Great condo for a relaxing vacation. Amazing customer service. Owners will answer questions before you need to ask them. Beach is directly off the sunroom. All the amenities you would need. I will recommend this condo to friends and family that want to visit in the future.

We loved our stay at this condo! The location is exceptional. Communication with the owners was excellent, the condo was just as described, and is completely stocked and comfortable for a family with young kids. We would absolutely rent this condo again. Thank you, Anita!

We had a great time. The location is convenient for many different outings including Rum Point beach, Starfish Point, and various boat trips right from the dock at the resort. The host was very accommodating and the condo is very well stocked.
10.0 / 10.0
Condo was easy to find and parking was plentiful. Starfish Point is a very quiet part of the island even next to the Kaibo Yacht Club (condo is about 50 yards down the beach). While you could hear the music (especially the bass!), we never felt it was intrusive. It also led to some great "people watching" as people were ferried over from Seven Mile Beach for dinner at the Yacht club. The condo itself was very well equipped with dishes, pots and plenty of spices as well as extra food stuff such as coffee, btea, pasta of all sorts, oatmeal, popcorn, etc. A warning though, this is a sand, beach, water and relax area. There is no night life, activities, etc. available and limited restaurant choices without a car. For us, that is our kind of place and why we chose Starfish Point. Furniture was nice and beds comfortable. Wifi and TV are available and wifi extends out to the beach. There were lots of lounges and chairs available on the beach. There was no sargassum which was great. For beginning snorkelers (and advanced for the picture taking) there were hundreds of fish to see in about 3 feet of water about 10 yards from the condo so even kids could safely swim in an 'aquarium'. There are plenty of starfish to see!! I also saw a small stingray and a small barracuda. There is a large modern supermarket between the airport and the condo (Hurleys) and a small store (Chisholms) about 10 minutes from the condo. There is a very nice pool and spa available just a few feet away but not close enough to be bothered by activities in the pool. Communication with the owner and manager was easy and we experienced no problems in our two week stay. One caveat, bring mosquito repellent (but they also have a supply if you forget!) as there are times when they can be bad as with any place in the islands.

Easy. Relaxing. Beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay! The unit was clean and well stocked with just about anything you could need for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing. There's a good size lanai for your swim gear or to have a bite to eat. Right on the beach, but also feet away from a clean pool / hot tub
Steps away from a restaurant so food was easily accessible, but keep in mind this is Rum Point so you'll want to plan out your trips to the other side of the island. Definitely would recommend - especially for a family!!

We had a wonderful week. Great place for our family of 5, and we loved this side of the island. We were so happy we stayed here instead of on 7 mile beach. So much more peaceful. We loved the access to Kaibo Yacht Club, Starfish Point, great restaurants on the north side, pool and hot tub, etc. and could still take day trips to the other side. We’d definitely stay again.

Place is nicely stocked
Everything was very good. We arrived on a Monday and everything, and I mean everything, is closed. It was like being on a deserted island! Wednesday, a few people started to come because the only restaurant opened up (right next door). The property was perfect, but I’d HIGHLY recommend a location on Seven Mile Beach.

The perfect getaway at Kaibo
This rental was absolutely perfect for us! The location is more relaxed and quiet being away from 7 mile and is my personal favourite spot to hangout. The condo was super clean and bright and had everything we needed for our stay, so we didn’t need to bring any extra items. Checking in and out was super easy and the beaches and pool were incredible. Pictures here require no filter, it is an absolute paradise. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks so much again Anita and John!

Amazing location and condo
Anita was amazing since the day we booked her condo. She was quick to respond to questions I had prior to the arrival and very helpful providing link to hospital for covid testing, grocery markets, etc. On the drive from the airport to her Condo, you could feel the instant sensation of relaxation. The condo is very comfortable and since we arrived late on the sunday, it was nice for her to have frozen bread in the freezer for a late night snack. She also kept the place well equipped with spices, shampoos, etc. The view of the ocean is spectacular. The worst part of renting Anita’s place was having to leave. That said, we hope to return on a yearly basis! Thanks so much Anita, we had a wonderful time!

Understanding owner
We actually did not stay at thIs amazing property bc of the COVID-19 pandemic. We cancelled our trip last minute. The owners were understanding and sympathetic to our decision even though technically the Cayman borders were still open. Prior to this worldwide disaster, Anita sent me an extremely detailed welcome email with maps of groceries and restaurant recommendations. Definitely a lot more than I've ever gotten from other condo owners. It's obvious that they want to insure the best experience for us. I highly recommend this rental for your peace of mind. I hope my family will get to stay here in the future.

Wonderful
This was our third trip to Kaibo, by far Anita’s place had the most items for guests to be comfortable.

Great Stay
This property was exactly as described on VRBO. The owners were great to work with when I needed a slight change to our reservation. We love the location and the ability to walk right out from the screen porch to the beach. The condo is stocked so well for arrival; I love the concept of replace what you use up! Even though you are a 45 minute drive from Georgetown, there's plenty to do in the area. Snorkeling, paddleboarding, boat trips, sting ray city, etc. Thanks, Anita! Great stay.

