BICYCLE - Bring along your bicycle to explore around the beach. Biking is also great if you choose to ride up to Opal Beach along the Gulf Island National Seashore (absolutely breathtaking views). It is a 7-mile bike ride in a safe lane that allows you to breathe in all the sights, sounds, and magnificence of the sea! You can also ride all the way on the bike trail to Pensacola Beach!
NAVARRE BEACH PIER - Want that bigger fish? Go to the Navarre Beach Pier where from sunrise to sunset you can fish all day! Great catches may be pompano, flounder, blackfin tuna, cobia, tarpon, king and Spanish mackerel. The pier is 30 feet above the water. Rent a fishing pole at the bait and tackle shop or just enjoy the stroll along the pier or the breeze at the pier restaurant.
DEEP SEA EXCURSIONS - For the ultimate fishing experience, schedule an all-day deep sea fishing charter in nearby Destin or Pensacola, complete with a captain who knows all the right fishing spots!
BOATING/PADDLEBOARDING - You can launch from the public launch beside Juana’s grill on the lower end of Navarre Beach. There is a large parking area where you may park your boat at the public boat launch.
SEA TURTLE CONSERVANCY - We love our sea turtles at Navarre Beach! Kids and adults alike may want to checkout the nearby Sea Turtle Conservancy to learn about these remarkable creatures and meet Sweet Pea, a juvenile green turtle who was found wrapped in fishing gear both inside and out and badly injured. Sweet Pea has since settled into her new home and is rehabilitating from the trauma causing her to lose a front flipper. You may notice the low mounted lights along the beach. Most lighting has been converted to have sea turtle friendly fixtures and low light bulbs. That is because nesting season mostly occurs at night and when hatchlings emerge, they can scurry down the beach to the sea without being disoriented by bright lights.
GREAT FOOD - Great food is close by! On Navarre Beach we have Windjammers Pier Bar (Enjoy amazing views from the Navarre Pier and local brews!), Broussards Bayou Grill (Laid-back eatery on the beach with a patio serving Southern staples like crawfish & grits, plus meats to go, live music), Juanas Pagoda Grill (Waterfront bar & grill with lots of entertainment, live music, beach volleyball & pool), Sailors Grill (Low-key spot serving American grub & cocktails for breakfast & beyond in a casual, beachfront setting), and the Beach House Bar and Grill (Gulf-front dining , handcrafted cocktails, fresh gulf-to-table seafood). If you leave the beach and go across the Navarre Beach bridge on Rt. 98, you will find many other restaurants in Navarre including TCs Front Porch, Bella Luna, Cactus Flower, Scooters, Culvers, NYPD Pizza, East Bay Crab House, Ye Olde Brothers Brewery, and Dave’s Oyster Bar.
SANTA ROSA SOUND - On our magnificent Santa Rosa sound you can paddle board, kayak, boat, jet ski, fish, and wind surf! (rentals available nearby). The sound is especially nice if you want to simply wade or allow small children to play in the water without large waves. Find your favorite spot along the long, pristine stretch of beaches on both sides of the Gulf Shore National Seashore.
HISTORIC FORTS - Along the Gulf Islands National Seashore there are unique places to visit and explore! Aside from the miles of white beaches you will find three historic fortifications spanning centuries of sea coastal defensive systems at Fort Barrancas. Hike along the historic routes used by soldiers while stationed at the forts. Historic Fort Pickens, one of the largest brick forts built in the United States, provided the setting for a serious effort by a small group of men to avert or at least postpone the outbreak of the Civil War. The Naval Live Oaks Area includes 7.5 miles of hiking trails and the fully accessible 0.8 mile Brackenridge Nature Trail directly behind park headquarters.
PENSACOLA BEACH - Take a drive to Pensacola Beach for other great restaurants! Many to choose from on the water front and try one of the local favorite drinks, the Bushwacker. A personal favorite restaurant is The Oar House and Hemingways. Also, the Crab House, Casino Beach Grill, SandShakers, Flounders, and many more! Explore historic Seville Square with morning brunches and great jazz! This historic section of Pensacola is filled with great night life and beautiful historic structures.
BLUE ANGELS! - Be sure to visit the nearby Naval Air Station and you may be lucky enough to see the Blue Angels on a practice run! The Blue Angels do their spectacular final air show in Pensacola on Veterans Day, November 11. There are other air shows throughout the year. The US Air Force has 2 bases in the area: Hurlburt Field and Eglin. You may spot an occasional Osprey CV-22 or military helicopter on training flight.
NATIONAL NAVAL AVIATION MUSEUM - Take an amazing day trip to The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, one of the most-visited museums in the state of Florida. See more than 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation. These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed both inside the Museum’s and outside on its 37-acre grounds. Fly in one of their full motion simulators or see The Magic of Flight, their own Laser Powered Giant Screen Digital Theater film projected on a seven-story high screen and feel like you’ve had a bona fide ride with the Blue Angels. While there, enjoy a delicious lunch at the authentic Cubi Bar Café, decorated with more than 1,000 squadron and unit plaques reassembled from the historic Officers’ Club at Cubi Point in the Philippines.
THE GULF BREEZE ZOO - The Gulf Coast Area’s award-winning Gulf Breeze Zoo is home to more than 900 native and exotic animals. The Zoo offers many hands on animal encounters and kid’s activities. Ride through herds of free ranging animals on the brand new Safari Express train to view hippos, rhinos, gorillas and African antelope up close! Feed giraffe, enjoy the free-flight bird aviary and much, much more.
Elevator is based on management approval.

