stay here again.

Nice location and great weather. Condo is clean but needs some maintenance in worn areas and maybe decorating. Kitchen supplies minimal. Can opener broke 1st time we tried to use it. Games shouldn't be listed as most have pieces missing. Overall we had a wonderful time and condo was a clean, safe and comfortable place to stay.

As advertised. Great spacious home. It’s beautiful.

Our family of four had a great experience with our stay in Waikoloa. The location made for relaxing walks or short drives to all conveniences. Having the family pool located so close was an awesome bonus for our young kids.

Convenient And good location.

Really enjoyed our stay. 3 adults, 3 kids (ages 16, 9, & 4)
The villa was pretty roomy but yet warming. Lynn, was great at answering questions and my phone calls. The villa is a great location, near the gate. The pool was super close. Outside the villa, there are resorts and plenty of restaurants and stores.
Highly recommended it!

Really nice location just steps from the pool and BBQ ... nice amenities - everything you need is provided. Kitchen well stocked, tons of towels and beach toys / chairs / umbrellas which is MUCH appreciated. Very spacious living room with plenty of seating. I would definitely stay here again. Parking is limited if you have more than 1 vehicle.

We had the best stay during our visit to the Big Island, 9 days in paradise with our family (4 adults, 3 kids (9,3 & 1). Jim was so easy and quick to communicate with thus making our vacation so much more enjoyable! We were able to get a late checkout for a small fee but it was worth every penny to have the unit for longer on checkout day, our flight didn’t leave until midnight. Any questions we had were answered and dealt with in a timely manner, we couldn’t find the high chair (it was locked in the garage) and Jim had someone there within a couple of hours to get it out for us. Checking in and out we’re super easy, the parking spot is the first one closest to the unit and all the other people in the complex were very nice!
The unit had everything you’d need for the beach, sand toys, umbrellas, chairs, towels, snorkel stuff, water shoes, boogie boards, tennis rackets, coolers and more! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to make mealtime easy, there was even a crockpot which was so nice to not have to make dinner after a long day at the beach! The added extras of some games, toys and tv’s in every room made it nice for the kids to have some down time. There’s a playpen and high chair available for those travelling with babies. We sat outside many afternoons playing cards and enjoying a drink on the lanai. The one pool is directly behind the unit and it has a small shallow pool for younger kids as well as a couple bbq’s. The complex has another pool and hot tub about a 5 min walk away as well as a gym (the cardio & weight rooms are separate) for any workout enthusiasts.
A few tips for the area, do your big shops in Kona the first day as the prices in the smaller markets are quite high. There’s a Costco, Walmart, Safeway, target etc. in Kona. We did have to shop at the Island gourmet in Queens Marketplace a few times, it’s very expensive but super convenient. A little further but still convenient is the food land in the Mauna Lani resort area, it’s more affordable compared to the island gourmet market.
We had nothing to complain about, everything was exactly what we needed for our time in Hawaii. Thanks Jim for the wonderful hospitality, we hope to come back one day soon.

Great property! Jim emailed us all the check in information before our arrival so it was easy to find and check in. He was very detailed which was extremely helpful. The inside was more spacious and beautiful than the pictures showed! We also loved the snorkel gear as well as other beach going gear. The proximity to the swimming pool was especially nice. Highly recommend!

The condo was the perfect size for us. Walking in, it felt clean and welcoming. It was great to have laundry in the condo. The grounds were well cared for and beautiful. The pools were were very clean too. Overall a great place to stay.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was perfect for our needs. We appreciated having a closet full of beach gear, plenty of towels, and a well-stocked kitchen. No complaints from us! Thank you Jim.

The villa was amazing! Close by everything we need. My kids loved it especially my 3 year old! James was very nice and easy to communicate with. Will definitely consider renting this villa again when we return!

Comfortable 3 bedroom condo with nice kitchen, lots of beach items(chairs, cooler, boogie boards), BBQ at the nearby pool, and beautiful landscaping.

