My daughter had 1 week off from med school this summer and wanted to go to the beach and relax. Sea Joy was the perfect spot. Just steps from the pool and beach. We enjoyed our stay and Stephanie was a wonderful VRBO host. She was always quick to respond to questions. The cottage is clean and inviting. Would highly recommend!

Great location, excellent setup for kids. Extremely easy checkout instructions. Property was pretty clean. Only real gripe is lack of essentials (only 2 dishwasher soap pods, only one spare roll of toilet paper, etc.)

Minutes away from the beach, this house has everything you’re gonna need for an awesome vacation. Clean and comfortable for all ages! Pickleball and tennis right in the backyard. Planning our trip for next year already!!

This was a surprise trip for my husband who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. My daughter rented a nearby property and she was married in a private ceremony. The surprise and joy on my husband’s face was everything to us! The property was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the amenities of the complex but also the privacy of being in a house. The check in and check out process was easy, and communication with Stephanie was always timely. We hope to return in the fall and would definitely stay again!!

This was our 3rd time staying here, and I’m sure we will be back for a fourth time next year! We love how with this beach house you get the whole house to yourself and are a quick walk to the beach and pool! It’s in the absolute perfect location, well equipped, and you can bring your pets too!!! The beach service (2 chairs and an umbrella already set up) is such a great perk that’s included with this property!

Everything was as advertised and just as other reviewers noted. Stephanie the owner was fast to answer any questions. The Beach service was great and we used the beach wagon to take the beach chairs provided at the house so everyone had a chair!

The property is in an excellent location, with a short walk to the beach and plenty if retail stores nearby. We have stayed with the same hosts in another property, and they keep their units clean and well-equipped. Stephanie is very responsive to any communications. We will definitely stay with them again!

We had a wonderful time! My daughter and I were beyond impressed with the clean floors, bed linens and bath towels. It smelled and felt very clean and comfortable. I normally don’t message a host, but Stephanie was sweet and helpful with our questions about restaurants in the area! We would love to stay in this house when we come back to our favorite beach! The complimentary chairs and umbrella are wonderful!! Thank you for letting us stay in your beach house!! We think it’s perfect!

Great location. Friendly neighbors. Short walk to beach. Excellent pool. Ideal setup in kitchen and living room. Small place but cozy and near Whole Foods and restaurants. Gated neighborhood though DoorDash no problem. Really enjoyed the boardwalk by the beach.

House was clean, the owner responsive, the property is just as described. It is a short, easy walk to the beach and the cart and extra chairs provided are very helpful. The beach service of two chairs and an umbrella is great and borderline necessary. We had a fantastic stay and will certainly look to rent the same house again at some point.

The House was wonderful! it was crisp and clean and updated. Tile floors were great with kids to not stress about cleaning up after ourselves each meal, all bedrooms and bed were great and gave us plenty of space! The neighborhood was clean and manicured, nicely lit with easy sidewalks to walk our dog. There are a lot of rentals in the neighborhood but it still gives off a nice neighborhood vibe. The beach was SO close, honestly not a hard walk at all with 4 young kids, the brisk walk back to the house gave us a chance to make sure we had shaken off any extra sand. Stephanie was always prompt and polite with any questions I had. If you are unsure go ahead and book this house!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. The house was clean, chairs and sand toys available, the beach was just a short distance away, and nice to have to the pool close. We will definitely be staying again in the future! We had a great time at Maravilla. House was clean, equipped, private and close to the beach. This may well be the cleanest beach I’ve ever seen and while we were there the water was clear. Will be back. Stephanie was very accommodating.

Property was very clean and well-kept. The beach service was awesome. We had the same attendant every day (Kevin) and he was wonderful. Stephanie is wonderful to work with and very accessible. The pool behind the house was heated and it was nice being so close. Had a great yard which is hard to find with beach homes! Plenty of pool chairs, toys, etc so you don’t need anything but your beach towels!

The most important thing to me about any vacation is the cleanliness of the home. (I am a neat freak who has left properties on day one over cleanliness issues.) The second most important thing is the person who manages it. Sea Joy met both of my expectations; the home was clean and uncluttered and Stephanie was always responsive and helpful. The home is a short walk across one main parking lot to the beach and the private beach access with chair service absolutely made the trip. Destin is a crowded city, but the Maravilla-exclusive beach area was excellent and made it feel smaller.

This beautiful vacation rental made for the perfect vacation for us and our 4 college age kids. The house is incredibly clean with a great floor plan that is open and inviting. The amenities were awesome and in very close proximity to the house. The included chairs and umbrella already set up at the beach was a bonus. If we travel to Destin again in the future, this is without a doubt where we will stay!

We made the decision to have a family vacation this year. Our daughter-in-law picked the location and we were able to secure the last week in May. Destin has always been one of our family favorite locations. We've been coming down for the past 20 years and have thoroughly enjoyed each of the visits. This house was perfect for us. Good size bedrooms, nice living space and the kitchen gave us the space to make some fantastic meals and memories. A quick walk to the beach, swimming pools or Pompano Joe's . Everything we needed was provided. Working with Stephanie was a breeze. Any question we had was answered almost immediately and she was great to work with making us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing adventure.

This was our second stay at Stephanie's property in Maravilla. It has absolutely everything we want, great location with a private beach, walking distance to Pompano Joe's for lunch, clean, quiet, and what a great host Stephanie is. Always prompt and super easy to work with. The house is one of the best , if not the best spot in the community. it's close to the pool, and a simple walk across the parking lot to the beach to the emerald green waters. The house is very kept and has all the bells and whistles one could need! Thank you Stephanie for another great stay !
