About this house rental
This 4 bedroom comfortable and welcoming detached 2400 SF home has lots of mountain ambience and attention to detail, comfort and your convenience. It works well for both large and small groups. There are views of the mountains from several windows. The main floor living area includes a wood burning fireplace with wood provided, lots of windows, and high ceilings. There is an adjacent spacious dining area with a large expandable table. Upstairs is a newly constructed 20 x 20 great room with a gas fireplace, wet bar, and large screen TV. The house has been recently updated with all new doors and flooring throughout. There are four bedrooms (two kings -- both upstairs) , 2 queens, & a set of bunk beds -- both main floor) and a pleasant living room area that walks out onto a deck, gas fired grill, and a private hot tub. In addition to three bathrooms, 2 of the 4 bedrooms have private sinks which allows several guests to get ready at once in the mornings. There are 3 TV's with DVD's available and also high speed internet access.
Our fully equipped kitchen includes spices, hot chocolate, teas, salad dressings, flour, sugar, and several condiments. A breakfast bar seats 3 and dining table expands to seat 12. The two car attached garage will safely store your skis, bikes or fishing poles. The driveway can easily handle four additional vehicles. Our summer and falls guests will enjoy our flagstone patio area with a table, chairs and fire pit. Be sure to read our guest comments -- all of which have been posted by guests themselves. We have never had a negative comment and have regular repeat guests. We are walking distance (3 blocks)to many shops & casual or fine dining and to the free Summit Stage Shuttle which will take you to Keystone, Copper or Breckenridge. Vail, A-Basin and Loveland are about a 20 - 25 min. drive. A very nice park, stream, and bike path are 1 block away. We have bikes and games available for your use. If you visit in the summer or fall, we can provide a list of some of our favorite activities. No matter what season it is, you'll love this place and this delightful, relaxed, friendly town. We are about 1 mile to Walmart and Safeway and Starbucks (but walking distance to other coffee shops!!) and 4 miles to Outlet Malls in Silverthorne.
Other Info: 1) Our home is not an option for any long term rentals. 2) There are two outside security cameras located in the front of the property to monitor gas delivery, cleaning and maintenance people. One is located above the garage; the other is by the front door under the overhang.

This is the perfect base home for biking, hiking, kayaking, pickleball, and the parade! The 2nd common area was great for the people who had to work a bit. The owners are very responsive. The house is well supplied. And the new hot tub was a bonus! We will be back.

We had a terrific stay in this beautiful home for a girls ski/hike trip. Property was very clean and well appointed. We cooked most meals during our trip and found the kitchen perfectly equipped for all of our needs. We loved the upstairs family room for watching movies at night. Check-in was easy and property manager was helpful and pleasant. We travel to Frisco at least once yearly and would be thrilled to be able to stay at this property on future visits.

We have an amazing time. The apartment was perfect for us and was in a great location. We’ve been going to Frisco for a few years and this was by far the best place we rented. Thank you for a great trip.

This is an awesome home within walking distance of Frisco's main street. This is a fully stocked home with everything that a family needs. The home owners / hosts were so nice and friendly. They went the extra mile helping us with keys that we had accidently left in the home. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking at staying in Frisco.

Nothing but amazingness across-the-board. Barb our host was overly communicative and super kind and accommodating. Pictures of the listing don’t do justice to just how perfect it actually is. More than enough space for 10 perfectly located just outside of downtown Frisco close to everything in perfect distance from all the ski resorts. Most definitely looking forward to booking this space again next year.

Our family has stayed in Barb’s house several times since 2010, both summer and winter, and we have never been disappointed. There is plenty of room for adults to relax and visit after a busy day outside, and the upstairs room provides such a fun space for the kids of all ages to gather and make many fun memories. The kitchen is well-appointed for a rental, the dining table is perfect for large family meals, and the hot tub is a huge bonus. Go have some family fun!

We enjoyed 4 days of skiing at Breck and Vail. The place is very cozy and spacious: ample bedrooms, bathrooms, very nice fire place, and large hottub on deck with a grill. Highly recommended.

