This was the perfect long weekend. We loved staying in the adorable A-frame and enjoyed all the amenities including our own hot tub, a pool and fire pit. This is our new favorite place, and we can’t wait to come back again.

Loved the experience of staying in an A-Frame. So cute and cozy! Loved being surrounded by forest…so peaceful. Liked that the various trails were under a 10mn drive. Overall a truly tranquil experience.

Booked a few days before for a spontaneous overnight- super easy process from checkin to checkout. Adorable cabin that really added something special to the trip. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived after a long day of hiking, we could access our Netflix account from the TV which was awesome. I thought the bed downstairs was actually pretty comfortable but the bed upstairs creaked very loudly - that was really the only negative. Beautiful deck and so easy to back into the driveway for quick loading/unloading. Great stay!

ALL WAS GOOD FOR US. THE ONLY ISSUE FOR US WAS THE REFRIGERATOR WAS TO LOW AND ON THE FLOOR. I UNDERSTAND IT IS A UNDER COUNTER TYPE.

Because of travel requirements, we didn’t get there till after dark, but it was easy to check in. Just walk in and put in the code and you’re there! Very clean. Very cute and quaint. My wife loved it. We stayed for the weekend. Check out was a breeze, but the 800 number doesn’t work from your phone and that location to tell them that you’re leaving. So we needed to stop off at the desk which was very friendly. Wi-Fi was very under performing the entire time. Cell phone reception is poor in that location. Had Difficulty with navigating an ancient television control. TV channels did not work, but we’re not that focused on TV etc. so it didn’t overshadow our great stay. We prefer to watch the news on TV so that was precluded, but otherwise it was a great event. The hot tub was in great shape. Very squeaky bed if you know what I mean, so if your kids are downstairs, you may need to think that through.😉 The deck gave wonderful privacy. I’d recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.

Very nice, cozy and comfortable a-frame with a loft. Great place,
it had everything that we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Super nice staff and very clean with all the amenities needed to make it an enjoyable stay. Loved having breakfast out on the deck on the cute bistro set, listening and watching out into the wilderness. The hot tub was nice and warm upon arrival. Will be back :) Thank you for an amazing time!

This little cabin was perfect. It was quiet on the back deck and we could watch the deer in the forest. The hot tub was fun. It had everything we needed. They supplied toiletries just like a hotel would. The staff at the check-in building were so nice and helpful. They really know the area. We will definitely be back.

Great location close to Old Man’s Cave for hiking. Hocking Hills is such a beautiful area! The place was clean, comfortable & relaxing. Enjoyed our time on the deck in the mornings and evening-so peaceful.
The Chalet team was professional and helpful in their communications. The check in and out process was easy. We hope to come back again!

This stay was amazing. Check in was very easy- we were sent an email with the code to get into our cabin. Staff here was unbelievably nice and helpful, very pleasant and polite. The cabin was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The back porch was our favorite part. We used the hot tub and grill multiple times and it was very nice to feel like we were in nature. Location was great, we didn’t have to drive more than 20 mins to get to anything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again if we come down again. Thank you guys for making this trip so great!

This cabin was perfect for a short getaway to Hocking hills! Cabin was clean and well stocked with essentials (towels, kitchen utensils, plates/cups) Wifi is very slow and limited, so keep in mind if you want/need fast wifi! Cabins are close together but that did not bother us as our neighbors were all quiet & respectful!

Just pay attention to the description because they tell you the internet is not good. But this place is perfect for some time off the grid. Super cozy with a beautiful view off the back patio. You are close to neighbors but you still have almost complete privacy. We were able to bring our fur babies and they loved it. Will definitely stay again.

Very clean, new feel, bedding & pillows comfy, super clean covered hot tub, easy check in, love the keyless door entry, close to popular hiking areas, close to a convenient store.
Cons, but not a deal breaker for us.
Full beds & to us they were uncomfortable, no storage areas(they do have an area to hang up clothes in the master, tiny mini fridge (I suggest bringing two coolers one for drinks & one for food, & two burner electric stove top. Two more major cons for us was how horrible the WiFi was. I tried what they suggest, unplugging & plugging back in, and we still struggled to even play music. We both have iPhone 12s and it was just two adults. I recommend just booking for a couple getaway, I definitely wouldn’t book it for 4 adults. Also, you are super duper close to neighbors. We heard a very annoying phone call on the back deck. You can hear your neighbors talking in a regular tone and can definitely hear music. The hot tub is covered so there’s some privacy, but there’s an opening for the charcoal grill so if you sit on that side of the hot tub neighbors can see you if they are looking through the slates (I doubt they would). At least if it rains, you can move the bistro set to the covered area.
We made it work and we relaxed for two nights. Even though I appreciate the clean and newness feel, I’d probably look for more private cabins next time. If you are going to be gone most of the day, can sleep anywhere, and want to unplug from technology I say book it!

The photo that is shown does not accurately show how close the A frames are to one another. The picture depicts that the A frame is standing alone with no neighbors. I had A frames on either side of mine that were not even 50 yards away. With children next door playing in the hot tub being very loud was discouraging. The internet, even when I was by myself, was very spotty and doing work was a headache. The satellite kept going out and had to watch the television in low resolution. My mother and I spotted a cobweb in a corner, which was out of our reach but could be easily taken care of with a broom. The floor in front of the dorm sized refrigerator was all scuffed up from it being pulled in and out. The microwave was on a sheft above the stove and we are just above 5' and it was a challenge to see what we were pulling out of the microwave to make sure we did not spill it on the floor. The dining room table was wobbly so we had to put sugar packs under one of the legs. The bedrooms provided no dresser space so if you stayed more than a day or two (which I was there for 8 nights), you are living out of yoursuitcase on the floor. No stand to put it on. The bathroom has so much wasted space that could be utilized for a nice shelving area for toiletries, instead of having them on the back of the toilet, cluttered on the sink, or under the sink where they may get left behind. Knowing that there was a mouse trap under the sink, I was afraid to open the door and find a mouse in the trap. The back door needs adjusted because I had to put my weight against the door to get it locked.

We had a great time exploringGthe near by Hocking Hills state park. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and the check in process extremely easy. The only thing that was a little on the down side would be the internet connectivity.
