You have the luxury of private beaches with the convenience of an easy drive to all of the fun attractions at Myrtle Beach or Wilmington.
Sunshine in my Soul is a stunning 6 bedroom 6 1/2 bathroom oceanfront home with an interior elevator to all floors. With 3 levels of entertaining and living space, a brand new private pool with oversized deck(photos of new pool coming soon) & private boardwalk directly to the ocean, this home is perfect for multi-family or multi-generational vacations. Each of the 6 spacious bedrooms has an en suite private bathroom and there is a half bath off of the main living area on the 3rd floor. Delight in the beautiful panoramic views of the ocean from the main living area; fully equipped with indoor dining areas for 14. Granite countertops & new luxury appliances make the fully stocked kitchen a cook’s delight.
Do you have kids that don’t want to hang out with mom & dad? Sunshine in my Soul has a separate kids living area with 55 in. smart TV. They can play Xbox, board games or just hang out having fun.(Xbox not included in rental, but feel free to bring your own) This room also has a queen sleeper sofa and twin loft bed for those teenagers who want to game all night!
The home’s inverted floor plan allows you to watch both the sunrise & sunset from the extra-large oceanfront deck that spans the width of the entire home; shaded in some areas and offering full sun in others, to satisfy sun worshipers and shade lovers alike. The top deck boasts comfortable custom outdoor furniture and a 6 ft custom picnic table for dinners overlooking the ocean. The 2nd floor deck also spans the width of the home, but is totally shaded for those who like to enjoy the cool ocean breeze without having to cover up in sunscreen. This deck has a comfy outdoor bed and a hammock for enjoying your favorite book or taking an afternoon beach nap. On the bottom level, our private pool with luxury chaise lounges, dining area for 9, entertaining area and grill will make your afternoons a delight. Brand new pool with expanded deck was installed in March 2024 (photos coming soon). The private outdoor shower gives everyone a place to rinse off before heading inside for the evening. Full size washer and dryer on 2nd floor allow you to pack less and wash your items during your stay. The home is within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream and coffee shop and Holden Beach Pavilion for Sunday night concerts.
Home has 2 King beds, 2 Queen beds, 2 Full beds and 4 twin bunks as well as a Queen sleeper sofa and twin loft bed in Kid’s living room. It sleeps 19 comfortably in beds with room for cots & sleeping bags for extra sleeping space. Mesh WIFI network with fiber internet provides amazing Wi-Fi coverage throughout the large home. One of the bedrooms on the top floor has a desk and monitor perfect for remote working or learning. Fresh linens & bath towels are included with every stay & will be on the beds when you arrive. No need to spend the first hour of your stay making beds! Just show up and relax!
The home also has a keyless entry lock system so there's no need to carry around keys during your stay.
Concierge tent service included with a 7 night rental. We will have a tent delivered and set up on the beach for you each morning and taken down for you each afternoon. Tent service is provided Sunday through Friday of your Sat-Sat stay.

Great location and the house was just right for our family. Short walk to the beach and the property provided plenty of beach chairs and sand toys. We all enjoyed the pool too.
The third floor deck had wonderful views of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare our meals.
Unfortunately tropical storm Debby was a challenge for us; but we made the best of it-sometimes dodging rain drops! It was still a great week at “Sunshine in my soul”!

What a wonderful oceanfront house!
We have never rented a beach house that came so well-stocked with essentials for the week, such as beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, and even ziplock bags. We appreciated how clean the house was on arrival (amazing that one gal can ready such a big house between guests), we loved the daily tent service, the well-appointed kitchen, a real coffee pot (not kuerig fans), the extra downstairs fridge, quality deck and pool furniture, and the deck and pool gates to safeguard the little ones. The kids loved the pool, especially on the days when there was rough ocean surf. Location is wonderful. Great owner communication.
We will cherish the family memories from our week at Sunshine in My Soul.

Perfect for our three generation family gathering. The house is beautifully furnished and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. The new pool was a great place to hang out when not at the beach. The concierge tent service was a wonderful addition. The only thing wanting is a gas grill rather than the charcoal grill provided.

Our extended family spent a wonderful beach week celebrating Grandma’s 75th birthday at Holden Beach! We had ages 4-75 and the house and location were great. The house is well-equipped with everything you need, and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out- adults spent evenings on the porch and kids used both tv rooms. Beach and pool were fantastic and the daily tent service was much appreciated. We did add another tent given our group size. The owner was super organized in communication and even helped us find a photographer to take pictures right at the house. Definitely recommend TAD Photography! We also took surf lessons from Holden Beach Surf Crew and rented a pontoon one day for intercostal fishing. We loved the house and would definitely recommend it!

