Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #238 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Beautiful, well-furnished condo with awesome beach access. However, light bulbs were burnt out in 2 of the lamps,blinds were broken in 1 BR, refrigerator was very noisy,toilet base was wobbly in BR 1, large kitchen wall clock didn't work,front door lock needed repair, found live cockroaches in kitchen, all windows were filthy, canvas awning on patio needed repair, traffic noise made it difficult to sleep, small water heater made it hard for all 4 people to take warm showers. Very disappointed for paying this kind of money!

The location was nice and right on the beach. The room was average at best. wasn’t very clean and it is a little rundown and worn out. Nothing smelled clean and it was shabby. Needs paint and a good deep clean. The family room area rug is old and worn out and was curling up which was a tripping issue. Wouldn’t stay again

Property was very spacious, impeccably maintained, and perfect location! Resort was right on the beach, everything was beautifully maintained, pool was warm and wonderful, and the beach was just about the best (if you like calm, gentle waves) that I have ever seen (even better than Siesta Key Beach!). Soft, gorgeous sand and almost crystal clear blue water. Staff was super-helpful and kind, very accommodating. Rooms were even larger (and better quality) then the pictures conveyed. I can't recommend this place enough!

Stayed here with family. There were five of us and this place suited us perfectly. Very friendly staff at the office. We had everything we needed and had a great time. Would definitely rent here again.

Very nice week with family. Nice unit with a few issues that were addressed quickly. Handle of sliding glass door was broken and hanging down. Toilet in one bathroom kept clogging. I reported and everything was addressed within 24 hours. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Had a wonderful long weekend here with extended family. Unit was clean, fantastic location steps from the powdery white sand beach. Great that they had lounge chairs for us to use. Nice pool with pool toys available as well. Harry's market right down the road was perfect for our food/drink needs. Free gym pass to a gym within walking distance was wonderful also.

Clean inside and out! Great beach access. Wonderful staff cleaning the grounds daily. Our space was perfect for parents with adult children age 18-24. We could easily rise early and the kids not hear us. Had beach chairs and other items to borrow for the beach. Full kitchen and awesome gas grills at the pool!

After Hurricane Ian hit in our area of SW Florida , we were ready to cancel our kids and 3 grandkids visit over New Years week, instead we got busy and found your lovely accommodations 90 minutes north of the Ian damage ....Silver Sands...Longboat Key... the location, beach, BBQ-pool area were amazing!! It felt like a new, updated, private Oasis!! Our family will return!!! Thank you for a family retreat that will be long remembered!!

Our suite was a large, 3-bedroom suite. While we only stayed for the night, it would be a great place for a large family to stay for an extended vacation. There are three large rooms and one of them had its own en suite bathroom and mini kitchen, in addition to the large kitchen in the suite. There is a large outdoor balcony, as well. I wish the suite had a waterfront view, though. It would also be nice to have a bathroom near the pool because otherwise you have to go to your room from the beach/pool. The beach is beautiful and the pool was big and clean and had nice, fun lights at night!

Great place
We enjoyed our stay very much. The space was perfect for our family. Clean and spacious for us to be together but still have our own space.

Fun Getaway with Friends
We loved the location and had such a fun vacation. The beach access was convenient and they even had chairs and umbrellas.
The room was very clean and the perfect size for 6 adults. We loved the balcony and decor and the unit was spacious. Highly recommend and world stay here again. We had a great time with friends.
I gave 3 stars for the property manager because I went to the office 3 times and there was no one there. We did after hours check in but I still thought this was odd. Upon checkout I just left a note on the desk.

Loved the location, very low key. We had good food at all restaurants as we ate out every night! Condo was nice and pretty well equipped. It was great to have the beautiful ocean and the pool. Kids even played alot of putt putt! Would definitely return.

This property was perfect for our family. We have a blended family with six kids, all teenagers. Everyone had their own space to spread out and get comfy. The unit is well appointed and the location was ideal.

The condo unit was actually 2 - one with 2 bedrooms and a studio that can be locked off from the rest of the unit (and had its own entrance and AC unit). Everything was very clean and well appointed. The TVS all have excellent streaming capabilities and were easy to use, the sofas were also pull out couches - which we didn't need on this trip but were happy to discover. Very large common areas - kitchen and living room, made staying with friends a breeze. The AC units worked GREAT!! which is very important to me. The property has complimentary beach towels (very helpful) as well as beach chairs, beach umbrellas and even kids' toys for the beach. This was a great bonus as we didn't have to try to fit it in our luggage or pay a lot for things we would leave behind. The heated pool right on the beach was also a plus and couldn't be a better set-up for traveling with kids who may not be able to stay in the ocean all day. The little miniature golf course was charming and kept the kids busy whenever the adults were taking to long to get ready for the beach, our unit had a covered porch which was great for drying our towels, and gathering for drinks with friends. Rally don't have any complaints ! Everyone we met - both staff and other guests -were all very friendly and easy-going. Just a perfect place to take the family for a relaxed, laid-back Florida beach experience!

We love staying there this was our 21st. year. Hospitality wasn't up to what it should have been. lots of work needs to be done to rails on steps. they are breaking. You need a TV larger than a laptop the small room. Cleaning ladies were great this is first year I have any complaints.

Great place to stay.
We enjoyed Silver Sands Resort. There was a lot of activities for the kids and a very large pool! Walking distance to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas. The rooms were clean. I stayed in the kitchenette room. I found the bed and the pillows too hard. The air conditioner was not able to keep the room cool. I wish there was shower handles in the shower, very hard to get into and out of the tub/shower.

We love Longboat Key! The beach is beautiful and much less commercialized than other beaches. The condo was perfect for three couples. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very convenient.