Great getaway!
We spent a week here with our 2 young kids for our anniversary. We loved all the amenities described and knew we wouldn’t find a better deal on the island and we were right!
We used all the snorkel gear and life jackets which were perfect! We walked to starfish point most mornings and had the place to ourselves until around 10. It was beautiful! I think only 3 or so units were rented at the time so it was quite and secluded. We usually had the beach and pool to ourselves. We rented a car, which we needed and we drove the entire island. Grab an explore magazine at the airport so you will have a map! We think we picked the best spot! There were many more things to do with kids on this side. We did Pedro castle, botanical gardens, blowholes, wreck of the 10 sails, rum point, the beachfront BBQ next door which was fun but costly! About $140 US for family of 4! We were not aware of the currency difference and all restaurants add the gratuity so keep that in mind! It was nice to have a kitchen and we cooked most of our meals. We ran to Chisholm grocery for a few items but it’s more expensive than the large chains so I recommend using those instead. We went to 7 mile once and West Bay for the turtles. Loved the turtle center! We live in SC and 7 mile reminded me of Myrtle beach. I’m sure the beaches and water are gorgeous but it’s super crowded and touristy with high rises everywhere so we were very happy we stayed in our quiet peaceful spot away from the crowds! I contacted Anita once through text when we couldn’t find the Bluetooth speaker for outdoors and she responded within 5 minutes! Even Judy the property manager stopped by and asked if everything was to our liking! Such a friendly and fun island! We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return!!

Relaxing getaway
we loved our time at the condo, it is right on the beach , stocked with everything we needed and more! The location is secluded, you WILL need a car to get around. Anita provided a lot of helpful details and great recommendations. We stayed one week here, and one week at a rental in 7mile, and the difference between a rental that is used by the owners themselves vs a rental just bought to make money was astounding! We were missing this condo during our stay at 7mile ! The only annoying thing was a few days into our trip , another family checked in to the upstairs condo with multiple kids who love to stomp around and be loud, but that's just bad luck i guess.

Best spot on island
If you are looking for a place to stay that is “away” from the 7 mile noise but still has the best the island has to offer, look no further!
Step right off the back porch onto the beach, right out to you’re own private little slice of heaven! Clear water, Kaibo Yacht club dock right next door ( for anyone looking to do any trips out in the water) beautiful fish swimming right at your ankles. Walking distance to Rum Point and Starfish Point. A short drive (30 minutes) or a water taxi to the 7 mile side of the island.
Anita and John were very responsive and kept us informed if we needed anything! We are already looking into the calendar for next year to book our trip back to the condo! DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE ON TUE ISLAND

Wow!!!
Place is very clean. Property owners were outstanding, both helpful and prompt to respond. The condo is well equipped. Location is perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of the G'town / 7-mile crowd. This is steps away from the water and 100 feet or so from the Kaibo boat docks. We saw plenty of starfish right In front of the Kaibo Yacht club properties, yet you are a short stroll from Starfish Point. There are plenty of places from 1 to 15 minutes away from here to eat, and most are far less expensive than the overcrowded areas of the island. Owners and location make it easy to recommend this property. Will definately look for availability at this property on our next trip.

Wonderful condo on the beach in Caymens.
I loved staying at this condo. It was right on the beach. The unit was stocked well with paper goods and we didn’t run out of anything. There are beach chairs you can use and the pool and hot tub are about 30 feet away from the condo. There is a restaurant and coffee shop about 100 feet from the condo. Kaibo is a cute little community on Grand Caymen on the north side of the island near Rum Point Beach. You need to rent a car because it is 45 minutes from the airport and Georgetown. I loved this location because it had a secluded feel. Rum Point beach is about 5 minutes away and is a cool place to spend the day on the beach. There are 2 restaurants there. You can rent bikes, kayaks, and jet skis at the Kaibo condos or at Rum Point. I much prefer this side of the island to the seven mile beach area.

Lovely and relaxing!
The condo was perfect with all the needed amenities provided such as paper products, towels and many extras such as spices to cook with, charcoal for the grill, sunscreen, shampoo and more. The lovely, soft sand beach is right out the door with lounge chairs and the pool right next-door with a nice hot tub. The restaurant is a few feet in the other direction with great food and drinks. The dock is there for pickup to go on excursions. This is a very friendly island, I felt very safe. It is very clean and beautiful with lots to do and see both above the sea and below. We highly recommend the condo and the island!!

Everything we expected
The condo was great. Quiet beach. Great restaurants nearby. Owner gave excellent info on places to go and what to expect. Would definitely recommend to others that don’t want to be in the touristy part of the island We would go back for sure!