Location on Holden Beach was perfect, near the causeway bridge but not too near to the traffic; beautiful view of the ocean from 2nd and 3rd floor porches; good sized pool; plenty of pool furniture and toys; great beach with daily tent set up service.

Best. Vacation. Ever. Our framily had a wonderful week together at Holden. We loved the proximity to the beach and the complimentary tent service provided each day. It made for a very relaxing week! We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, sand toys, beach chairs and pack n play available. Jenny was also responsive to any questions that we had! The property is great with 6 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths. We used to own and rent out a beach house and I am very familiar with "check out and check in day" and that not all renters are good. We treat a property like it is ours and try to leave it better than we found it. There is simply not enough time to make things spotless in a few hours. That said, this house was clean and ready for our stay with fresh sheets on the beds and included a set of towels or two depending on the size of the bed. The folks before us were not the best renters leaving the beach chairs in a pile most in the storage room and some in the outdoor shower neither of which was as requested by the property owners.
Our stay which included our four daughters, four sons in law and eight grandchildren from 15 to 21 years who were there mostly in shifts with two days when we had 17 people and it all worked great. It had been 8 years since we visited Holden Beach having sold our property there in 2015. Our grand kids enjoyed the beach from an early age which made coming back even more enjoyable. Holden Beach is a special place and holds many old and now new memories. This house made it possible and we enjoyed it all.

This was our second year staying here as an extended family of 8 adults and 7 kids, and it was another fantastic year! The house is very clean and well appointed with all the linens, towels, beach equipment, and toys! We enjoyed the pool and quick access to the beach, as well as the tent that was provided on the beach during our stay! You can't beat the views of the ocean and the privacy of the beach. The communication with Jenny was always quick and we had not problems during our stay. Would highly recommend for families traveling to Holden Beach!

Jenny's house was wonderful for our large group. We had 6 adults and 6 kids under 5 and 1 infant. The location is amazing; steps from the beach and the pool was nice and big for our group and a great way to cool off after the beach. It was nice to have the small kids play area on a separate level to give us some space once in a while. We would definitely recommend!

Our experience was great - lots of towels, chairs for the beach, private pool, and having the tent set up every day was fantastic. House was very clean and exactly suited our three families coming together. Loved being right on the beach and watching the sunset and sunrise right from the deck. Early august is turtle hatching time - we saw lots of baby turtles right down the beach. Looking forward to coming back for our annual Holden family trip.

Family Vacation
Excellent property, excellent location and friendliness / communication with the owner make it a true vacation. Didn’t have to worry about a thing. Had one or two minor issues with the house but the owner had maintenance out there right away. Perfect family spot with the beach not too busy so there’s room to play games with the family on the beach. Very windy week so it was good for boogie boarding. Overall great experience and family vacation. Restaurants could be better in the area but has nothing to do with the house. Definitely can’t go wrong!

Family Beach Week
The layout of the home and its location, the pool, the decks and the views they afforded were perfect for us. The second refrigerator, the elevator, the Kids Room, an abundance of pool and beach toys and chairs were big winners. Nice appliances and a well stocked kitchen, plenty of Soft Soap and toilet tissue, etc...all greatly appreciated. The daily tent setup was a real bonus.
On the down side, we thought the overall condition of the home, (inside and out) was somewhat sub par. Our feeling is that the home could stand a general overhaul, both from a condition and a cleanliness standpoint...something much more than what a cleaning crew could possibly address in a few hours during turnovers. A few things that we shouldn't have encountered, however: Some kitchen trash not removed; sufficient bath and hand towels not initially provided; residue of sand not removed in the area leading up to the second floor living area from the carport; disarray in the carport and the ground floor deck areas (hoses, pool items, beach chairs strewn about); beach chairs and other items haphazardly stored in the outside closet; front door handle and lock set not secured to the door. We will say though that communication with the Stoners on things that did come up during the week was excellent. They were very responsive...an A+
Summing up, we had a very pleasant stay at Sunshine In My Soul. We would recommend it to other vacationers with profiles similar to ours. The place simply needs some attention - some rehabbing that would involve an investment in time and money to make it really "shine."

