Upon arrival (or the following morning) all guests with vehicles will need to go to the front desk to register for a parking pass. You can also ask for the pool code at this time. Please note that smoking is only permitted on the Maui Banyan property in the two designated smoking areas. Smoking is not permitted in our condo, on our lanai or on the complex grounds other then in the smoking areas.

Aloha, Welcome to our Maui Banyan Retreat. We love Maui and visit often, replacing items and upgrading our condo as needed.

Our walk-out unit is on the ground floor in the Q building of the popular Maui Banyan Resort. Features include stainless steel appliances and granite counters in the kitchen, granite counters in the bathrooms, tile floors throughout and solid wood furniture. This 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit with a king sized bed and a queen sized sofa bed is perfect for a couples getaway or a family with small children. Watch cable TV on the Vizio smart TV in the living room that has a DVD/blu ray player. There is a Denon stereo system for you to listen to your favorite island music on local radio stations. The bedroom TV has a Vizio TV as well and both TV’s have basic cable. Wireless internet and one parking space are included.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai amid tropical foliage and warm tradewinds. Our unit is just steps to the pool, hot tub and BBQ area. Relax by the pool in a recliner, enjoy a beverage in the hot tub using plastic glasses supplied in the condo or grill your steaks and enjoy your dinner poolside, where there are tables and chairs. Our condo is conveniently located near the upper pool area that has a hot tub, shower, washrooms and 6 immaculate Weber grill's, 3 inside the pool area and 3 outside the pool area. There are also 6 other grills in the lower pool area.

Our kitchen has solid wood cupboards, granite counters and stainless appliances . Fully equipped this kitchen has a fridge with ice maker, stove, dishwasher, microwave, full sized drip coffeemaker and well as a keurig, toaster, electric kettle and blender. The kitchen island has 2 bar stools. The bathrooms have solid wood cabinets and granite countertops. There is a washer and dryer in the unit.

For your convenience our condo has an assortment of beach equipment which may include pails and shovels, beach chairs, towels, boogy boards, snorkeling equipment, coolers, beach mats, beach umbrella and tennis rackets. Just bring sunscreen (reef safe please) and you are set for a day at the beach or the pool. Wander through the lush tropical complex gardens to Kamaole II's white sand beach just across the street from the resort. Swim, snorkel, suntan or play in the waves at Kamaole II. If you prefer grilling with briquets the beach park has small outdoor grills.

Walk to restaurants, shops, bike rentals and an ABC store. Try the local coffee shops or walk the 1.4 miles to Starbucks. Though a car is not necessary to enjoy your time in Kihei, there are so many great Maui's activities and attractions an easy drive away, including world renown beaches, restaurants and shopping in Wailea, Makena and Kaanapalii.

My husband and I had a great stay at Pam and Glyns condo for our first anniversary. Was super easy to check in/out and had great amenities for the beach and pool like beach chairs, towels, boogie boards etc. Was very clean and exactly as pictured.

A quiet and shady condo nestled in a tropical garden. The condo was very clean and well furnished. Communication with the owners was extremely friendly, courteous and responses to questions were answered very quickly. We would book Pam and Glyn's accommodation again should we have the opportunity to come back to Maui.

My wife and I had an AMAZING time on this first trip to Maui. All the info we needed and more was provided at booking. The unit was as beautiful as the pictures, everything we could possibly need was provided and we took advantage of the beach accessories, info on local attractions, pool & barbeque. I can't think of a way this experience could have been improved. Pam & Glyn were so thoughtful and complete with their instructions and recommendations. The completely outfitted kitchen, unit layout with 2nd bath, cleanliness, location, privacy, peace and quiet......I can go on and on, everything was excellent. Condo staff were also extremely friendly, and the grounds were immaculate (landscaping staff ever present). The pool near us was cleaned daily, hot tub is actually hot and the grills looked like they have never been used (and I used them). The assigned parking space was also very close by. When, not if we return, this will be our first choice - no need to look again. Thank you Pam and Glyn for opening your home and enabling a trip and so many wonderful memories! To future guests, we also made the right decision to use a local company for car rental, Makoa Rental Car. It was less costly than the big agencies, car is left right in the airport parking lot (no shuttle, waiting or lines), ours was fairly new with low miles and communication was excellent - a no brainer if what you need is provided by them. Pam’s condo, just a short jaunt to the warm Maui waters, was a perfect spot to unwind. The complex has beautiful grounds and at least 2 pools, one very close to the unit (but not noisy). The beach is just across the street from the complex. Inside the unit was fully stocked with any amenity you might need from beach supplies to cooking tools. The A/C was cold! The bed was comfy. Parking included. Great restaurants nearby. Fantastic Maui getaway!

This was my third time staying at the Maui Banyan in the last 7 months and this unit was my favorite. The location in the property was perfect, very close to the back pool. The patio is lovely with beautiful landscaping that kept it shaded so I could enjoy it even during the hottest times of the day. Communication with the host was perfect. Thank you Pam!

My husband and I were really happy with our stay overall. The condo was a refuge after adventure filled days- it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and more. We had some issues with bugs inside the hallway bathroom and we were let in a bit late by the cleaner but Pam was really accommodating and responsive. We were given a small but greatly appreciated refund amount for having to wait outside while the cleaner finished up and towards the end of our stay, Pam offered us a late checkout which we gladly took. Thank you Pam and Glynn for having us, we are excited to come back in the future. Mahalo!

We loved our stay in Kihei! This condo exceeded our expectations. It had all of the amenities we needed - we appreciated the beach chairs, towels and cooler! We loved the close proximity to the beach (literally one block away) and super close to shops/restaurants. Parking was always available and convenient. We can’t wait to plan another trip back.

The condo was in a great location with beaches and dining within east walking distance! Condo had a great patio that opened onto a large open area. Also, it had all the beach gear you would want (beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, etc.). Well stocked condo. Definitely would stay again.

Before booking this lovely condo, I read most of the reviews/comments by former guests, and they were all raving about how wonderful Pam's place was...and they were absolutely correct!!! Everything that you could possibly want or need for a week in paradise was provided, and not only that, but everything was well-organized, easy to find and in good condition. And the whole condo was sparkling clean!!! Just to list a few of the things I was most happy to find: A large-brimmed straw hat ...didn't need to go out and buy one. Night lights in both bathrooms & one in the kitchen area, making it easy to orient oneself if waking up in the night. 100% cotton, great quality sheets made sleeping very comfortable! Koozie holders for your drinks...very helpful in a humid climate. Several different Hawaii/Maui travel guides to borrow/use, plus a nice variety of books to read in case you forgot to bring your own. Great beach towels, beach mats, sunbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, large reusable shopping bags to cart stuff around. Fridge/freezer has an efficient ice-maker and there was one ice pack provided. Good, efficient lighting thru-out the condo, and outdoors as well. Convenient location to the upper swimming pool/hot tub/outdoor grills. (Note: grills only available until 9:30 pm) Convenient to walk to beach & close-by restaurants. It is also fairly quiet. Very little street noise, as the unit is pretty far back from main street. Over all it was a wonderful place to stay!!! Hope to visit again!!! Mahalo!!!

We enjoyed our time at Pam's place! It was well equipped with everything we would need for our vacation, including great beach gear. In a convenient location, right across from a really good beach and close to restaurants and other towns. The only downside were all the rough speed bumps coming into the property, but that's a minor complaint and not their fault.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The location was perfect, steps away from a quiet beach, and the condo was clean and spacious. Perfect for two people but could comfortably house a third person. Never needed to reach out to the owners because all of the instructions were crystal clear. Thanks for a great stay!