Clean, spacious, functionally, with two beautiful pools and a lovely beach and historical features to explore within walking distance.

Our 1st time on the Big Island was a awesome! Such a beautiful Island Paradise! we stayed at the Waikoloa Beach Village for 10 days and this property did not disappoint! The host provided many nice extras such as cooler, umbrella, beach chairs, and many more. The property is large and comfortable. It has all the amenities described and is very close to stores/shops in a nice gated communities. The price per night is very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again and definitely will recommend to all my friends and families!

Great property in the Waikaloa resort area. It is not one of the newer properties and the inside shows its age some, but very clean and comfortable with a great layout, large bedrooms (comfortable beds) and a spacious family room/kitchen/dining area. I think it is the best value in the Waikoloa area for a party our size (6). Easy walk to Hilton resort. Beach/equipment closet was well stocked and appreciated with boogie boards, sand toys, and snorkel gear all in good condition. We had a great stay!

My family and I came over to Big Island for the 10th plus time. We use to live in Kona, this was a great property and had great communication from the listing agent.

Of the 4 places we stayed on the Big Island this time, this townhouse was by far the most expensive, even though there was no view (unless you count the view of dumpsters/golf carts from the master bedroom). On the plus side, the townhouse was in reasonable proximity to beaches and restaurants, & there was a nice pool nearby. We've stayed in the Waikoloa resort area before (in condos) and so, for the price, had certain expectations. But the decor/interior was cheap & not well-maintained. For instance, 1/4 of the screen door in the master bedroom was completely detached (flapping) from the frame when we arrived; we contacted the owner...his response was that he'd have it fixed after we leave (6 days later). Similarly, after using the water filter/ice maker in the fridge for a few days, we noticed a maintenance light indicating that the filter was long overdue from being replaced (not yellow for "order new filter" but red); the owner said he'd order one....Also, the big dresser in the master bedroom was basically unusable because the drawers fell down if you opened them more then 4 inches. There was only 1 small dishtowel in the entire kitchen and no drying rack, so that made washing pots/pans, etc. problematic.

This property seems to have been rented a lot and the condo looked pretty Tired. It was clean but very worn. The rugs need replacing the furniture is very tired and the beds, particularly the twin beds were unusable. We compared to my sisters VRBO on the golf course and the differences were night and day. Everything was up to date, had a nice TV and was generally much better appointed. Needless to say, we were disapointed.

We had an excellent time staying in this condo. The host provided many nice extras such as beach towels and beach chairs. The property is large and comfortable. I would recommend it!
4.6
The unit was as described. We had one small issue, and when I contacted the manager he responded immediately. The unit is very spacious and has a full sized washer and dryer, so it was great for our family.
4.6
Check in was supposed to be at 4pm and we showed up to the cleaners still there until 6pm. The carpets are stained, broken tiles, tape holding on pieces of cabinets, broken drawers in every room, twin beds are broken, ac compressor makes so much noise it wakes you up at night, severe damage in the master bathroom on the ceiling, lightbulbs out in a few lamps and back porch, games are all broken or missing pieces, we could never get the cable on TVs to work. Major issues pointed out to the owner and never fixed in our two week stay, cockroaches and a missing smoke detector which are health and safety concerns. We were extremely dissatisfied in our stay at this condo.
4.6
Overall was a good experience. Owner needs to make some repairs to make it an even better experience. It suited our family needs.
4.6
This place was great for our stay with 4 adults and 2 children. We had plenty of room, no shortage of hot water for showers, and lots of beach gear. The patio was very private and not far from the pool. The condo was quiet, we could not hear neighbors. I loved the fact that the resort area was a great place to walk. We will definitely book again when we return.
4.6
Great location, very friendly owners

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet neighborhood, not too far from Kona. The place was clean and had all beach equipment available for use. The owner was quick to reply when we had questions. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others!