Wonderful Beach House!
We had a wonderful time staying at Sunshine In My Soul during 4th of July week! The house was very roomy for 17 of us, 9 adults and 8 kids. The bunk room was perfect for our 4 younger grandkids. We loved the beautiful open kitchen/ family room area where we could cook, play cards, work puzzles, and watch tv while being together. The kitchen was very well stocked! The balcony right off of this area had great chairs for beautiful beach views while relaxing and having coffee. The kids loved the pool and floats that were provided. The beach was great for collecting some great shells. You may want to bring water shoes for going into the water because of the shells. Jenny, the owner, was wonderful to work with. She made it very easy. Thank you for making your home so welcoming!!

Wonderful House for a Family Vaca!
We stayed at this wonderful property in June with 8 adults and 7 kids under 7. The house had plenty of space for everyone to spread out! The house is very clean and well appointed with linens, towels, kitchen utensils, and even beach chairs and pool toys! We loved the expansive views of the ocean from the top living floor, and the pool was a hit with the kids all day every day. We loved spending time on the beach searching for shells or riding the waves. Jenny (the owner) is super responsive and helpful throughout the entire rental process and during our stay. We loved our stay and have booked already for our return trip next year! Highly recommend this house for a large family/multi family beach vacation!

Perfect Location!
This was our 4th stay in Holden and the first in this house. The location was great and the house was perfect for our party of 15. There was plenty of space both inside and out. The owner was very easy to communicate with, too. I would highly recommend and will return!

Sunshine worked really well for our family. The owners went out of their way to answer our questions, the house is astoundingly well equipped, beachfront access perfect, and the pool was /is a real bonus.
Even though the owner said he had a "honey-do" list, upon our arrival, it looked like the glass on all the doors had not been wiped down. There was a "musty smell" on the first floor. There was a powdery sweet substance sprinkled on the access stairs (from the underneath house parking area) that hadn't been vacuumed.
The master on 1st floor has major spills and spots on the carpet, and there is a lot of dust behind the nightstands and headboard. We would not have noticed it if we hadn't dropped something on the floor.
Towel rings and the TP holder in 1st floor bath were pulling out of the wall. The tiles in some of the bathrooms were dirty as well.
Looked as if the air intakes were dirty, past water damage repair on living area ceiling was noticeable, kitchen sink caulk was mildewed.
We had to wipe down all the outdoor furniture from sand and dirt, found a plastic bag blowing around the pool and shells everywhere in the area.
Lots of nail pops on decking everywhere were hard on bare feet.
There is wood is falling in at the swimming pool filter location, and there are a few cracks in the fiberglass around the pool.
Please don't get me wrong: these are minor fixes to an absolutely great property. We're just sad the dates we wanted to book for next year aren't available.

Annual Family Beach Week
We love this house. It feels like home, except oceanfront. My mother (84) and my brother and I with our spouses and families and now their future spouses enjoyed this house. Everything is thoughtfully stocked and planned. The house is very clean and the porch and porch furniture are wonderful. The tall chairs are great for those who are over 6” and 4”8 ! The view is great for everyone with these chairs instead of trying to see over the porch rails. The hammock stayed in high demand! The pool is a very nice convenience and having the tent put up on the beach everyday is truly a great luxury we really appreciated ! We laughed over memories of how we dragged stuff back and forth everyday when all 6 of our kids were little & how nice that canopy would have been 25 years ago!! We had a small issue with the AC, called and it was fixed within 2 hours! I hate to say too much because I would like to keep this house our secret, ha ha !! We have rented the house again for next year and are looking forward to coming back!! Truly, if you have a large family this house is wonderful!!

Perfect house for large family gathering
Celebrated my Mom's 75th birthday with the extended family. Everyone agreed the set up was perfect. Having the pool was a hit with all the kids, and being able to walk back and forth from the beach so quickly was super convenient. Everyone also loved having their own bathroom. Wish our trip was longer.

The rental process was seamless and easy. Communications to and from the Owners was excellent. The property itself was as described and amenities were excellent. The beach and surf were excellent for the young kids especially at low tides with ankle deep water across the broad sandbar.

Wonderful stay in beautiful home!
Our entire family, 8 adults and 9 kids, stayed in this beautiful home. It was on the beach with a pool which suited us perfectly. The house could use another refrigerator or larger one for so many people. It is in a great location, well stocked kitchen and lots of beach chairs and beach toys!! I would highly recommend!!!