First off, I would like to give an amazing shout out to the owner, who was so accommodating, flexible and patient with us as we got "snowed in" and needed to add an extra night on to our stay. Very accurate description of the property. We were a group of 9 and this property had an abundance of room for all of us. We had three children with us, ages 15, 10 and 10, and they absolutely loved the upstairs loft gathering area. We rarely saw them. The 2 younger kiddos loved the hot tub. There was plenty of space for the adults downstairs to hang around the wood fire and play cards at the table. There were plenty of towels, dishes, glassware, etc to accommodate our large party. Nice quiet community and within walking distance to town, although due to weather conditions we did not walk. Close to the free sledding hill where the kids (and adults) had a blast. We would definitely recommend this property and reserve it again, if/when we decide to have a long ski weekend in Frisco/Keystone again!

The photos don’t do this house justice! Everything was great for our two families to gather and celebrate Thanksgiving. The two master suites were comfortable, the wood burning stove was so cozy, the two common spaces allowed everyone spots to relax, and the location was ideal. Thank you for sharing your home.

Owners where more than accommodating from day 1. I needed to change date of arrival and departure just a bit and was a breeze doing so. Also checking in and out communication was great. Never had to bug them as everything worked just as it should and clear instructions were available.

Had a fabulous girls weekend at this beautiful and well maintained home. There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room. We LOVED the location, especially the proximity to town and the picturesque walk to main street. We also took the short drive to Breckenridge and Vail. The host was beyond accommodating and extremely responsive to all communication. We'll be back!

The house has plenty of space for everyone and the two separate living areas are great when people go to bed earlier than others. The ability to walk to Main Street is perfect.

The home was great for our ski weekend reunion. Plenty of room to relax, the hot tub was excellent (and serviced while we were there), and there was ample parking in and outside the garage. We enjoyed our time and plan to return!

The house was wonderful and communication and instructions were excellent. Very convenient location!

Positives: This is a beautiful home, and the access to the town of Frisco is wonderful. It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants, as well as the ski shuttle to Copper Mountain. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the layout of the rooms, and the multiple common areas. Overall, a great value and location.
Negatives: Our communications with the host left a sour taste. Before we even arrived, we were told by the host that "every time I have issues with guests, they have always been in your age group", and she implied that we would not follow noise regulations. For context, my friends and I are all working professionals in our late 20s, and this was a couples trip among spouses and significant others.
When we arrived to the home, there was still unfinished food in storage containers in the fridge, and the dishwasher was full of wet dishes. Although this wasn't a big deal to us, this made us wonder if perhaps the house hadn't been thoroughly cleaned/checked after the previous guests.
After we checked out, the host accused us of damaging a cabinet door in the kitchen, which we knew nothing about. This was especially frustrating, as we took great care to respect all aspects of the house and leave it in clean and orderly condition.
Overall: This is a great stay due to the layout and beauty of the house, as well as its proximity to Frisco and Copper Mountain. It seems that the host has a predisposition against guests under the age of 30, though, which is something to be aware of.

Perfect spot for our family of 7 on a ski trip. We utilized both living spaces. The beds were perfect for our group. The house is stocked with everything we needed and many more things. If we wanted something, we just had to do a bit of a search through the cabinets. Location was fantastic. An easy walk to downtown Frisco. While we didn't utilize the bus, we did see the bus stops.

We enjoyed our stay at Barb’s for the weekend. We were celebrating a 30th birthday, and there was plenty of space for 10 adults. The location was nice in downtown Frisco. It was walking distance to some cute shops, but also a close drive to Dillon Marina. Our check in process required a signed rental agreement and ID which was different. There were cameras at the front, back, and in the garage of the property which weren’t mentioned in the listing. The beds were comfortable but the cleanliness was lacking. I think this place has a lot of potential, but needs a deep clean. We are a pretty easy going group, but with all the 5 star ratings, we were a little let down with the appearance of a quick surface clean. Barb did communicate well about when it was available which was appreciated. She also refunded $50 for the cleaning issues.
