Home away from home
We had a wonderful memorable month long stay in this property. We are avid travellers to many places including Hawaiian islands but this one is so special. The unit is immaculately maintained & every possible details are taken care of . Thao has everything a guest can ever want & very easy to reach whenever needed . Even there were a plenty of beach supplies . The place is very secure & people friendly . We loved our lazy mornings/evenings in the balcony with peek a boo ocean view & gorgeous mountain view . Its very quite country , far away from touristy rushes.
Waiting eagerly to go back again !!!

Comfortable but far away from everything
The property was clean and comfortable but was located pretty far away from most things that we wanted to see and do. If you travel out and back at the wrong time of day your going to hit a lot of traffic. The daily routine of leaving and coming back was also a bit troubling since we had to remind the owner to get us gate clearance each day. There are very few good restaurants available on this side of Oahu.

Peaceful retreat
I knew nothing of Oahu. I chose this destination based on the listing and others' reviews. It turned out to be a perfect spot for us. It's about 45 mins from Honolulu. In rush hour it never took us more than an 1:15 to make the trip. We planned our travels accordingly. There are a couple great dining options close. Country Side cafe and the Beach House were both great. We were told No. 1 Chinese was good but didn't make it by. The locals and staff were very friendly. Communication with the owner is great. There is a large homeless population in the area. We had no negative encounters with them. The beach after dark esp. on the weekend is not a place to be. Part of our stay was during spring break. There was a party taking place on the grounds. Security was driving around. Pretty soon it was quiet. They shut them down. We'd stay here again!

A beautiful condo complex
It was a beautiful complex. I loved that we were on the putter edge and not right in the middle, but it was peaceful, quiet and beautiful. Wonderful being on the first floor so we didn't have to climb lots of steps. Home was beautiful and clean. (Needs a new pair of kitchen scissors.)
Loved that it was so close to the beach, great walk in the morning to the beach and back.

I loved everything about this condo.
I was away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Just down the road was a beautiful beach that was super quiet. They supply a great amount of beach items for you to use. The manager replied back immediately whenever I had problems and was great. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect for our needs
Since we were visiting our son who lives in Waianae, the location of the condo was convenient. The condo community of Makaha Valley Plantation is secure, very well kept, and has two nice pools with hot tubs. There are nice beaches on the leeward side of O’ahu that are near the condo. If you plan to travel to other sites on the island, keep in mind that traffic can be very heavy heading into and back from Honolulu, especially during the morning and evening rush hours.

Paradise
Beautiful place to visit. A little far away from downtown or the North Shore but for the value it is not bad to just plan a little extra time for your travel. Great owners to work with and lots of room for our family of 4.

Condo with partial ocean view
We had a great stay. The property is over a mile from the beach but there is a partial view from the huge lanai. Makaha Beach was an amazing place for snorkeling and watching the sunset. It is right down the road.

Our wonderfull getaway.
Clean well kept updated unit ,air conditioner worked well was hot outside and very comfortable inside. Great base to get out and explore the less commercialized part of the island. Loved the scenery and beauty every where you look. Felt safe and secure during our stay would highly recommend this unit and would like to return in the future.

Perfect
We loved our stay at this property. The place was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. It was such a pleasant surprise to find beach towels, tote bags and boogie boards for our excursions. I loved sitting out on the lanai in the mornings, drinking coffee and watching the sun hit the mountains. The master bathroom has THE NICEST SHOWER. The whole place was beautiful and we were very pleased and impressed.

Beautiful home away from home!
Staying at your home away from home was beautiful and very relaxing! My elderly parents were very comfortable and safe and enjoyed the peacocks! Staff was really nice especially the security shack guards! The next time we’re in the area I would be glad to stay there again! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

Lovely and comfortable
My husband, myself and our adult daughter enjoyed this property. We felt safe in a gated community and the beach was close-by. The kitchen was well stocked with needed appliances and the beach equipment was so helpful. The Owner was available by text whenever a question needed to be answered. The peacocks were beautiful and were enjoyed by many as they strutted their stuff! Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your property! Mahalo.