We had a great time. Everything was spot on!

My group of 11 (ages from 1 year old to 60) stayed here for 5 days while we were in town for our wedding. This house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone! Centrally located with easy access to multiple beach areas. And the elevator gave us easy access for the youngest and oldest in our group that weren't able to use the stairs. It was perfect!

We just got back from our family vacation in Navarre Beach, Florida. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay at Sonata Sunset beach house. We would rate our experience a 10. We only had 1 issue, TV in bunk bed room wasn’t working however we messaged our host and her husband was there same day and was fixed instantly! The house was clean and managed perfectly. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Very easy walk to the beach and pier.

The property was beautiful, close to the beach, it offered everything we wanted! The owner was great, quick to reapond to any questions.
10.0 / 10.0
Ours was a winter stay (week surrounding New Years) so we were inside a lot and the pool couldn't be used. Quiet, comparatively private, high quality location convenient to beach, pier and walk/ride paths. Comfortable furnishings for 7-8 adults plus a few kids. Nice kitchen setup. Full garage and handy elevator.

We had a great time. Nephew's wedding on the beach. So close to everything!! Lots of room and very clean! We had 7 adults and more than enough room for all!! Elevator made luggage and groceries much easier to bring up!! Plenty of dishes/ cookware. All you need to bring is yourself and a few clothes!!

We had an electrical issue our 1st night and the management team was over and fixing it within minutes of contacting them. Great response! We loved our stay and will stay here again!

The beach house was nice , just had a problem with the elevator a few times. It would not open on the floor that it was suppose to. My son got stuck on it one time. Took about 15 minutes to finally get it to open. Water pressure on second floor in one of the showers wasn't very good. Other than that , it was fine. The community pool is very small, so walked to the beach every day. Had lots of fun at the beach, water was very pretty.

Great, Quiet Rental
This property is top notch! Appliances are top of the line, kitchen is well stocked. Elevator was a nice bonus. Best part was the location, walk to main road and beach access as well as walking distance to dock on the bay. Quiet home with nice furniture and decor. Definitely recommend!

Great Home Away from Home
The property was really nice and clean. There was plenty of space for our group and just a short distance from the beach. The pool came in very handy as there was a day or two of jelly fish invasions. The greatest thing about this house was the elevator. It was such a blessing to have to send luggage and/or groceries up or down. We loved staying here!

Amazing location
We absolutely loved this small community!!! We had the best of both worlds… sound on one side and gulf on the other side!!! Within walking distance to the pier and a couple of restaurants!!! We rented golf carts from Navarre custom carts and had so much fun!! House was roomy for my family and everything was in working order!!! My daughter actually left her military ball dresses we got and Michelle was kind enough to make sure they were found and let my father in law pick them up!! Also the house had an elevator for my father in law to use when he couldn’t make it up the stairs!! Ample parking for 5 cars!! It was fabulous!!

