About this house rental

Bethany Bungalow is a 1925 two bedroom, one bath home. We are one on a short list of villas, cottages or holiday homes for rent in central Lincoln, Nebraska. Mike & Sue Vint of Lincoln are the owners.

This 850 square foot home is recently remodeled, comes fully furnished to provide a comfortable alternative to extended hotel stays, weekend getaways, and additional housing for holidays and family gatherings. With its location in central Lincoln, it is close to shopping, restaurants, bike paths, and entertainment. It is 10 minutes from downtown and most of the colleges in Lincoln. The home is rented to only one party at a time, so when you're here, you're the only ones here.

The kitchen is equipped with new appliances and includes refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, dishes, and utensils. The dining nook seats four. The two bedrooms each have queen sized euro top mattresses and large closets. The newly remodeled bathroom has a tub shower, toilet, and sink. Towels and bed linens are provided. The living room is furnished with a 48 inch flat screen TV, cable, free wireless internet, and a DVD/BluRay player with streaming capabilities (subscription required for paid services, such as Netflix). A washer and dryer is available for your laundry. Use of all of this equipment is all included in your fee.

Other amenities include off street parking, a safe neighborhood, and a very convenient location. This home is suitable for four people.

This home was a wonderful landing spot for our stay in Lincoln. It was easy to get from the home to our activities across several parts of town. The hosts responded quickly regarding check in and were most accommodating and kind.

This was such a charming place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We did have a slight issue with checking in, but the communication with the property owner was excellent. Our issue was resolved quickly and easily! Would certainly recommend and stay here again.

We 3 woman loved our stay! It was close to many things! The only issue is the little Bungalow is on the corner of 3 roads, it was noisy at bar closing time. We enjoyed it and having off street parking to pull up and unload straight into the kitchen!!! Great!!

We had a 5 day stay planned for our daughter’s wedding. The property was conveniently located in proximity to events planned. The property was clean and just what we needed. This property is perfect for a small group, with all of the amenities you will need. It is in a nice neighborhood, with quick access to dining and downtown. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I will try to get this place on future trips to Lincoln!

We rented The Bethany home for my husband and my father as we were visiting my dads lifetime friend in Lincoln! Bethany House was the perfect place for us! We had our guests over, who are in their 90’s in the house me for visits and meals and the kitchen and dining room was just right!!! When the city warning siren went off indicating a potential tornado, I was alone in the house and texted the owner right away!! Sue answered immediately and calmed my fears!! Definite a great place to stay when in Lincoln!

We came to go to a ink football game. This option was SO much better than a hotel room. It was extremely comfortable and well stocked not to mention a fabulous value. Easy to take Uber downtown and back. A bit noisy with street traffic but otherwise perfect.

Perfect for us. If it matters to you, it does not have a dishwasher and garbage disposal. We will stay here again, as long as it does not get too popular, which it could. Get it if you can.

Super clean, had everything we needed, even kleenex! Sue and Mike were great to work with, central to everything we wanted to do. Bicyclists, easy half mile ride to Mopac trail, which is very well maintained. Thank you for a great experience!

The Bungalow was perfect for our family of 3. We were in a great location to get to our Son's house and to the Interstate. The bungalow was well furnished, great beds, and the owners were very accommodating. We are already thinking of staying next year.

The property was perfect for our needs for the weekend. Very clean, safe neighborhood. It is located on a corner of a busy intersection, so traffic noise was noticable although we didn't have a problem with it.

We stayed over a weekend to go to a football game. The house is a cute little bungalow that met our needs queen sized beds were great and comfortable. We do not eat out very often and cooked while there. The kitchen had everything we needed. Susan, the owner was a very sweet woman that helped a great deal while we were there. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Aside from the shortcomings of old houses - tiny bathroom and fewer convenient outlets - house was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was wonderful - more comfortable than mine at home. I wish we could find out the brand name.

The home is very comfortable and well taken care of. The shower worked great and the bed linens and towels were clean and soft. Although near a busy road the noise was not an issue. Neighbor lady was very nice too! Only thing that needs to be changed is the scent in the home that you first get when entering. Not sure what it is but we easily masked it with some candles we got. We will definitely stay again when in Lincoln!