Not just a rental, a home!!
Upon our first step into the condo we could tell this was not just any other rental for profit, this was the owner's second home. The little touches made it feel like a home, rather than a hotel or motel room. The added luxuries were amazing, the owners are great to work with, and the location is superb. Anita went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and her condo made our vacation that much better.
Very relaxing location, although a bit out of the way from Georgetown, it was perfect for us to get away from the hustle and bustle after a day of diving. I not only highly recommend this condo for a amazing stay, but my wife and I will be returning on a regular basis.

Feels like home!
Just came came back from a 8 days stay. There are some plus and minus of this condo. It has EVERYTHING! I mean, shampoo, dish detergent, life jackets, condiments, bug repellent, even a free local cell phone to carry around. By the end of the stay, it started to feel like home, that's how much comfort we felt. But the travel into town is something one must consider renting this place. Going into seven miles beach area always take almost an hour one way. Some days we spend three hours or more on the car just exploring. And that's too much driving on the vacation in my opinion. But if you are the kind that like to stay put, this place is great. Rum point is two minute drive which offers a lot in terms if swimming, dinning. The beach front first level property is very friendly to children. But the beach is very rocky, not good for little one running around bare foot. The pool and hot tub is nice, often it is left empty so you can have it all by yourself. The most important thing for us was the wifi connection. It worked great for first five days of our stay. Then, on the day of my son's birthday, we had a scheduled FaceTime with grandparents oversea which everyone were looking forward to singing and blowing the candles of the birthday cake together since they can not be with us. It is then the wifi decided to break. We could not even text them to tell them the internet does not work, so they were left waiting for hours to see their baby grandson. I know that's not the owner's fault on the timing, but it really did ruined our day... The wifi came back on the last day of our stay though. We left feeling positive of the place.

This condo is AWESOME!!
We really had a nice relaxing vacation at this condo. It was exactly as described and the owners were a very big help with any questions that arise. When we arrived, the condo was clean and comfortable and we felt at home. The patio is great in early morning for drinking our coffee. We loved being able to snorkel right out in front and the condo had a large assortment of snorkeling gear. The condo was fully stocked with just about anything we needed. We met Mark at the pool and was very helpful with suggesting a few restaurants. He had all good things to say about Anita (the owner) and her husband :) He came out from his condo and said..."WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY POOL"? We just looked at him and laughed....he was messing with us...he was funny and very friendly!! The beach was gorgeous and very clean and having The Kaibo bar about 50 feet away was a big plus. LOVED their Pina Coladas...My sister and I had atleast 8 a day, lol. All in all if your thinking of renting this condo...please do yourself a favor and book it. We were sure glad we did and if we ever get a chance to go to The Caymans...Thats where we will be staying. Thank you Anita for everything!!

Beautiful location!
We had a wonderful stay with our three daughters in this condo. It was a perfect location in a quiet, relaxing part of the island. It was a first visit to Grand Cayman and we were so happy to choose this place and away from the traffic and people of Seven Mile Beach. The owners had a lot of snorkel equipment which we made use of with our girls. The pool was wonderful as well for our girls who used it every day. We saw starfish every day in the water outside the condo. We rented a car which is needed if you stay on this part of the island, but we were able to tour the whole island which was beautiful. The Kaibo bar/restaurant nearby was also a wonderful place to stop for dinner or drinks. This condo had a wonderful view to wake up to every morning. We couldn't have been happier choosing this condo!

Beautiful Island, Beachfront Location, Relaxing and Fun!
We are recently home from a terrific vacation! This condominium at Kaibo (Phase 1) is the perfect location for an incredibly relaxing time. We actually preferred it over Phase 2 because the palm trees are more mature and the pool is more private.
The property is as decribed. It is perfect for a family of four, two couples, or one couple (like us) who wanted space. It is so nice to unplug from a hotel/elevator environment and be free to have a fresh breakfast, lunch, or snacks - with restaurants nearby for dinner or any meal you do not feel like preparing. The screened in porch is perfect for breakfast and dinner if you feel like BBQ on the webber grill.
We rode the bikes every day and took advantage of the water adventures from Rum Point - just a little over 1 mile away. We highly recommend the Safari jet ski tour and Stingray sandbar - amazing experiences! We also recommend walking to star fish beach, a 5 minute walk down to the point from the condo.
The condo itself is definitely 3-4 star - clean, fully equipped kitchen, plently of towels, and comfortable beds. It is right on the beach and 100 yards or less from the Kaibo Yacht Club, which is a fun island bar, great drinks, terrific pub food and great staff. They also have a well-reviewed restaurant on weekend nights.
We liked the restaurant at Rum Point - the dinner was very good, excellent service and we walked home under an incredible canopy of stars!
We decided not to drive since we were only there 4 nights. We hired a shuttle from the airport (Webster Tours) to the condo, which was heavenly if you like riding bikes and walking to your destinations - it is definitely more relaxing than any trip we have had in awhile. If you stay for a week, a car would be nice for variety.
The owners were great to work with, the entire process was easy and much more reasonable than other vacations. We highly recommend Cayman Kai and the Kaibo condos for a wonderful get-away!