Large house very close to the beach.
Very roomy, nice for a large group. This rental has an elevator, but I don't think it is ADA approved. It is nice to be able to pull into the garage, put your bags or groceries in the elevator and take them up to the 2nd or 3rd floors. The "Tower Room" is pretty neat but the futon in this room is, well, a futon. All of the other beds and rooms were lovely. Rental managers were extremely helpful and responsive. Great rental for a large family/group at the beach!

Nice stay
This was our 2nd time visiting Navarre. The last home we stayed at was booked, so we chose this one. It was great, had alot of rooms and space. Manager was super easy to communicate with. Very easy walk to the beach. The only complaint I would have is that the couch needs some major deep cleaning. We really didn't want to sit on it at all because of how dirty it looked. Other than that. Everything was clean and nice. Beds were comfy.

Great spot for the family
This place was perfect! The size of the house for all of us, the cleanliness when we arrived, the owners responded so quickly to my messages. We extended our stay and the owner was able to adjust that for us immediately. The house is so close to the beach and the pools, it was extremely convenient especially with two little ones.

Between the waters
Great property Short walk to both the Gulf and the inland Bay. When the Gulf Beach was rough (wave wise) the Bay was calm. And then it would reverse. Great for paddle boarding

Beach life living
The location could only have been better if it were directly on the Gulf. It was so relaxing and a wonderful getaway!!! We're planning on it being an annual vacation.

Great House for a big family or generations staying together
House was great, beds comfortable and soft. Across the road from Ocean Beach Access (bit of a walk with a lot of stuff in tow) but all level walking and its close enough for sure.. and a really short walk to the Sound access, less than five minutes. We swam in the small pool one day, it was quiet and nice. We watched several DVD's from the collection in the house, that was nice to do together. Not much of a view from the balcony's but that was the biggest disappointment. Elevator wasnt what we expected either, we did not use but I was afraid my son would get stuck like he did the first time he used it. Could use some outdoor seating on balconys. Great area, quiet and very clean. Would love to stay again... SOON!

Great for a group
We loved our stay! Very roomy house and a short walk to the beach. House had chairs and toys to use at the beach in case you forget yours! Master bedroom and bath was awesome! Along with the other rooms and baths! The kitchen was stocked great!
The walk out balconies were all beautiful! The neighborhood was very friendly! We talked to other vacationers as we walked the short walk to the bay side or beach! Would definitely recommend this house to others!

Great House
Great location , Great access to beach and all amenities for our our purposes and Michelle and Johhney were GREAT and there to help and to answer any questions we asked, House was fantastic and the elevator was so handy ,,,easy access and we had a person with a wheelchair...only thing was that the access to the third floor was not easy access to wheelchairs, but we helped her up the two little stairs and she was fine and would recommend this listing to anyone with 8 or more people..JEFF MOORE

Loved the Home and Navarre
We found the property perfect for our family group. We all loved the home and it fit our needs well. The kitchen was larger and easier to work in than expected and we all loved the large table! Beds were comfortable and we also loved the location! The easy beach access was as described and the bayside beach was such a plus, especially for our young grandsons! We would definitely rent again!

Wonderful vacation
Michelle was great to deal with and very quick to respond to us. The home is very nice. The only suggestion I have is to have more deck furniture so that the outside area could be enjoyed more. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything we needed. The elevator was such a nice feature when unloading and loading. The unit was clean except the downstairs floors. The cleaning crew didn't clean them very well and if you walked barefoot your feet would get black.
The neighbors were very friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice place, good location
The place itself is nice, very accommodating, has many upgrades. It's big enough to give grandparents, parents, kids and grandkids their own space. The beds were comfy and there was more than enough bedding. It had everything we needed however, some of the kitchen supplies could be replaced, the coffee makers and pots and pans were especially worn. The bathrooms were clean, however it could use a good deep cleaning. The rugs and carpets were very dirty, under the couch cushions, etc. While its a nice gesture to make available to future guests, the items left behind from prior guests should be thrown out, i.e. the spices in the cabinet were clumpy and old. The elevator was definitely a plus. However, it did not always open on the floor we were stopped on. A few times we had to move it to another floor for the door to open, even though all doors were closed as instructed. It seems the 2nd floor door gets stuck at times. The neighborhood was nice, beach access was a huge plus. It is a very busy area and eating out with a large party was a problem. Over all it was well worth the price. We had a great time and had no major issues with the place.

Property was beautiful! Loved having the elevator, made packing and unpacking so much less of a chore. Just a short walk to gulf beach and also a cute little beach on the sound, which was perfect for our family to relax in. Loved having the security of the garage it was the perfect place to store our bikes with peace of mind. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this home!

More than one coffee make.
I think the funniest thing was not looking for a coffee maker. We saw the Keurig. Pretty previous renters have done the same considering there were 2 or 3 in the cabinets. We loved it there and will definitely consider renting the same place. Very family friendly and the convenience of location to the public beach and the private one is spectacular. Beautiful through and through.

Will be back!
Great location, excellent communication with property manager, and plenty of room. Private neighborhood access to beautiful sound and just a short walk across the street to the public beach access. We were especially thankful for how well-stocked the house was with cooking utensils, kids dishes, extra bedding, a pack-n-play, and lots of beach toys. Thank you for a great vacation!

Better than expected.
The house was better than expected. So many amenities are not listed and were a nice surprise. The elevator came in very handy. There was a charcoal BBQ and several beach chairs and toys. The house décor and furnishing were new and in great shape. The house had everything we needed including two play and packs. We found out from another resident that the house comes with access to the docks on inter-coastal waterway. It was a nice place to fish. The community pool is not very large but nice for cooling off. We loved Navarre Beach and would stay at this house again.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Sonata Sunset. The house is very clean and spacious. The location is PERFECT with such easy access to the beach. Navarre Beach is a neat place, not touristy. The neighbors were very friendly and we really enjoyed the sunsets. We would DEFINITELY come back here.

Excellent property and location
This was an amazing property. Clean, beautiful, spacious. The only consideration is that it has lots of stairs, but that is very common on the Florida coasts. There's an outdoor elevator, which is a tremendous help for those who don't do well with stairs. This is a quality property, and provides great value for the price. We will stay in this property again when in the area.

The perfect place to stay!
This house was perfect for our group of 10 people. Plenty of room, a big table for meals and games, and very comfortable sleeping! The house was an easy walk to the beach and close to a nice little community pool. I had NO complaints!

Scott family vacation 2019
The house was ok, but is slightly overpriced. There were two bedrooms without televisions, there were no lamps in any of the bedrooms so reading in bed at night was not possible. The only deck furniture was 2 picnic tables except for two chairs outside the master bedroom so sitting outside was not an option for a family our size. My mom is in a wheelchair & the beach access ramp had stairs which made it impossible to get her to the beach. We got permission to use the ramp at the resort next door and a resident actually drove over to the house and belittled my mom & family for using it. There was also a resident of the subdivision who came to our door and threatened to call the police and have a vehicle towed that didn't even belong to us. Finally the elevator worked randomly at best for 4 days of the trip. I give 100% credit to Michelle the property manager for getting a repair service to us every time we called. The stairs could use a power wash as there was mold on most of them. To get any AC in the tower room the house had to be uncomfortably cool. Finally there is no view of the gulf. You can sort of see it from the balcony of the master bedroom. but not really. The house was big enough to accommodate 10 adults and one child and really fulfilled our family's needs. It could just use some improvements.

Lovely Home, Fantastic Beaches
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Michelle was easy to reach for any problems we had, and the elevator outside was a huge bonus for loading and unloading. It was as close to the beach as one could get without being right on it, and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly! There are stores and fresh fish markets close by, and the beds were very comfortable! We did find that some reviews said there were beach toys and beach chairs to use, but the chairs were rather old and rusty, and there were no beach carts or supplies. Just be aware to bring your own beach supplies should you need them. Overall it was a great house and we had a wonderful experience! Thank you, Michelle!!!
